This is a dreadful hotel $149 a night…

no pool

no restaurant

They advertise a continental breakfast that starts at 6 AM I think half of the hotel is working at the local Woodmill and they all leave before 6 AM so there’s no breakfast. It has been discussed to start the breakfast half an hour early to accommodate all the workers however there’s still no breakfast I will not stay here
And don’t you do…

As for Internet, but the Internet is abominable….

I gave this hotel only 3 stars because of the breakfast. Processed sugar, waffles, toast, and that is it. There were no eggs, bacon, ham, hash browns, etc. Coffee and juices as well.

The rooms were clean, beds comfy.
Staff seemed friendly. Parking lot was large and nice.that semis could park there beside the parking lot.
Hotel was quiet and clean.

Service and location were great.
Rooms are dated but comfortable. Has everything you need.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, we were really looking forward to a meal there

This was the best place to stay in High Prairie. The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There were limited options for breakfast, but otherwise, the internet connection was great and several other amenities available (i.e. Pool, gym).

Typical small town hotel, kid running up and down hallways and slamming doors after 10pm, the hot tub isn't hot it's like slightly warm bath water, even after other guests asked staff if it was possible to turn the tempature up and were told no, and the toilet in our room was really difficult to flush and was REALLY loud, room was clean and beds were comfy!

I needed a room last minute so I booked here. The room was clean and modern, everything you expect in a big city like Edmonton but in tiny High Prairie. The restaurant was closed when I was here so I can't review it. I will stay here again next time I'm in town

Great service the staff are very friendly and honest, went to the cafeteria and they made an awesome meal it took some time but it was worth the wait for the food, I didn't catch any of their names I forget everything I see unfortunately locked myself out of my room about three times and they gave me a new key no hassle each time, they also have really cool art very authentic I hope the chef gets a raise and so does the young women at the front desk because they deserve more than million imo.

Came back here 3 years later and I’m glad to see the hotel still being maintained properly.

I took a star off because there was no shower curtain, other than that everything was great.

We will not be back. We chose this hotel because of the pool. We were not told that the pool was closed and has been closed for 2 years until after we booked in. The breakfast was poor and the rooms were dingy and too hot despite the loud and half broken air conditioner. So disappointed.

Very disappointed in this hotel. When we booked the room we were not told that the pool/spa was closed or that the restaurant was closed. (And had been for quite some time so this wasn't something new) The lady that checked us in had the worst attitude and was not helpful at all. There was a group of us travelling and had at least 10 rooms booked among the group and everyone had the same experience.
Poor selection for the continental breakfast.
On the upside, Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean.
Overall, I Don’t recommend staying here.
