Awesome people! They swapped a broken key for me so I didn’t have to spring for a whole new keyboard for my laptop. I’m extremely grateful and will definitely return.
I brought my laptop to PCMaster Pro for repair. The staff were knowledgeable and professional, and they diagnosed the problem quickly. They provided me with a clear explanation of the issue and the repair process, and they gave me an accurate estimate of the cost and the timeframe for the repair
I recently visited PCMaster Pro for my computer needs. I was impressed with their extensive selection of computer products and accessories. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and they provided me with helpful advice and recommendations on what products would suit my needs
Nour at PC Master Pro was absolutely amazing! She listened to the issues I was having, and gave me a super quick, effective, and cost-effective service. Couldn't recommend them enough!
Very quick upgrade! Less than 24 hours later I got an email saying it’s ready! It was supposed to be 2 days which was already fast but it exceeded that!
Great service, Extremely happy with the quality of the repair! Dropped off my iPhone 11 with a cracked screen, within 2 hours they had replaced the screen with a "aftermarket non apple genuine screen" it looked brand new when I got it back. 10/10 stars, take you business here over any other shop in Calgary! When I picked it up I talked the owner, seemed very knowledgeable in all fields of technology. I will forever take all my tech repair needs to PCMaster Pro
I was very impressed with the amazing service I received here. I was in desperate need to get my laptop fixed in a short amount of time. Pc master pro did just that and more. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Very professional, fast and good price! I love the way the shop looks like, clean and professional, comparing with Applexpert where there is a mess in the store. It shows how business is conducted.
I had used PCMaster Pro in the past and was quite satisfied with their work, so chose to use them once again. Like some previous reviews, I was very impressed with the service provided by Ali and Nour at their Kensington location. My laptop had died and they diagnosed it as a motherboard failure issue. Rather than purchase a new laptop, I bought one of their reconditioned ones and had it upgraded with a solid state drive and more RAM. Even though they were in the middle of changing locations, Ali was able to transfer my data from “old” hard drive and the upgrades almost immediately! They were very helpful on any follow-up questions I had since purchasing this laptop. I would definitely recommend them, once again, to anyone!
I sent my laptop twice because the keyboard wasn't working properly, and each time I was told it was fixed but the issue is still coming back, not going there for a third time.
BEWARE! They charged TOO MUCH! Every move they do is going to be chargeable! If there's -10 start i would love to give them that. They will oder the part and if its not going to work they will do another diagnostic which will cost another bucks!
They always fix my phone well whenever my screen is broken and they were able to solve any issues I had with my phone and went above and beyond my expectations. Excellent customer service
I brought my Macbook in for repair and from the moment I walked in to the second I walked out (with a fixed computer) I received the best customer service I've ever received from a computer repair shop. They were very knowledgeable and gave me the exact problem with the computer and a solution. They were much more helpful than any Apple store experience I've had. Every time I've been to the Apple store, they suggest a full overhaul of the computer for a "starting" repair price of $1200. Or to buy a brand new computer. PC Masters Pro were very up front and on top of that, they even gave me a discount on the service. They also gave me recommendations on what to look out for and any optional repairs in the future. Thank you very much! I would highly recommend this place for any Macbook repairs over the Apple store any day.
I brought my iPhone in as the lightning charging port was no longer working and cleaning it out didn’t fix it. They replaced the port and when I got my phone back the next day the phone would restart every minute, making it pretty much unusable. I brought it back for them to check it out again. Apparently something on the chip motherboard was fried and Touch ID now no longer worked. It was going to cost $120 plus a week to get the part. I had already paid them $90 for the charging port, which by the way had a receipt for the wrong part, and now I was being asked for more. No refund or replacement was even mentioned. The phone worked perfectly before with the only issue being having to use wireless charging alone and now I have paid money to have a basically bricked phone.
Dropped off my PC on Friday, didn't hear anything until the following Wednesday when I called them. Clerk promised to call me back with an update Thursday. Did not happen. I called again Friday. Got a promise to call me back. I feel they are wasting my time.
Incredible experience. I called asking if they could schedule a technician to look at my laptop, they said I could come in the same day. The problem and various solutions were explained to me in a way that was really easy for me to understand. I’m moving in 1 week and asked if they could fix my laptop before then and I was assured it was possible. They literally called me the next day and said my laptop repair was done! When I went to collect it, they said they knew I was stressed about the repair and that’s why they fixed it so quickly for me. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, greatly appreciate the work they did!
In 2019, I took my Macbook to them to have a new Battery installed. They recommended an SSD upgrade to make it run faster (but it never did).
The Macbook crashed a few weeks ago and when I took it to Apple, that was when I discovered how despicable and shaddy PCMaster Pro really is.
While it is perfectly understandable that they have a 30 day warranty on their work, the SSD has a 3 year warranty from Toshiba.
HERE'S THE SHOCKER!
When I contacted Toshiba, they said that the SSD hard-drive that PC Master Pro had installed back in 2019 was activated in 2013 and the warranty had expired since 2016.
So in short, back in 2019, when these guys installed the SSD, that SSD had warranty that expired 3 years prior!
My guess that it's probably a used one too, salvaged from their other repairs.knowing full well that you will never open the case to find out.
Toshiba told me to contact PCMaster Pro to get a replacement because they sold old expired/used stock as new. But I was met with denials and my request for an amicable resolution was ignored.
Don't take my word for it, check out BBB, there is another guy that paid for a SSD but got a regular harddrive instead.
The name says it all. Masters and Professionals in their deceit indeed.
Great, fast service. Had to get a screen replacement for my Macbook Pro, was able to get it done within a couple of hours after the parts came in. Staff were professional and friendly. Excellent!
Exceptional customer service! These guys knew exactly how to fix my computer and they did it in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend anyone to bring their computer here for service. The prices were unbelievable, I was so thankful to have these guys work on my PC!
I confirmed that the computer that was advised on kijiji was still available before we went down they said it was, when we arrived 30 minutes later, they couldn’t find it? They had 3 or 4 others of the same computer ($50 more, the ol bait and switch) Sam said that he would sell us one of them at the lower price, we said ok we’ll take that one, he went behind the counter, we thought to get a bill or whatever he was doing? A couple came in and he started taking care of them, we stood there for about 5 minutes and never even acknowledged us, I looked at my wife and said “I thought he was helping us”? She said “I thought so too”, we just walked out, what a waste of time. The place is sketchy and we were probably lucky not to do business there! Very unprofessional.
Service was great! Very professional and fast with fair prices. We couldn't find many people in Calgary to help out with a complicated data transfer from a surface pro 3, however, the owner was able to figure it out for us!
