Peppino

One of my favorite destinations in Calgary. Jerry and Joe treat me like family. The food is outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I’ve been coming to Peppino for something like 15 years now. I genuinely think it’s one of the best sandwich places in Calgary and I never get tired of their sandwiches. They have a ton of different options on their menu as well. Favourites for me are the Joe’s Special and the Chicken Parmigiana.

I am visiting calgary from winnipeg and just recently was in italy and desperately have been looking for somewhere with real good italian food so i could relive the food heaven i was in, in italy. While walking around kensington i stumble apon this place and figured i would give it a try. Im so glad i did it was some of the best and most authentic food i have had since i have been back in canada. Highly recommend to anyone in calgary!

Amazing. You know it is a good sandwich shop when the construction workers are on a first name basis with the owners. They don't skimp on the meat. Did I mention all of their sandwiches are $11 or under?

Peppinos cannot be beat in terms of price or quality. Real Italian sandwiches made by real italians <3

One of the best sandwich places in downtown. This location and 17th ave location are both great. The gluten free bread option is way better than any other I have tried. Fresh meats and lots of different options available.

So many sandwiches to choose from. I had the Joe's Special, made by Joe.and my wife had the roasted red pepper chicken sandwich. Every sandwich I have tried has always been great! Try something new next time.

Our new favourite Italian deli, delicious sandwiches and the mozzarella tomato salad is WOW.

Love it here. They treat you like family every time you come in. Warms my heart. I usually get joes special and today I tried something different. All I had to do was say I wanted to try something new and they recommended the ragin Turkey. It was delicious!

Best lunch spot if you’re craving an Italian sub. Perfect place to sit down especially on a sunny day. Great food with lots of natural light makes for a perfect lunch.

I ordered 'The Surprise'. They ask you how spicy you want it and whip something up for you surprisingly quick. I'll definitely be back to try something else.

Great simple Italian sandwiches with no fancy toppings, fresh bread and just a lot of meat choices, add lettuce and condiments of your choosing like olive oil or mustard and you are good to go. Try the Joe's Special, the Classic and the Riches of Italy with bocconcini.so good. Friendly staff and reasonable pricing. There are also take home items if you desire good Italian food. Would recommend.

Many vegetarian opinions with few proteins to add. Great service and super people. 45 year old tree growing in the shop!

My favourite sandwich place in Calgary. I’ve been coming here regularly for over 10 years. Boccincini and Vatican Veggie are the best!

Delicious Italian subs, must try the roasted combo! Great family owned restaurant with authentic Italian grocery items and take home meals.

It was my first time at this location. I have recently had to go gluten free. I took the Italian sub. BEST SUBMARINE EVER!

My favourite sandwich shop for 20+ years. Now my daughter's favourite. Great selection of quality Italian import food (REAL balsamic vinegar di Modena!). Caring and hardworking staff. Always worth a visit and a "spicy surprise" sandwich. Grazie!

Love Peppino's, family run eat in or take out deli, they never let you down. Joe's special sandwich rocks and this homemade potato leek soup was down right delicious! Don't forget to pick-up some of their tasty homemade pasta, sauces etc. Two thumbs up!

Absolutely delicious! I've found my new go to sandwich shop. Amazing quality and fresh ingredients make these subs a must have.
