Was just in this location for the first time visiting this Brand! We had a miserable young woman serving us at the til.
She never greeted us or even make an attempt to say hi to my friendly corgi! Who dosent like corgis. She's in the wrong occupation!

I will definitely not be back! If thus was my business, she would no longer be there, sorry to say

Truly do not know how these reviews about friendly and helpful staff could possibly be for this location. Or I just happened to be unlucky to have stopped in when the same miserable woman is working. Rolling eyes at customers, acting like making a purchase at the register has completely put her out, just beyond rude service. We were excited when we moved into the neighborhood to have a place nearby but after receiving such continuously rude service, we will drive a bit further to go to a store that appreciates the business.

I have loved this store for years. Jim, the owner is amazing, he even delivered dog food to us when we were down with Covid. His staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and they have a great variety.

We moved to the Stonegate area in Airdrie recently and were very happy to have a Pet Planet that's walking distance from our house. The staff are very friendly and the store is always clean and well-maintained. They're always happy to give our dog free treats when he comes with us. My only gripe is that they don't have more stuff for bunnies (like hay, etc.)

Very kind people and they had a very cute kitten for adapting. Jack is found his home and we found our new family member.

The staff were extremely helpful when I came in looking for a new type of food for my senior cat.

The saleswoman was friendly, the store is easy to navigate, AND they had a super sweet cat available for adoption through Tails to Tell!

I have been a faithful Pet Planet customer since the Stonegate Drive location first opened in Airdrie. I appreciated the fair prices and the courteous and knowledgeable staff there.
In late November or early December, 2018, went into the store to make one of my usual purchases and was informed that Pet Planet was transitioning to a new computerized record keeping system and they needed my personal information, so they could re-enter it. Every time I made purchases there from that point on, I was asked for the same personal information, until early February of this year when they finally rectified the problem. Needless to say, I was concerned about the security of my personal information and whether the cumulative number of purchases I was making was being accurately tallied. I spoke with the manager, Jim, on two occasions about my issues and he offered me a free bag of dog food after my second conversation with him, which I declined.
I WILL NEVER DARKEN THE DOORWAY OF A PET PLANET STORE AGAIN, after the humiliating treatment that I received today. A customer was standing in line behind me as I was at the check-out counter waiting to pay for a bag of dog food, when JENN B asked me for my phone number. As soon as she opened my account, JENN B loudly stated; "MR. HANSON? " I replied, "yes. " JENN B then continued loudly; "YOU GOT TWO FREE BAGS OF DOG FOOD WHEN YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE! ONE IN FEBRUARY AND ONE IN MARCH! " I refuted her embarrassing accusation and explained the events as I recalled them. JENN B was loudly argumentative and continued to question my integrity and embarrass me in front of the other customer. I offered to pay for the dog food, she was accusing me of improperly acquiring.
Word of mouth advertising is the most effective form, so I will make sure and tell every pet owner that I encounter how I was treated by JENN B and Pet Planet on Stonegate Drive in Airdrie.

We exclusively get our pet's products from this location. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and help with making healthy decisions for our dog.

Great pet shop good selection of sll pet food and everything you probably need for your pet. The owner and staff very knowledgeable and helpful. They go out of there way to make surr you are satisfied. Good prices!

Great pet store. Just switched POS systems so you might not have your frequent purchase system information moving forward. Staff loves dogs and can make suggestions. No card to carry. Has an excellent wall of treats and chuck it balls. Will probably offer your animal a treat. Expect about 10 to 25 per item. Great place to spoil your pet. Migjt want to phone ahead if you have a more exotic pet. Seems to mostly cater to the cats and dogs crowd.

I have been buying pet food and supplies from this location for a long time and always recommend it. Great staff that are super friendly and they are super friendly with four legged visitors.
