Peavey Mart

I am a journeyman Power Lineman and make upwards to $200k per year. And I have tattoos that are visible. And everytime I am in this store, or the one in Beaumont, I am followed around by a very close and ignorant worker whom is constantly yapping at me asking if he an help me and is rude and invasive. From my time on tour with the C. A. F.in Afghanistan and Iraq, when someone comes up on me fast and startles me I react. And I told him to keep my distance but they still are invasive. I don't steal. I don't need to steal. And one of rhese times one of these jerks is going to car h me off guard and my soldier instincts will kick in and someone is going to get hurt. PTSD is a real thing. So maybe pick and choose your suspicious people a bit better. Because I'm not sure what these guys make a year for a living but I'm willing to bet I make 4 or 5 times that number so I don't need to steal. I'm almost at the point where I am taking my business elsewhere. I will never go into the Bwaumont store again as long as I live. Your store is almost at that point for me. The old guy with the Pot belly who fidgets with his hands behind his back is especially rude. And my next confrontation with him will result in him needing medical help. Call me a thief. He can kick rocks. When I come in there I'll have a Camo jacket on and my left hand has a skull tattoo and music symbols tattooed on the fingers. Leave me alone and let me spend my money. He's been warned.

Very disappointed! Put in an online order for dish cloths received email to pick up and stood there for half an hour while nobody knew where my order was. Had to come back the next day. It was found in a bin to be put out on the floor. Can’t see this location staying open much longer with lack of staff and nobody knows what’s happening in the store. Dish cloth packages including the product inside was filthy. See picture, three out of the four packages were disgusting. Won’t be shopping here again. Not the employees fault, this is 100% management issues.

Great price on birding supplies. Good tip is call first as their online stock numbers are often not up to date!

Even though this is a giant store I have yet to come across unhelpful staff. Everyone is so pleasant to deal with! Great job!

Just about everything you could use, clothing, pet food and toys, tools, camping stuff, etc.

I recommend you go and shop there they have excellent prices on all products and staff is really helpful and friendly if you can't find an item they will help you out

Found lots of items that we had to bring in from other cities by ordering online now we have local store close by no waiting. Staff were great very helpful.

Peavey mart will not sell me chicken feed unless I give them an address and telephone number. So goodbye Peavey mart as I buy feed elsewhere and no problems

Peavey mart sells a lot of brands homedepot and rona dont. They have great options for PPE and work gear. This location has a good range of items I found it to be larger inside than I had initially imagined.

What a big store love the selection whenever I come through the big city I like to stop here and pick up some of my supplies take them home I've never had any trouble here the staff is always been good good sales every once in awhile.

Some pretty good prices on items that everyone carries. They also have a great selection of diverse products

They don't follow scanning code of practice there and items often and repeatedly ring through at the til for a higher ammount then the floor advertised price.

Put a drill on hold all all was lost no history on it store is very unorganized this was a gift for my daughter so lady told me I was SOL sale was over won’t ever shop there again

It is dog friendly and have interesting things in the store. Very different from Home Depoe or Lowes.

Such a funtastic place. They have a bit of everything! When everywhere else was sold out of salt, they saved me. Very friendly staff, clean, well lit building. Nicely maintained parking lot and sidewalks too.

20 minutes in line for one cashier. There are 7 people behind me waiting and this cashier is more concerned about someone's customer info not being in the system than ringing people through. Now 12 people behind me.

I had no idea that they had a Peavey Mart in the city I was always going outside the city I love this great big store.

Just wanted to say that George and Dave at this store are phenomenal. Went to the store to locate some sale items and they went above and beyond to help me out. The best customer service I probably experienced in my life. They were amazing to deal with which is hard to find in today's retail environment. Peavey Mart should commend these employees for their job well done. Definitely a customer for life.

Went to pick up item i ordered online after i received an email saying items is ready for pick up, i called the store letting them i am coming to pick up the item the second day. I drove from my place to Edmonton (about 45 minutes) and when i got to store store manager told me they can't load my item because they don't want to drive forklift on snow and it needs chains, i asked why no one told me this when i called instead of making me drive all the way. Sam the store manager was not accommodating and did not provide options. I called head office and after few calls Sam called me to let me know they will call me when i can pick up my item.no one called me so i called back after a week and i was told i can pick my item only on Saturday because they don't have forklift driver on other days so i was unable to pick up item since i work Saturdays.

