Initializing non-stop 24 hour emergency security services to an unfamiliar site, is often a headache to coordinate. I was pleasantly surprised to have a truly positive experience working with Peka, while providing our coverage of one of their sites, during a mechanical emergency. Tashi, one of their reps, was particularly helpful, in providing us with real-time intel and guidance, throughout our time of working together. Her consistent professionalism, obvious enthusiasm for her work, and attention to detail, was apparent throughout this job. You have great people working for you Peka! Tashi is one of them.

Horrible they'll bill you for everything when you go to move out. Small amounts of dust on baseboards they'll claim your responsible for and they'll bill you for their cleaner. I understand if it was dirty dishes or appliances but they're ridiculous

I would like to express how helpful Kimberley has been in playing repair man for the parkade door.
Not once but twice today she has stopped what she was doing to go to somebody’s aid, and that is just today. It has happened many times before. This has also saved the Condo a lot of money for service calls.

I have been renting the same house from PEKA for 3 years, each time I need service they respond quickly and I am extremely impressed by the efficiency of the maintenance request I put in yesterday. I emailed Jessica Springstead and Sean Hipkins at 0930AM advising of a no heat issue. By lunch time someone had been around to take a look and resolve the issue. Great service from a Property Management company. Thank you so much!

We have been tenants with PEKA for many years. Recently our hot water heater/tank broke and the water had to be completely shut off for the house. Jessica S helped us get our water back on and the new hot water tank installed that same day. It was a Friday, so we were very happy to not go the weekend without hot water!

She also sorted out getting our washing machine fixed shortly after that. She has been a real life saver making sure our home repairs were completed quickly.

Sean's communication throughout the order was outstanding and Sean followed up with us to ensure we were taken care of. We have been tenants for the last 3 years with Peka managing the property we live in and have always felt well cared for! Mark W, has managed the majority of our requests and he is quick to respond and always professional. Yesterday I emailed him about our dryer making a loud squeak and today a repair person is here replacing the bearings. Thanks to Mark and Tonia for always responding so quickly!

I would give zero stars if I could. My siding still isn't repaired from the big hail storm in NE Calgary over 2 years ago, and I keep getting the runaround from the company. Also my sprinklers haven't turned on yet this year. My advice if you're looking at buying a property managed by this company, run the other way as fast as you can.

Peka and Ray Langlois handled the rental of our condo for just over a year. Both the company and Ray were excellent to deal with. Ray and Mark were very reponsive to any questions I had during the entire length of my term with Peka. I would not hesitate to have them handle another rental term if needed. I’ve been renting from PEKA for almost two years and I would highly recommend their services. Upon moving into a new rental property, we expressed concerns about the past move-out clean by the previous tenants and PEKA respectfully navigated our concerns with professionalism. They mediated a situation that was initially shocking to us and they compensated us for the extra cleaning we had to do upon moving in. Ashley from PEKA has been handling our file and she is very quick to respond to follow-up questions or concerns and has been clear with expectations. When our fireplace wouldn’t start, they had a repairman in very promptly to fix it, hassle-free. It has been great renting from PEKA and we appreciate the attention to detail, professionalism and thorough communication we have had with them. Overall great experience!

As a board member on a few condo's in Alberta, Peka are by far the best property management I work with. Efficient and they also tend to go the extra mile, notably Mark Walker and our property manager Anthony. As a result, we have an engaged condo board and a well-run building.

Quite simply the best property management company we have come across. Particularly want to mention - on this occasion - Tatenda, who has now helped us out with a couple of mistaken condo fee arrears notices from another property management company (which manages a complex in which we own a condo). Peka pay the condo fees on our behalf, and are always super correct. I wont mentioned the name of the other property company, but they have managed to get their accounting procedures wrong on two separate occasions - which is really rather disappointing for a company that is supposed to manage a property complex, not only on behalf the complex as a whole, but also, presumably, the condo owners.
On both occasions, Tatenda hit the ground running, pointed out the error of their ways and fixed it in double quick time. Excellent work, Tatenda and many thanks.
I have to say that Mark Walker and all his team at Peka are at the top of their game. We have been with them for quite a few years now and we are lucky to have found them. If you are looking for a property management company in Canmore, look no further - you wont be disappointed.

I've owned my condo in Canmore for many years and PEKA has been our property manager the entire time. Becki is amazing. No matter what question I have, she answers it promptly and efficiently. She follows up on all concerns regardless of how small they are. When we had a big maintenance project happening, the email updates were frequent and informative. We have nothing but good things to say about PEKA and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new management company!

This review is personally aimed towards "Jess Springstead" our personal property manager. If you have an issue I suggest flicking Jess an email she doesn't just get back to you that week but literally within the hour. Any time I need to speak with someone from Peka Jess is my go too. She's efficient and excellent at getting done what needs to be done. Keep up the good work mate! Definately leading by example.

We rented a home that was managed by PEKA and found them to be quick in responding to any concerns we had and always took our concerns seriously. They are upfront about their expectations as they shared cleaning and maintenance information with us when we moved in. Mark was amazing to deal with he always responded quickly and treated us with kindness and respect. We had no issues getting our damage deposit back but we did clean very, very thoroughly following Peka’s cleaning list.

On Saturday, September 25th, I noticed a pool of water in our parkade at Creekstone coming from a leak in an overhead water line. I placed a call to the PEKA emergency line, which was answered immediately by Jan Pedersen in a very professional, polite manner. Understanding the urgency of the situation, Jan quickly and efficiently called Banff Plumbing to repair the leak within the hour. I was also very impressed with her follow up to ensure the call was handled. Kudos to Jan!

