Pauls Pizza Airdrie

We received our food in a timely manner especially since it was from Airdrie. First appearance looked great as per the reviews however after a few bites we noticed that there was a lack of sauce so it wasn't super tasty. We ordered breakfast bacon as well and we only got 3 slices on our large pizza! So most of the slices didn't even have bacon on them, and pepperoni was very minimal too. Based on the pictures the meat was stacked but not on our pizzas. The Donair was decent and the they did not skip out on the cheese. Unfortunately cheese doesn't make up for lack of flavor or lack of meat or even an extra topping we paid for. It was not a great experience with Pauls pizza.

We had a meat lover pizza for the first time we tried this restaurant, saw the pic on google.and LOVE IT! Crispy cheese on top! Surprise! Meat fully loaded!
Second time we tried veggie pizza, still AMAZING!
3rd time we dine in for Fish&chips Friday! Delicious! End with a super moist and nutty carrot cake! EVERYTHING are delicious! Too bad we have to hit the road highly recommended!

With all of their great ratings and extremely high prices, I thought for sure my time there would be worth the price. Unfortunately, it was not what everyone else was bragging about. It is an extremely expensive restaurant with the atmosphere and the looks of a Denny's. The food was okay; it was enjoyable

We have eaten here before, however, on Friday during lunch, I took a friend who never ate there before. It was a terrible experience. Our waitress promptly took our order but unfortunately when it was time to get our food, it took forever. When the pizza came out, the middle was freezing cold. The waitress was so non caring about it. We paid in cash and waited for the longest time for our change. Finally I found her asking for my change and she said, "oh, I kept the change as my tip" Wow! I was so upset with her telling her she had no right to decide to keep my money as a tip, especially a 20% tip that she did not deserve.

Stopped by on Sunday, the poor server was by himself taking care of the entire bar side of Paul's. He was excellent for what he had to do all on his own, wait tables, make all the drinks and deliver, serve food.
The pizza was great, would maybe like to see a few more beers on tap but that would be the only negative feedback.

Used to got there.
Average food.
High relative price.
Disappointed overall.

I just ordered takeout pizza. The topping was delicious and pizza crust was medium thick, but crusty. Just how I like it! I’ll go back again.

We had the Chef's Special pizza. It was amazing! We have never been disappointed with the service or the food. Our server today was Christine. She was friendly and cheerful. All around a 5 star experience.
