Do not buy there earrings with stones. After the third wear, the stone fell out of earrings. After complain, I was asked to pay an amount that was higher than earrings. You don’t need insurance when the product was wrongly made, because you trust the sales person, who represents the company and ensures you about quality. Not any more.
Very low quality of jewelry. Be aware.

Once they have your money - they stop caring.
I am extremely disappointing at the level of customer care I received from not only this store location, but this company in general. After spending several thousands of dollars on an engagement ring and a $400 necklace - I honestly expected them to show some level of caring when I returned 41 days after the necklace had been worn - the chain had broken, and the rosegold plating on the pendant had completely worn off and the pendant was stainless steel. Instead I was met with a large annoyed sigh, and told that they only cover their products for 60 days - the necklace had been worn for 41, and the remaining days were due to their warehouse shipping delay which I had the proof of with the receipt from the day I came to pick it up in store. They refused to do anything other than offer to send it out to be repaired - BUT AT MY COST. Not only would I have to pay for a new chain, but I would have to pay to have the rosegold plated again. Oh, and pay the shipping costs to and from their Toronto repair centre. This was not some cheap $40 necklace, but rather a $400 necklace that had been worn for 41 days. I am appalled at the complete lack of pride they take in the quality of the products they sell. Their employees are too busy gossiping about other staff members, and treat you like an inconvenience for simply walking into this store. Do better Peoples.

The individual that helped me with my cleaning was very friendly and insured I was informed about the wear and tear of the material of my jewelry. He was very quick to help me and kept a shining smile the whole time. Very happy with my service today!

You need to work better at customer service. Just acknowledging a customer when they come in with a "Hello, I'll be with you on just a moment" (goes a long way) rather then just being ignored and having a sales person walk right past me to help someone else that just came in the store is frustrating.

Bronwyn was extremely professional and courteous throughout the entire experience. She answered all of my questions. I felt very comfortable speaking with her and she made the whole process very smooth and easy.

Overall, my experience was amazing and I definitely recommend Bronwyn everyone. She was respectful, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect piece of jewelry for my special occasion.

I was shopping for a wedding band here and received terrible customer service. The sales associate treated me like I was very much inconveniencing her. I didn’t fully look at the selection because I felt uncomfortable. I will not shop here again.

I took three of my wife's rings in to get resized. First, I took her birthstone ring in and got it resized for $98. They don't do repairs onsite so had to send it away. They said it would take 2 weeks. 3.5 weeks later it was ready and I picked it up. It was done properly. At that time I dropped off her other two rings. A week later I got a call from them saying it would cost $480 (for two).

I questioned why and the man told me it would cost more because the rings were cut off. I said that I brought in a ring a few weeks ago in the same condition and it was cut off as well. He said he could give me 10% off that price. I said no thanks, and please have them sent back so I can resize them elsewhere.

It took another week for them to come back. When I was in the store I asked him to break down the increased pricing, and he gave me a load of bull. Extra charge because it was cut off, extra charge for reshaping, extra charge for polishing, etc. He then proceeded to tell me they undercharged for the first ring I had brought in and it should have cost an extra $59. I said even with an extra $59 plus $98 that still doesn't add up to what he was going to charge me with the "discount". I was then asked if I wanted to replace the rings and purchase new ones!

I said no thank you, I'm going across the hall to get it repaired at your competitors. I've always purchased my Jewlery at peoples for 20 plus years and will never go there again due to this experience.

I went across the hall to Prestige and had the two rings resized and polished for $199 taxes included. They did it onsite, and I had the repairs completed within a week.

Don't go to People's for repairs. It's overpriced and you have to wait weeks for it to be done.

I went in looking for a sapphire bracelet. The staff member seemed disinterested and dismissive. There was 1 in first display case. She put no effort in to show me anything else. Just walked away from me and started chatting with a friend. I guess making a sale isn't a priority at People's. So sad, it used to be a decent place.

The staff at People's are fabulous! Jenny helped me buy the engagement ring and then helped us purchase our wedding rings and she was great.
Once you get on their mailing list, you will receive amazing specials and deals which are hard to beat.so we buy more jewelry!)

