Such a bad service! If you wanna wait almost an hour (because your order has been lost) and after this they will place just 2 items from 3 - welcome! These guys can successfully ruin your day!
Amazing bakery. Great food. Even greater prices. My only complaint is the coffee. Bakery coffee is always delicious but this was just bad. I got two cups and the second was worse than the last! It basically tastes like coffee flavored water. Which usually means the beans aren't ground fine enough. Other than that, love this place!
Likely won't be back. Have enjoyed popping in to pick up pastries many times in the past. But last few visits have been pretty meh. Visited for brunch- it was pretty unremarkable for the price paid. Haven't gone again since until this weekend. We picked up a few pastries to go. The girl behind the counter was unpleasant to say the least. Acted put- out and incensed to be asked two questions and was positively snarky in her replies. I get weekends can be busy - but yikes.
Incredible breakfast and super friendly staff. They were down a person on a incredibly busy Sunday morning and still managed to provide phenomenal customer service.
Food is delicious as well, the breakfast sandwich was perfectly proportioned, and served on a super buttery croissant. 10/10
Best cake ever! We ordered a full slab chocolate & white cake with chocolate mousse for a 99th birthday party…. The cake was so light, the mousse was very smooth & fluffy … top that with the fact that it didn’t taste overly sweet … no problem eating a large piece! Guests raved about it. Would definitely order again.
I had a horrible experience there today. I walked in behind another lady and we both waited 10 minutes to be helped in the bakery. She was helped by an employee who had been busy on a phone call, so understandably couldn't come over sooner. This employee then took her to the cash and I never saw her again. I continued to wait while two other parties came in behind me. Both those parties were helped with bakery items while at the till, meanwhile I continued to wait. One of the parties was ordering cinnamon buns, which is what I was there for and I had watched 6 go in the time I waited. In an effort to get my order before they were all gone, I intercepted her while she filled the man's order. I then went to the cash where she actively reached over me with the terminal to the man whom she had helped who came in after me. I will not be back until something is clearly put in place to help customers in the order they arrive. It was chaotic and I was disappointed to feel like I was not welcome there and to get my order and give my money to this business, I had to fight my way to my order.
Stopped by at midday for a coffee and dessert and found this bakery very mediocre in every way. Very low selection of desserts or pastries, rather bland tasting. Service at the table was almost non existent although friendly. Considering the higher prices, I don't think we will be back.
Staff are always friendly and provide great service. They get quite busy on weekends and they don't take reservations, but it's not usually a long wait.
Food is good; some pastries and dishes are spectacular, while some are just about average.
Got a couple of the pastries and a shot of espresso. I always appreciate service with a smile, and our server was more than helpful. It's a bit of a drive for me (don't get me started on the gas prices) but I am definitely planning to go back and try the brunch sooner rather than later
As a customer and former employee i am happy this place exist putting the minor inconveniences i like this place 100 percent true fresh food and all in house made with real ingredients
very underrated for how good it is.i recommend everyone to try it
Food is great, service is not the best. Went for breakfast this week and servers seemed more concerned with sorting cutlery than checking on the 5 occupied tables. Both servers were very polite and seemed happy to serve but didn't seem to know they should check on the tables even after the food was served. Anyone that came in to buy from bakery counter got very prompt service. I had to ask for a coffee refill then had to go to the counter to get more cream for my coffee because after my meal was delivered no one came back. I'd suggest you stick to take-out unless you don't mind waiting a long time before you see your server back at your table.
What a letdown and I had high hopes, but unfortunately my first visit became my last visit. I went in to buy some baked goods and place an order for two cakes but the bizarre hostile attitude at literally the first exchange of words after I said hi left very little to be desired after my short visit. The woman with the heavily done eyebrows wearing a braid behind the pastry counter acted like a simple question was such a drag to answer and it’s embarrassing for an adult to behave like a snarky, condescending teenager over absolutely nothing, just being mean for sport. I even tried giving her the benefit of the doubt with a second chance by asking another innocuous question thinking maybe I blacked out during my first question and said something horrible I didn’t realize saying but nope, still surly as hell. I was there for less than 5 minutes and promptly made my exit because what’s the point of even trying with such unwarranted negativity when I could go elsewhere? Which I did, and it was smooth, chill, and respectful which most people can manage to do. It’s typically customers who are unfortunately rude to staff in the service industry but maybe this place is experimenting with some sort of avant garde, post modern, disrespectful approach they haven’t informed the public of just yet. Also, if you choose to reply to this review, please don’t try to insult a customer’s intelligence by making up fake excuses for the bad attitude like the person having a “bad day” or covid. Bad manners are a conscious choice; it’s best to just take responsibility.
