Peavey Mart

Peavey is my go-to candy store for us farmy folks, horsey people, hard workers and garden junkies too!

This is a great store to go to. They carry everything from animal supplies to clothing and a little bit of everything in between. They also have some things that I've not found anywhere else. If you need something for around the house or looking for a new jacket, Peavey Mart is the place to go to first. Chances are high that they will have what your looking for! Prices are comparable to other stores and their staff is very helpful and friendly. I recommend this store for a great shopping experience.

A supervisor at your store (Rachel) had a very off putting attitude and the way she was helping people, employees and customers both, was honestly shocking that she can get away with it. She shouldn't be in a supervisor position or in a service industry if she's going to treat people that way. She's very condescending and seemed to be very impatient with any type of question.i really hope this isnt the base standard of your management.

Very friendly and helpful staff and a good selection of items; I have been able to find tools, supplies, work wear and seasonal items.

They sure pack a lot into this little store. There’s almost too much. Some of the aisles are tricky to navigate given how much is packed in here.

Shopping at Peavy Mart feels more like supporting your local business.
Also not everything here is made in China which is a welcome relief.

They carry many top brands in many different departments, I personally prefer Milwaukee tools which they seem well stocked in.

Certain hard to find premium synthetic oils are readily available.

Best kept secret in Southern Alberta is their prices on bulk hardware.
Don't forget to shop on boxing day is all their Christmas toys are on 50% or less off

This store in very good located in the heart of High River. Huge parking lot and plenty of space for larger vehicles. Inside is a older but very well stocked store. Got greeted on my way in. Looks like that they are understaffed, did only see one staff member and she is the cashier, greeter and does the restocking as well but managed to greet my friendly and helped me out at the check out. Quick and professional. Thank you

Worst store anyway in Southern Alberta. Dealing with thoroughly disengaged staff is like swimming through through wet wet cement. Avoid this store and the staff at all costs

Sometimes the staff are almost too helpful. Offer assistance bit then have little knowledge of there products

Cool selection of items although it seems like the merchandiser has a bit of ADHD. Unrelated items tucked into the oddest places. Prices are very competitive on some items, way over on others so pay attention.

Don't waste your time here! Would give them ZERO stars if I could. NEVER have in store what they advertise in their flyer. TERRIBLE staff knowledge and assistance. Will NEVER shop here again. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Bought snowshoes there, new store, excellent staff working there. However, no bird food available as of yet.

The team at PVmart went above and beyond to make a tough situation into a win. The Manager, Michelle did so much for us to solve some tough problems and we can't thank them enough. When working with tough challenges in Alberta, I will look to PVmart to solve them in the future. Thank You from Everyone at Alopex Couriers

This is a cross between Princess Auto Home Hardware with some clothing added in. It is a true one stop shop. We got a great deal on a BBQ and the staff were great.

This store has friendly and helpful staff. Better pricing then another store in town. Great selection.

Great store.some hardware.some outdoor lawn and garden, some farm supply.toys.boots. Western wear. Where else can you buy a pair of boots, a nice shirt, welding rod, a water pump and fittings, casters, a toy for the kids, some candy for the wife and a carburetor rebuild kit and muffler for a ford 9n tractor all in one store.nowhere else. Nowhere. If peavey mart doesn't have it I don't need it.

I have had the worst customer experience with a "Todd Phillips" from PeaveyMart trying to buy their Coleman Go Kart and Trailer Yard sprayer for over a week. I have been turned down several times and promised a call back or email, but nothing. It seems like my money isn't good there. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else.

Always nice to shop at Peavey, the folks there take great pride in their new location and in helping staff. Even during these difficult times with Covid, the staff are very friendly and patient. Keep it up folks, we're all in this together!

This virus has turned people into lunatics. There is no chance you will make business. Just shut down! The staff refused me entry because I wouldn’t use hand sanitizer. What about people with allergies, skin conditions, etc? This is a joke and I will never return.
Also, Home Hardware had an even better deal on what I needed anyways!

I usually really like P mart, but I'm pretty cheesed off. I was waiting in line with my husband, and the door warden told us 1 person/ family per car. So willingly I left as per the stores wishes. That would be fine but the people behind us heard that, and just spread out and she let them all in together. Are you kidding me? Yes I get that "we're all in this together, and these are unprecedented times". But lord almighty folks.

Return time and process was excessive and painful. Staff unsure of process.poor communication felt unwelcome.

I love Peavey Mart. Its got everything farm stuff, country stuff, and useful. Good clothing selection, with 2xlt sizes in shirts.

They have it all. A very miscellaneous store but in a good way. If you need something they have it. Also have a very good selection of glue. Very nice staff too.

I find their prices are almost always higher than their competition. Gotta think they would be competitive with CT and Home Hardware but tend to be a few bucks more.

Serious lack of staff, no assistance whatsoever. Even when at till there was no one there. Regularly go there to get bird seed and garden items. Bird seed hasn't been restocked in over 4 months. What's going on? I always recommend my followers to Peavey Mart, I ended up having to go to UFA instead. I really hope this isn't a permanent thing, will miss going there.

Absolutely amazing customer service. I recently purchased a Vegepod from them and when I opened the box it was damaged. When I called the store and spoke to the manager, Michelle she was absolutely incredible. She not only offered to replace the part immediately from one they have in the store but drove into Calgary and brought me the replacement part herself. Thank you Michelle!

Has a selection like no other store. I even find myself going in just to look around to kill time. Staff has always been awesome.