Took my engagement ring in to have it sent out for a minor repair. Sketchy business going on at this location. The man working today didn't want to take photos of the diamond and didn't want to send the photos to us which goes against their policy which is in place to ensure that we get MY diamond back and not something else. He didnt want to certify the diamonds in my ring which also goes against their store policy. My fiance was so uncomfortable with how this man handled my ring that he made the guy put it in the safe before we left. This guy had to be forced by my Fiance to do his JOB. This sales guy made the situation feel extremely unsafe and sketchy. I will be throughly checking my ring when I get it back and ensuring all the diamonds are checked before we leave.

My experience here was nothing short of phenomenal, and it’s all thanks to Gabby. I’ve had some poor experiences at jewellery stores so I was honestly nervous to come in to such a high end store, however Gabby didn’t make me feel out of place and went above and beyond expectations. I know it’s cliche to say “give this girl a raise, ” but I do believe it needs to be known that you’ve got an amazing employee and I will be coming back to purchase my jewellery from this store solely because of her incredible customer service. I would give 10 stars if I could, just based on my one experience. Thank you so much Gabby, I hope you get the recognition you so deserve!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Greeted me as soon as I was at the entrance and conducted all the proper fact-finding questions. The store is very clean and well-organized. The store has many beautiful jewelry products. Good warranties and easy financing. Overall, give you 5 out of 5!

I ordered a $400 necklace online from Peoples with a in-store pick-up. I ordered on December 26 and was told to come pick it up (by the live chat). I went to pick it up at Kingsway in Edmonton and the manager (Barb Smith - who was excellent btw) couldn't find it and called Customer Service to inquire. She was told that it was delivered and received by "someone". This was not true and now Peoples has launched an "investigation" to track this order down. Since then, I bought the identical necklace in-store and AM STILL AWAITING A REFUND. I was told that it would take several weeks to resolve this. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE and now makes me NEVER WANT TO ORDER ONLINE FROM PEOPLES AGAIN. FIX THIS PEOPLES!

BUYER BEWARE! Be sure to check that they are logging your jewelry maintenance. Huge SCAM! They hit you with outrageous fees and rates for work they should warranty. Tried to take 40% of total cost of jewellery for only a few small missing diamonds that they didn’t check. Once it was brought to their attention that they weren’t marking down regular maintenance visits, they immediately got rude and wanted more money! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM!

I have my wedding and anniversary bands from peoples and the service is always great when I come into WEM to get them re-sized or cleaned. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The only thing that sucks is how busy and loud this location is. Sometimes you have to wait a little bit to be served.

Absolute garbage company to buy jewelry from! They want to charge 3 times what the ring was worth to replace 1 teeny tiny diamond! My ring should be then worth 10 times that by that standard! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Complete scam in my eyes!

Horrible company! Had a ring from them and a diamond fell out and I had to get it replaced. Took 2 weeks to just get a quote and when I got the quote back they said to replace 1 tiny diamond it would cost $450! And take weeks to fix! Are you kidding me! If 1 diamond cost $450 to replace my ring would be well over $10,000! The ring was purchased for a couple thousand. Took the ring to Independent Jewelers and fixed it for way below that and it was done in house! WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

We had an initial interesting sales experience, the sales staff ignored us trying to get their attention in an empty store, until the nice ring cleaning lady got their attention for us.

However, when my fiancee went to pick up the newly sized ring, she was ignored, after stating she had to pick up her ring two female staff members didn't believe that she had a ring to pick up, despite proving all paper work and licensing documents. The condescending staff members continued to birade her about the legitimacy of her need to pick up a ring (mind you without checking for the ring name).

Upon seeing documentation again they forced her to write her Driver's license at the top of the merchant recipient, note that this is not justified and is against the Personal information and electronic documents act in Alberta, upon calling Tracy did claim that this was not normal policy for people's jewelers (though illegal in Alberta to copy, scan, or swipe IDs without an officer present) (no police were present in store). We have contacted The privacy commission about the violation.

Upon calling the store, the sales staff claimed they were rude and didn't believe her because "she looked young". Unacceptable and illegal behavior coming from this location, even under the suspicion of Freud there is no legal justification for copying a driver's license number. In all likelihood this was simply racial bias disguised as Freud prevention. Will never return to peoples for any Jewelery.

Would strongly recommend Prestige or Charmed both located in the mall, amazing service without any profiling or questionable activity. If you choose to use this location ensure you bring an older white male friend, as it appears that is the best means of finding service.

