Pete the Plumber

Husband and I went into the showroom. The man there yelled at us, asked us what we were doing there, he was eating his lunch. We were shocked, we turned around and left. Very bad attitude, very poor customer care and service. We drove into Calgary from Strathmore. We will never go back there again. We have found other plumbing places to go to and they have been great, and are happy to have our business.

Water tank replacement and installation, unsafe install. Gas leak found at the connection to the new unit. Had to call company to send another technician. Could have been a very serious issue, explosion or fire and fatalities. Without apology they responded to the post saying they were glad to resolve the issue. Stay safe, use another service with pride in their work.

We got a new electrical panel and other electrical work done. Justin and Kyla were on time, got the work done efficiently and seemed like great people. We had a couple of small changes to make to the original call that were easily accommodated - it will be an easy call to get them back in the spring for the next phase of our renos.

Had our hot water tank replaced today after 25 years of service from the old one! Very impressed with the quality of service, workmanship and excellent price. Joe removed the old one and installed a new shut off valve then replaced the tank with a new one. 10 year warranty. Very happy and have no hesitation in recommending Pete the Plumber and Joe was friendly, efficient and courteous. Thank you!

Our AC stopped blowing air inside the house earlier this week, called Pete the Plumber for an appt and was able to get service the next day. Brad our technician was able to come mid-morning rather than our appointment time of late afternoon which was an added bonus. When Brad arrived it only took him a short time to determine it was a dead motor in the furnace, had a new motor ordered and made an appt the following week for install. Now here's the kicker, Brad phoned later that day that he could come by later afternoon to do the install that day which was actually our original appointment as he had the part and would be able to do it the same day Awesome. Brad was absolutely an awesome tech to deal with the whole day, professional, courteous, personable and had answers to all our questions. Pete the Plumber is very lucky to have such an excellent employee as Brad. We installed our new Furnace, AC, and Water Heater previously with Pete and the service since has been excellent. Once again Thank You to Brad and Pete the Plumber!

Called to book appointment for a new hot water tank and they came in two days and Jacob did a fantastic job.

Stay away from these guys at all costs! Technicians are rude and customer service doesn't even care about your complaints!

Today we had a water softener, hot water tank and a new air conditioner unit installed by Doug and bobby. From initial contact with the main office to the estimate, to the install we have been impressed at every stage. Quality of install was great and Doug was very good and patient while answering our questions. We would definitely recommend Pete the Plumber. Thanks so much guys!

We had a plugged kitchen sink drain and we called the emergency number and got Jerry on call. We said it wasn't an emergency and he said he could come by the next day. Jerry showed up earlier then we expected and listened to everything we said about when it happened 6 years ago. (Pete The Plumber fixed it then). Jerry came in and got the job done in record time and did a great clean-up.

Joe was something else! I had an emergency, like a 5 alarm emergency and he came to the rescue. We talked about options for a solution and being the DIYer I am, he was able walk me through how to turn off my shower, what parts were what and what I needed to fix the problem. He was AWESOME! Very professional and changed out leaking hot water tank and replaced with a new one. Quick, took extra care to protect our home from further mess or damage from old leaky tank. Would highly recommend.

No one did contact us in regards to my original review posted.

My husband and I hired an electrician to come install our outdoor security camera on the side of the house on December 21,2022. My husband had taken the day off expecting that the camera would have been installed that day. Instead the electrician came and told us the approx.cost, told us he didn't have the supplies available to do the job and that he would have to make a trip to Home Depot, and if he had to go to Home Depot to get supplies he would charge us his time. Which makes absolutely no sense because when you hire someone to come do a job you would expect that person to have all the necessary tools and supplies, and not to be charged extra for him having to get the necessary tools to do the job. We told him that we didn't want to incur the unnecessary extra charges for him to acquire the tools for him to do the job so we rescheduled. He reschedule a week later when we had the cold snap, which we did bring up, but he advised us it was ok and he could work in the cold. He came and hooked up the camera, but my husband wasn't home as he took the 21st off when we had initially booked our appointment so he couldn't test the camera until he had come home from work. Oh and let me add that he didn't have the necessary tools this time either and that he had to goto Home Depot and grab something, but oddly enough we didn't get charged for his Home Depot run this time. When my husband came home from work, the camera wasn't working so we had to call the electrician back for a THIRD time. Well this time not sure what happened but the electrician dropped the camera and the prongs broke on our camera, so he advised us that he would come on his own time to install the camera. We didn't want him back a forth time so when we got our new camera my husband just hooked it up himself.

I would not recommend this company for electrical work. Will not use Pete the Electrician again.

I had to get a service from Pete the Plumber today for clogged sewer drain. Price was reasonable and our technician Vik was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I strongly recommend Pete the Plumber.

Eric was an absolute beauty, not only was he an amazing guy, but he knew what our problems was right away! He was able to get heat to our house within the day! Our house was at 13 degrees, so he is a real life saver! Thanks again Eric!

Eric was out to take a look at my furnace for annul servicing, he was very professional and went into details on what some of the short term repairs that may come up. Professional and great service.

This Electrician Cliff was a pretty smart guy, put a new LED fixture right inside our old one so we could keep the old school look while getting a new LED modern lighting in the kitchen.thinking out side the box is what a pro does to fix a unique problem.way to go Cliff Love the fix.keep up the great work.

My water heater died and I had to get it replaced. I would give 4.5 stars for this because it took a week for them to come out. I suspect more people had water heaters break and this was why there was a delay. The team that came was quick and efficient. They were in and out in under two hours. They were pleasure to deal with

I like Pete the Plumber because they were very responsive to my plumbing issues! The technicians arrived on time and fixed the issue very efficiently. The cost was reasonable! I certainly will recommend to my family and friends!

Huge shout out to Doug Boyd and crew My furnace gave its final good bye and I needed a new furnace. I have used Pete the Plumber in the past for a new water heater And had no doubt that they could step up and provide me with a new furnace install One call and I got my estimate I was more than happy with my quote Other estimates I had could not compare to what Pete had offered I would highly recommend this business and have to my neighbors and friends. The after-sales service is extremely poor with very low efficiency. I don't even want to give them one star

We had Eric C come out this morning and check our furnace and he was excellent. Eric explained everything to us and was very thorough. We are totally satisfied with the with his work and professionalism. We would definitely recommend them for any future projects. Denise

Eric did a wonderful job fixing our issue! He was quick, polite and professional. In addition he helped me source a better provider for my furnace air filters. Every time we have called Pete the Plumber we have received good service. Highly recommend them for your plumbing and heating needs!