I was delighted to learn that Peavey Mart has an Edmonton location. It's an interesting store to poke around in. However, it was busy on the Sunday that I went and quite a few people (at least 6) were in the store without masks. I spoke with the Supervisor on the way out who claimed to be surprised that I had seen people without masks - this despite his having opened a fitting room for me and another for a man and woman who were not wearing masks. I'll not go back to a store that won't make an effort to follow the Provincial mask mandate.

Decent selection for a smaller outfit, nice staff as well. I don't know who Mr. Peavey really was but he's got a decent Mart.

Peavy always has fun deals, picked up some Dickies steel toed boots from their red tag shelf for $40 from the $109 original price. They also carry all our chicken essentials (feed, bedding, supplies.)

Super disappointed in the Edmonton Westend store’s customer service.

I bought a 10lbs bag of peanuts last week and opened it up on the weekend to find them MOLDY! Returned it to the store today only to have the store manager, Sam, more concerned if I had a receipt rather than the fact they were selling moldy product. (Which as first they didn’t want to return because it’s feed).

No apology, nor offer the replace the bag just – “can’t do anything for you without a receipt” and “how do we know you bought it here. ” (FYI, I did find the receipt and asked for my money back). It’s sad to see that a local company doesn’t care about customer service.

Needless to say, I’m super disappointed and won’t be shopping there anyone. Check your bag before leaving the store!

Great store for all your hardware and gardening needs. Unique products that you won't find in the big box stores. We'll worth a visit.

My partner says this store is fan f#$*ing tastic! You can get EVERYTHING you need here. Frying pans, air compressors, bird seed, rope, clothes. They had agave syrup for crumbs sake. This is the ultimate old school hardware store. And the service is great. Access to this location is a challenge from the south along St Albert Trail and travelling West on the Yellowhead so plan ahead. You have to come here and we need to go more often.

Good store, they carry many items that are hard to find anywhere else. Prices are very good as well.

Within 60 seconds of walking into this store a polite young man asked me if he could help me find something. After I told him what I was looking for he immediately led me to the requested item and showed me numerous options. Quite remarkable. The store itself is clean and well organized and quite big. There is lots of parking out front.

Love the items they have, some so unique! When they put stuff on sale, the sale prices are AMAZING!

It was surprisingly very quiet. Lots of fun things to look at. The teenager working was super friendly and we had a nice conversation about dogs (I bought a collar while I was there for my puppy). Will definitely be going back

The size of the store and the selection makes it much better than the small town Peavey Mart's. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

The people available there are quite helpful in finding the stuff you need. However, feels a bit under-staffed. Cheaper than home Depot. Having said that choices are limited compared to Home Depot. Interestingly, I did find a few things I have not seen in Home Depot/Lowe's for example, Gears of various sizes, pillow block casting for bearings etc. If you make your own jigs with motors, bearings, chains, pulleys etc would be an interesting store to visit.

Peavey Mart is a really interesting store. The have everything from hardware to pet food. They also have clothing and kitchen products. Peavey Mart is usually in small communities so it's unusual to see one in Edmonton. It is difficult to get into the parking lot if you are headed north on St Albert trail because you can't turn left at the intersection where Peavey Mart is located.

I like peavey mart. Glad to see them in Edmonton. I wish their website had what they have in their store though.
I need that Troy Bilt 42" lawn tractor to go on sale but it's not online to get a notification.
Still, a great store.

I love this store! Neat and clean, prices are very good, staff knowledgeable. They have different things from other hardware stores. Their bird products are excellent. My favourite place to shop.

Great selection for all your farming and household gardening needs. Massive selection of animal toys and feed.

Peavey Mart primarily targets people who live rurally (spell check has abandoned me) but, I'm sure that most city dwellers will appreciate everything the store has to offer.

Staff are helpful great store for garden, clothes, cooking so glad they finally opened in Edmonton