Iv been gettinf gifts from this store for 10 years and the service has always been perfect.
Idk why people are so rude and complaining.
I have had many pieces from this store.the warrenty is always worth getting and its pretty good. Unlimited resizing and cleaning. My ring has always come back from cleaning like a week or two EARLIERA THEN SAID DATE. People there are so professional and kv dealt with alot of different staff.
I encourage anyone to shop here and their engagment rings are gorgeous.

I was in the store last Saturday with my boyfriend. We were looking for an engagement ring.upon entering there are 3 jewelry assistant in the store.none of the three asked us if we need anything of any help. Disappointed with the customer service that they have.

Went looking for an engagement ring and had Tegan as our Sales Associate. She helped me narrow down the style that I liked because I was having a hard time deciding what I wanted. She stayed within my budget, went the extra mile, is super friendly, and patient. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend this place.

If I could give this store a zero I would. I was in the store Sunday afternoon Nov 25 2018. I walked through the store looking in all the ring cases with my phone out on their website looking for 2 rings I really liked and wanted to try on. After 5-6 min and like 3 laps around the store I was finally approached asking if I needed help. I advised her I was looking to try on 2 different rings I saw on the website. I gave her the product codes and she told me they did not have them in the store, when I asked her if they were in another store or if she could find out if they were she claimed she did not know and she moved on to help someone else, she couldn't even be bothered to ask if that was everything I needed. So I called the Kingsway Peoples Jewelers. The associate that answered the phone was super helpful. When I gave him the item codes he told me right away after pulling them up that they were only available online. So with that information at hand for him the associate from WEM Peoples could have 100% told me that. The associate at Kingsways also took the time to gave me 2 alternatives that were close to 1 of the rings that are in store and can come in and try on. I am so disappointed that the associate at WEM could NOT be bothered to give me her full attention and actually help me find a ring in store that would be close to what I was asking to see. Because of this treatment I will not be purchasing my engagement, wedding rings or any jewelry for that matter from WEM Peoples jewelers. Associates should be giving all customers the same kind of attention across the board no matter the price point or how they are dressed because in the end a sale is a sale. Thank you WEM People's Jewelers for absolutely NOTHING!

EACH time I went into this store, at least 3 sales associates saw me but made no attempts to help me. No, they were not busy. One time the free sales associate was standing beside another sales associate who was helping a customer. He just stood there beside him chilling. I stood infront of him for at least 10 mins before he’s like can I help you. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Are you blind? GROSS. Nobody greets you either. Heck, they’re even oblivious someone’s in the store. Save yourself a headache and STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. I wish there was an option for zero stars because that’s what they deserve

I have bough a few things here and they have been great. Im a person that goes in in grubby clothes and i pick the person I want to deal with, i do that when i buy a vehicle as well then you dont get the the ones with attitude i find. I don't make eye contact with anyone I wait to see what the staff is like and I pick the one I want.wooks everytime.

The worst ever experience!
Fully disappointed with that service and quality!
Went there to buy earrings for my wife anniversary. I spent there over 2 hours. I purchased one, and while he pack it, he lost the lock for one of the earrings, he tried to find one matching, no luck, so he tried to screw on the wrong size one, screw up the threads and bends the stud. I was advised to go to another people’s to get another one. I took it as is, but my wife didn’t like that sh.so I returned it next day! Never again! Awful experience!

Unbelievably rude staff who for some reason have better things to do than help the customers. I went to your location and was turned away by a very rude staff member who in her words, “can’t do anything to help me”, when all I needed was her to check if a certain necklace was at any other store in Edmonton. She refused and told me it was not possible. Left the store and called a different location and the lovely lady there told me in less than 30 seconds where I could find it. Will never set foot in this store again. You guys could learn something about customer service from your other locations.

My husband purchased my ring in a People’s store in Kelowna but we travel here all the time to get our insurance renewed on it. They are always kind, fast and helpful especially since I’m never buying anything. Just get it inspected and cleaned/shined up. Also, as part of our insurance coverage if a diamond falls off my ring or a clasp were to break they fix it. I have lost two small diamonds from my ring and they have always handled it with care and good customer service. In fact I lost one right before my wedding. We are planning to have a photograph of mine and my husbands ring taking together and I didn’t want the diamond missing to be very obvious. So I talked with the manager and he went above and beyond to help us for a big day. If we sent the ring wait to be fixed, it wouldn’t be back in time for our big day. So the manager gave us a new ring in the same style and had it sized as it being much faster and ready in time. He went above and beyond and I would always recommend is great customer service!
