Store smells really bad when you enter. I don't know what's rotting in the produce/deli. It's been like that for weeks. But overall a convenient place to shop

Way over priced for the same no name products. No Frills in Morinville (15 min away). Not recommend this place at all

Honestly the cashiers are great. I just found in that told I'd be put on hold instead. They hung up the phone and the person who talked to me was very rude

Small grocery store, PC products but a bit more pricey than superstore or so it seems. Their deli section, prepared food is where they shine. Selection isn’t great but the seem to have the majority of things you’ll need. They will order stuff in if you ask them.

I would not recommend this grocery store. The prices are incredibly expensive and you will be shocked how little $100 gets you. The bakery is an embarrassment and often only have stale bread on the shelf that is a day from expiry. Also they stopped bagging your groceries which is inconvenient as their tills are so small. They do have some nice local products but that's the only thing going for it.

Great service and choices. Produce was much nicer than most. Everything was stocked and shelves looked full. Pricey though.

We have to give a massive shoutout & THANK YOU to the bakery in Independent Grocers in St. Albert! To say they do a great job is an understatement. They created this absolutely beautiful Cocomelon cake for our daughters 3rd birthday party. Ladies, you do outstanding work! The care they took to make our daughters birthday extra special is so incredibly appreciated ️ What a wonderful team, right in our own town!

So poor customer service. Already 8: 20 in the morning seems like the staffs and supervisor/manager not ready to work yet. Promised 10 mins to wait but after 15 kins she told me to wait again for 15 more mins. And even showed me face that looks like "why are you here so early Kinda question thing? !? ! ". You need to address how your staffs/managers deal with customer service especially early in the morning. If they're not ready to help customers yet.then don't open your store that early.or.at least be nice to the person who is waiting.

Went there knowing we paid extra for convenience but the buns we got from the bakery were just like eating sawdust!

Quiet, nice place to shop. The store is clean and the bakery makes the best cakes of all the grocery stores in St. Albert!

Great service and customer service. Wearing a mask is required. Hand sanitizer stations are filled.

The store is brand new and very clean. I often go to buy cigarettes there because it is close to my house. But recently I had a bad experience, there a cashier Lu's attitude was terrible. I tried to ask him a few questions about products but he seemed very impatient, he pretended to read the files in his hand and tried to ignore my questions. I'm so disappointed by his attitude, can't see his working ethics? He treats customers differently and disrespects customers. If you had a bad day pls do not transfer to other people. Before I visited the store he looked polite in the customer service counter but he turned into a two-faced person in a blink of an eye, and sometimes saw him meet his manager with a hideous laughing full of hypocrisy, nodding and bowing like a pug who had just finished feeding food. Although your behavior looks like a cunning fox. But you can't choose customers to serve, and you can't choose colleagues to work with.

Great quality of food & friendly staff. We get platters there for our many potlucks & events at the gym.

The staff is friendly, helpful, efficient, and knowledgeable. They are extremely flexible with appointments and payments, and hav shown me many exercises I can do at home. Thanks James and team!

We usually go here just for flash food however that doesn't matter as ever time I go here I'm treated like a person. Very very friendly and efficient at every request given.

Staff was above and beyond helpfull. Absolutely loved the selection of international foods and fresh produce! Candy selection was a letdown but everything else was more than I was expecting.

Not happy with service today. I had purchased a Chow Mein steamed noodles yesterday and today when I was about to make it I opened and realized it was molded. I called they said to come back with the package. My husband went and after 20 minutes of waiting for the Manger to come back from lunch as the front desk person had no clue how to do the transaction my husband got fed up and paid for it again. Not acceptable service at all. Yes we all need a break but you don't let someone wait for 20 Min for an item that was purchased rotten.

Great place to pick up everything at really good prices. I really like their pre-made meals that you can get. Also love the fact that it's not always super packed with tons of people. Always in and out like Batman!

Really nice, clean store, new, has a really nice ambiance - surprisingly pleasant for a grocery store. The owners seem personable/friendly and seem to care about the community. Also, the selection and availability is fantastic; I don't know how they do it but they've always had everything we need and normally buy at the bigger stores, and then some. For example, we'd searched for two spices at numerous other grocery stores and come up empty-handed, but this store had both. They also carry products from local companies/local farmers that I haven't seen elsewhere.

We like it here. Small store, nice and clean. They sometimes don't have the selection of a Superstore but we make do.

I originally gave 5 stars but I had to change my review after stopping here a few times. The staff are friendly and there are almost never any line ups which I appreciate a lot.

However my concern lies with a few of the staff (specifically the guys that restock products and such). Everytime I stop in, I always see the same few gents not wearing their masks properly. It's consistently the same people and it seems management doesn't mind as they are never being corrected.

I was at the deli counter to pick up lunch meat along with two other costomers behind me. I waited for about 5 minutes until an employee came up and said no one is available to help me until 5pm maybe? It's 4 pm. The employee then says they do this all the time with a confused look. Time to do some training with other staff.

Nice quiet and clean just high prices Safeway and save on foods are a better value for money spent it just seems like a high priced Walmart

Great place and the staff at first had been the kindest and very friendly at first but recently not as much and I am not asked if I would like a paper receipt, which I do. I do like the convenience of a smaller sized grocery store.

The food selection is fantastic and fresh. The staff is friendly and are always willing to give extra help to disabled customers (in a safe manner). Items are in stock, even when they are on sale in the flyer. The PC Express Order Online, Pick it up Later works seamlessly. There’s no pick up charge if you are a PC Optimum Insiders member.

Their deli/warm food section was amazing. The idea of having a self checkout at the deli section is super smart. Also saves me the drive to Superstore on the other side of town. The place is also very clean and organized as it is new. Definitely will be back.:)

Well laid out. Staff were quite nice & it looked like they were all following Covid Protocols. In a good location.

The meat attendant was very friendly and found us excellent deals for steak night! Highly recommend this location from the customer service provided!

Tried the pick up service today. Excellent substitutions where needed and really nice produce. Delivery to the vehicle was quick and friendly. I will definitely be back.

So, Sooo impressed today! Went looking to buy a holiday baked treats tray but they didn't have any. Before I could pick out anything else though the lovely young woman in the bakery came and offered to make up a custom tray just for me! They went out of their way to find a tray that looked nice, carried it to the till and when he saw the lines were long took me through customer service! Needless to say, I rang the bell!

It is a beautiful store inside. We found the price of a few items extremely high $7.87 when I can get the same item for $3.49 elsewhere regular price. Just to expensive for my budget.
