Great place to relax, swim, and use a floating device down a smaller sized rapid as well as spend the day and bbq

Beautiful park by the river. There’s also playground and picnic area where you can bbq.
I prefer coming here in the fall season to see the colour changes. It’s wheelchair and stroller friendly.

This is a really cool park. There is a train that comes through.plenty of trees. River, water fall, larches, ponds. We were lucky to see an eagle in the trees eating a fish.it is a must-see!

Awesome place has everything from picnic sites in the park (they do have to be reserved ahead of time) to an awesome river run to float down on a raft!

Went for a walk with my brother. I've been around Calgary lots but I didn't know this place was here. Quiet and relaxing.

My husband and I were in Calgary for a week and came to this beach park. Loved seeing the ponds and walking the paths.

Parking is a bit of nightmare if you don't arrive early, however if it's a regular day aka not a holiday that's probably less of an issue. There's tons to do here, paths going in multiple directions with lots to see along the way. There's man made rapids at Harvey passage and a nice wading area as well. Plenty of space even on Canada Day which was surprising, and lots of trees for shade. Haven't explored the science aspect of this area much but there's another thing to do! All in all a great time at a great park 10/10

Great park! Kids, dog friendly. We had a BBQ there last weekend and the kiddos had lots of fun!

One of our favorite parks. We love coming here for a nice stroll and sitting by the river at Harvey's passage.

Parking is incredibly limited, but it's a beautiful spot on a hot day. Lots of big trees for shade, and access to the river for swimming and tubing

It's my favorite spot for a cold dip in winter and to enjoy a sunny day any time of the year.

My pup loves this place that we visit frequently despite the long drive. It's that worthy it as she enjoys every moment she is there. The park is lovely and so calming.

It’s amazing place to visit to spend lovely evening near the Bow River enjoying nature. There is a waling trail surrounded by dense trees You can enjoy walk by the river. You won’t regret visiting this place for a small getaway.

Great place to have a picnic and when it gets too hot you can float in the Bow River rapids!

Our kayak slalom training grounds. We are so fortunate to have these amazing facilities located within the city of Calgary.

I really like this park. It's never too crowded. The fish hatchery is a cool place to take the kids and also Harvie Passage is a great spot chill by the water within the city.

A hidden gem. Natural reserve with wetlands, river, prairie, and trout streams. Watch for red wing blackbirds in the spring - they are very territorial.

I did not know this place. Thought of taking a different route today for cycling routine and ended up here. Absolutely loved the flow of the river. Nice place with lots of shades, not quiet though as it is close to freeway.

Lovely place to spend time with your family. Will return back.