The communication standard at PEKA is awful. Upon move-in and move-out I found myself having to follow up with their employees several times (often 3-4 times) for assistance answering my questions and to confirm move-in / move-out inspection times. Bounced around multiple people within the organization, no out of office contact information. This just causes added stress and frustration to an already stressful time. Overall, pretty poor customer service.

We have greatly appreciated the peace of mind that PEKA created for us over these past five years as first-time landlords! PEKA found us great tenants who really took care of our condo and it was great to have someone local available to assist tenants with any issues. It has been great to work with Ray and the PEKA team.

During the 3 years that I used PEKA to manage my condo rental in Canmore, the service I received from the company and Mark Walker, in particular, was absolutely exceptional and beyond my expectations. They took care of every little detail and made my experience as a landlord simple and stress free.

Ray Langlois responded to all our questions in a timely and professional manner. His emails were positive and courteous. We had a minor plumbing problem in the unit we rented for a month, and he ensured that a plumber attended and took care of the issue promptly. We have recommended PEKA to our friends.

June 24,2021- I just recently sold a property that Peka has managed for over 10 years, every year of service was exceptional and due to the excellent service and care of my property, the property was in great shape to sell this year. I want to say a big thanks to the Peka team! To me they are the only property management company I would use in Canmore.

Their team goes well beyond what I expected and they are extremely proactive, personable and professional. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting quality and attentive service. International travelers beware. PEKA charged a $4000 cancellation fee for a lease when I couldn't get to the property due to COVID border closure. Even the Canadian government was advising against travel. Last year, they worked with me to reschedule the lease for this year. This year I was told that the million dollar home owner needed to make up for last year's losses. During the pandemic, we never expected any cancellation fees imposed. With COVID variants, border closures may be a regular event in Canada. If you book with PEKA, be sure to have your attorney review the lease first or go with a provider that has a more flexible COVID cancellation policy. Shame on you. We were good customers and we would have rented yearly.

We signed a one year lease but due to unforeseen circumstances had to vacate early with very limited notice. Mark and his team were extremely responsive and within 48 hours had prospective tenants. This was a tremendous relief! Moreover, during our tenancy we were supported with any issues; from a new TV being replaced to a bathroom fan or even a lightbulb. Great service from great people, and we will miss our beautiful, albeit temporary home in Canmore.

PEKA has managed our condo for the past 20 years. We have been pleased with their performance, arranging for renters and helping with recommendations when appliances needed to be replaced. All tenants have been wonderful. At the end of October, 2020, the renter left the condo, giving us the chance to do some renovations. Ashley, from PEKA, has been fabulous. She has arranged quotes for flooring, painting and plumbing, going the extra mile in response to all of our questions. Although not a designer, Ashley has been so helpful with various suggestions that will enhance our unit. We could never have managed the renovations without Ashley's help. She has excelled in every way!

A true test of professionalism and integrity can be found during challenging circumstances. Both as a property owner employing Peka to manage our property and as a tenant within a Peka managed property, these past two years we have received nothing but exceptional service from Mark and his team, we would not hesitate to recommend to both property owners and tenants.

TERRIBLE, actually. Peka made 2 tempts to raise the rent on us WITHOUT the home-owners request, k or approval BUT b/c we asked the home-owner about the "surprise increase" (AND of course JUST as Peka wanted us to sign a renewal for another year!) The owner quickly called Peka and told them NOT to raise the rent. Peka ALSO entered our rental home WITHOUT giving us proper notice AND without our knowledge. Until I saw the business card they left on the counter. This is of course a violation of the tennant/landlord act BUT what can you do. Peka IS a monopoly in Canmore and they SURE behave that way too. They CONSTANTLY sent us letters about watering the lawn, however (and more importantly) the home OWNER didn't want town water wasted on "dead earth". We otherwise kept the property immaculate. I also dealt with the "ways of Peka" a dozen years earlier, and they were terrible then too. So in THIS instance: Nothing gets better with time.
The owner sold the home we had been renting for 5 years, so we left town. Dealing with Peka WITHOUT the advantage of the great home-owner we had, isn't worth a single minute of ANY renters life. And OF the two homes I've owned, I'd NEVER put them into a rental pool with Peka. So they fail hard on both sides of the coin.

Myself and a few friends rented a property from Peka for just over a year. Tonia Medina was the Associate who managed the property we rented and she was extremely helpful. She always replied quickly to any questions or concerns we had as tenants. In addition to helping with upkeep of the house during our lease, she also went above and beyond in assisting with out move out. She really is a pro. Thanks Tonia!

We have owned our resort property in Canmore for the last 10+ years. PEKA took over in 2012 and Becki has been with us since then. She is extremely well versed and can answer any questions we throw at her and I've been trying to find tricky ones to stump her too. Recently we've been looking at buying another condo in Calgary that is managed by PEKA and we were sad to learn that Becki doesn't manage any of them, but she reassured us that whomever we get will be just as good. It's a high bar she's set though, so we shall see. Overall, an amazing company and we recommend them to everyone.

As part of my job, I deal with a lot of property management companies. When I first started calling PEKA, all I would get is voicemail after voicemail. No return calls. It was extremely frustrating. Caitlin, the lady answering the phones was phenomenal. She went above and beyond trying to find someone that could help me. I eventually got put through to Becky, who doesn't actually work with the property I was inquiring about, but managed to help me nonetheless. Huge shout out to them. To the property manager and her assistant who did not answer my calls or return the messages, please take lessons on how customer service is supposed to work as you seem to be lacking in those areas.

I've worked with a lot of management companies during my years of being a condo owner and can honestly say the service provided by provided by PEKA is refreshing. Becki is always willing to assist and keeps updates flowing smoothly. Emails are always answered promptly and professionally. The lady at the front desk I talk to is always so friendly too. Overall just an excellent company to deal with. Thank you!
