As usual, the customer service is exceptional and staff at this location know their inventory very well. The Royal Canin selection is great.

I used the dog wash and they were very accommodating to me and my pup who takes quite a long time to wash and dry.

Visited this store after needing to evacuate from the NWT fire situation. All the staff were ready and willing to help us however they could, their compassion and concern for us and our pets was very much appreciated. They also gave us dog food, treats and coupons for dog washes all free of charge!

Great staff, friendly, patient and informative. I usually buy the blue buffalo brand dry cat food but after being told how it's full of fillers and I should try their store brand instead because it has no fillers, I switched to their store brand. It's more affordable. Store was clean and well organized making it easy to shop. They were out of the calming treats for cats but they showed me another option (I didn't go with the other option because it's a spray and cost about $30 vs the calming treats that are about $7)

Great place for a dog wash. Very confortable, they provide all supplies, and price is really fair. I Always go here, they even give treats for your dog

Great dog wash and excellent selection in store of anything you could possibly need for your furry family members. Staff always super nice

Took my daughter's golden retriever for a bath, she was given dog treats on her towel, when I asked about whether they had chicken as she is allergic, they said they did, but got her beef liver treats instead. There was a good selection of shampoos, as well as conditioner, we used the oat and honey with great results! The harness on the wall was nice, but I found it easier to wash her without. The sinks were a few steps up for the dogs, but luckily no mobility issues. The towels and air dryer were provided as well.

Our dog Lucy needed to cold off and she was do for a bath regardless. The facility was clean easily accessible, maybe the best self clean-wash place we ever visited. Next time will take some pictures

Used the self serve dog wash for the first time and it was anazing! Love having an option that is so much easier than at home!

I wish I was able to give this location a higher rating. I am not. I go here quite often and every time I go in there's either new staff or questions that can't be answered that are just with regards to inventory on the shelves. Much of the time that I go in here the beef Chompers are what I'm looking for and very rarely do I ever see the container that holds these full. There's usually only one or two left. Also I noticed that the prices at this location are a little higher than most. I really wish this location would offer a frequent customer rewards program. There are a few items where you need to buy 12 however if you change the size of the item you're buying you start all over again. Overall we'll go back but I'm leaning more towards the North Side location.

The staff here are welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. This is our go to location for toys and treats for our dogs and cats!

Early this evening, during their Seniors' Day, my puppy and I stopped into the St. Albert Pet Valu store. We were immediately greeted by Emily and Laura, with a friendly, warm welcome. You two make a great team.
They offered to assist me to locate what I was looking for. Within seconds, they handed me the very package I wanted. After the young ladies asked if my pet had any allergies, they requested permission to offer him a treat. I was interested to discover how much success they'd have with my little one, as he's a very fussy eater.
It took the 3rd sample before my boy devoured it with delight. Naturally, I was compelled to buy that treat in both available flavours. How thoughtful of you, Emily, for alerting me with the heads up, to store those packages in the refrigerator after opening.
Also, how kind of you for offering us the free samples. I'll be sure to pick up some of each on our next visit, as when we got home, our "tiny precious" immediately took to the food samples, enthusiastically knocking over his Kong, and also performing tricks to get to the "original snaps with turkey, sweet potato & cranberry".
I could elaborate further, but suffice to say that Emily and Laura made me and my pet feel like we were their most special customers! Thanks Emily, and you too, Laura, for making us feel so valued.

The girls were so attentive and friendly. Very knowledgeable about the products. They loved my dog.

I bought some cat treats and when I got to my car 1 minute later I noticed a small tear in the bottom of the bag, but they won’t exchange it. With many other pet stores nearby it won’t be hard for me to shop else where

They suggested a different raw food for my cats, which they loved more than their last brand.
I also can get my multi litter and gastrointestinal food for my other cat here. Perfect. Everything in one store.
