Since this is the same business I will be sharing on both sites so that others can see how I was treated as a customer.
1. I went in there to order takeout at 805. I got told at Pearls Cafe that I could not order food there and that I had to go to Pizza of Waterton which is an attached building and the same company.
2. I quickly went to the grocery store, beside it quick before heading to the pizza place to order food and when I got to the restaurant 5 min later they told me to go into the cafe to order takeout because they don't do takeout orders. I had said that I was told to come here by the barista in the joined cafe and they told me that the barista was mistaken.
3. I go into the Cafe and I say that they told me to come to the cafe to order takeout. She said to me, "Well who told you that? " I said the person in the restaurant and she said who what's their name? I said I didn't know their name and she asked me if they were ghosts. I said no and she seemed pissed and slapped down a menu in front of me.
4. As I ordered and also ordered coffee she slapped down the coffee cups as well on the counter and once I paid she said our interaction was done. I was extremely confused. I asked her where I would pick up the takeout and she said she will bring it to the table. Over 30 minutes go by no food so I told her I had to leave for our ferry. Let's just say she could care less. 45.00 plus a tip - no food. This is no good. To be honest, it seemed like no one in either establishment even though they are joined cared. They just wanted to pass me off to one another and not be anyone's problem.
No food, no apology, no refund.
5. We were going to have pizza tonight from their joined pizza place. We will be going somewhere else and Everytime we return, we will not be eating here.
- Maybe she was just in a bad mood but we couldn't eat in, we had our dog, otherwise I would have sat in the restaurant and not bothered her because this was our only option.
6. The restaurant itself had two tables in it as well so they were not busy.
If I could have given a zero, I would have. I am in the hospitality industry and this was not nice. I would also like to add we ordered smashed avocado toast and a regular breakfast. The side is fresh fruit.

I have never seen a more bedraggled, hungover, and incompetent kitchen staff. Or mabey they were still coming off acid, as one line cook was wearing a t-shirt stating 'Acid Hero'.
The menu states the meal is served with maple syrup, when instead they're slinging Aunt Jemimas. I'm embarrassed for any poor tourist who is duped by this scam and believes they are trying Canadian maple syrup.
The saving grace is our server, Shonoa, was extremely helpful, friendly, and proficient at her job.
I hope to NEVER experience a shoddy, unauthentic establishment such as this one in my remaining years on this planet. Its an embarrassment to the historic Canadiana Waterton National Park represents.

Ham and Swiss stuffed French toast was good, but service was very slow. It took awhile to get menus and our food. It’s also a little expensive.

Pearls Cafe offered anything but Pearls, it was more like an oyster filled with diamonds. However that is what I would guess as it was closed.

We were disappointed. We had ordered Cinnamon bun and coffee.
Our experience has been these sticky buns are hot sellers. Usually straight off the oven sheet to the customer. Soft, warm and icing plentiful. Get them early cuz once they’re gone, you’re out of luck- until the next morning fresh batch.
Sunday August 21 the cinnamon bun could not even be resuscitated by the microwave. It was dry, hard and crumbling. We went down the street and found a delicious cinnamon bun.
The staff members were very accommodating and pleasant.

Pizza was good. Service could have been better but wasn't horrible. The Bertha had a tiny bit too much BBQ sauce.

We popped in here for breakfast which was served until 11 AM. The server was exceptionally personable, polite and efficient. I had the hikers wrap which was delightful and plentiful. My wife had scrambled egg and sausages. The scrambled egg was so so.
I liked the idea that there was an adjoining area with some relevant books on hiking and flowers in Waterton etc.
For a quick breakfast at a reasonable price I would recommend this place, no doubt.

Quaint little place with nice views. Had a café mocha, one of the best I’ve had in a long time. They’ve got nice books on birds s as well!

Worst breakfast I've had in my life. $15 for 2 eggs, 2 pieces of cold bacon, and 4 quarters of cold, stale, rye bread. Not sure where all the good reviews have came from. Based on my experience, I won't be returning.

Came in and were greeted right away, very kind workers and were very helpful through out our visit here.

We had breakfast at Pearl's on Sunday, August 23rd. The blueberry crumble waffle was over-the-top amazing! The service was fast and the staff were very friendly The coffee was delicious. Some may consider it a bit pricy - the waffle was $15 - but I didn't think this was much at all. The meal was huge and I was absolutely stuffed. I would absolutely recommend checking out Pearl's if you get a chance. Breakfast place for sure as the hours are from early morning to about 11: 00am I believe.

Heard lots of hype, but was very disappointed with the experience. We were a party of two, immediately sat down at a sticky table and had to move over. Sat for about 10 minutes without menus and were asked what we wanted before we even got our menus. I was excited for their smashed avocado toast but decided against it as I didn’t exactly trust the establishment to deliver. Staff were flighty, flustered and dropped off the wrong meal to our table at first. Hot chocolate was strangely salty, but mostly just bland. When we did order, I chose the blueberry compote waffle. Unfortunately, the buttermilk waffle had the texture and flavour of an Eggo toaster waffle. Compote and crumble were exactly fine. The mountain of “whipped cream” that came with the order was actually a cheap “cool whip” style topping, not classic whipped cream. Some people might prefer this, but I was disappointed with the sugary, oily consistency. I ate one piece and didn’t feel like finishing. Despite our nearly untouched plates, the staff did not come to ask us how we were enjoying our meal or if there was anything else we needed. Left dissatisfied with the food and service.
(Also, maybe not a great place to bring kids? The TV monitors in the restaurant did not particularly set the right tone. One of them was playing a very adult-rated stand-up comedy special and the other was playing some graphic Animal Planet programs.)

Great breakfast place! We stopped in early before our hike for some coffee and breakfast. Hubby said his gingerbread latte was fantastic!

Great espresso options and breakfast spot with amazing staff. Lots of environmentally conscious touches, like to stay cups for the beautiful patio at Pizza of Waterton in the same building.
