Always great service by the staff and they always have what I need. From cat food to food for my bearded dragon

I went with a friend to pick up a guinea pig. They were very helpful but not too knowledgeable about their wifi password for the guest wifi.lol

I get my animal toys from here and always have to visit the animals, birds, and fish! The staff are friendly and helpful. My kid always takes her time while we are there so she can say hi to all the creatures.

Petland staff are happy to help you. Truly happy. They will offer help at any time, and are more than happy to spend the time to offer information on any specific animal, food, accessory, or service. They provide brochures and printouts if you need additional information.
We always go here for our pet supplies. I recommend you do as well.

They provide good service and product. I would hope they would offer carry out service to car if I was not there with my elderly friend.
I've found them to be very helpful finding impeller replacement parts for my pond pumps. Although they don't display what they have, they still have a lot of pond and waterfall supplies.

They have quite a selection of different animals. The staff are nice, knowledgeable and helpful.

Staff is very knowledgeable on what to get for a pet (food, bedding, etc.) The staff was also very kind.

Painful lack of fish available even if it is before a new shipment, it was obvious some of those tanks didn't have anything in them and hadn't for a while and the same old boring selection for 13 freaking years.

Was quite unimpressed with male manager, more concerned with an arbitrary rule than making a sale and pleasing a long time customer. If you would allowed me to save a whole $1.50-$2.00 you would have made a$40-$50 sale, instead I walked out and your store got, well.nothing. A little consideration means everything to me.

Fish conditioners, medications and many Foods significantly overpriced.

Store was clean and staff friendly enough although I noticed several new faces since my last visit.

Used to shop here, but called to ask a question and the employee started bad mouthing other pet stores in town.very unprofessional, especially since this Petland is by NO means a well run store, but i supported them anyway, until now. Were all here to support one another and I wont be back for this reason.

I always pop in to purchase a few toys for my animals, a must when I live in the UK & I have to sweeten them up for being away on vacation!

A great place to come for fish, small pets and pet supplies of all kinds. The staff here is always so friendly! They are constantly getting new supplies and products. I love coming here to see the guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets and birds.

They are a bit pricy but have everything I need for my guinea pigs, cats and dogs. They have the biggest selection of guinea pig treats and food.

Eh, I had to pay for pest snails and wasn't made aware that they cost money until after they were already bagged up so like that wasn't cool but like they had pea puffers so that was cool. Petsmart never has pea puffers.

Waited in line for almost an hour.nobody there knew how to run the dog tag machine or till.should really open another till and hire more staff

I normally have a pleasant experience when i shop. I shop for my beardie and bunny and the pet sales associates are pretty honest and try and to help as best as their knowledge. If you have an animal that is NOT a cat or dog, petland has all the little knick knacks for all other animals unlike homes alive. Above all, associates are personable. Thanks for being my go to pet store

This is my favorite pet store in town. They have a wide selection of animals, and they appear to really care about them. Their prices are good too. If you're lucky, you'll spot a bird in the store!

I wish that they would stop selling baby animals and switch to helping rescues place needy ones.

Got an aquarium and fish there. Oddly when one of our kids went there to get another fish they suggested a shark and said it wouldn’t be territorial. The internet doesn’t agree with this description but time will tell.

Absolutely HORRIBLE company! We found baby hampsters in there trash cans that they threw away along with the hampsters items. Absolutely disgusting! Left them in the trash can to die and starve to death. Whatever you do, stay far away from

Employees were so nice! They also had a pride sale which made me super happy. If I lived in Lethbridge I would be here all the time.

Excellent staff. Very enthused about us getting a cat and very helpful with explaining the basic things we need. Did not try to upsell and was honest about poor quality items when applicable. Great!

Okay experience. Got most of what I needed. Glad there is grab treats for dogs near the check out.

Some of the staff could use a little social/scientific education; preferrably before they yell absolute absurdities at customers from across the store again.

Not a bad pet store, but not overly smart management. I won't be back - after several purchases there - simply because of their dead-fish replacement policy. They lost a customer over a $5 fish.

Well done! More of a personal feel. Ray fish have names and they have a set up to "donate" fish to a family who can't afford, but only if they receive "donated" fish, so now you know how to bless others with those extra fish in your tank.

The conditions the animals are living in are horrifying. Have seen dead animals left in cages along with live ones, dirty cages, sick animals. The staff gave me false information about which fish would be able to coexist with crayfish and ended up costing me over 20$ cause the fish were all eaten the next day. When I went back to complain they didn't even apologize or seem to care about how they misinformed me. Definitely overpriced, can buy exact same products for half the price at most other stores

I have been a customer at this store for quite some time. I have enjoyed the past employees as well as some of the current. I WILL WARN YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THE LADY WITH THE ALL GREEN HAIR! She knows absolutely nothing about fish and has lied to me about several different things. She even told me that they don't sell aquatic plants at the store, which they do. She is the plague to this store, and I will not be shopping here if I see her working there. I warn all fish people to stay away from her. She knows nothing, and will do nothing to help you or your aquarium. If you don't know something I respect that and I am willing to explain as well as show you, but to lie to me flat out is another. I have no respect for people like that, and I strongly hope the owner realizes that she is not an asset to the store.

Always welcomed and very friendly staff that are attentive to their customers. When I have questions about my dog's food, or the best type of accessory, they always go out of their way to answer my questions accurately.

First time purchasing fish here after months of dealing with dead or diseased fish and not very knowledgeable staff at PetSmart. Parker at PetLand was very helpful and gave us tips for our aquarium and our fish. We will be driving the extra distance to PetLand from now on and spending our time and money on fish that are actually healthy and lively and not dying. Thank you PetLand staff!

We came here to buy our goldfish once, after trying at PetSmart many times. At PetSmart, the fish were dying, diseased, and lethargic, and therefore left us with no choice but to bring the healthiest diseased fish home and help it fight. After going to pick up our 3rd fish of the week (having the first 2 had died), we saw all the fish in the tank of Black Moor Goldfish were diseased, dead, or lazy. We went and drove 15 minutes to PetLand and were immediately greeted and helped out with service and many tips on how to help our fish. 5 stars to PetLand, and to Parker who helped us out.

Weird how all of the pets had grates over top of the pens. Definitely not normal when I think of the Petlands on the west coast. Also I don't know if they were renovating but there were boxes everywhere and it looked like a complete mess.

Come to help quickly good management, good and cleaned animals and cages my big frog likes the crickets from there the best because they even take care of them.

Costumer service was lacking, and when I finally got help the lady was rude and I didn't feel welcome, now I only come here for pet food bc if u ask for fish they will ignore u most of the time

Kind of dislike the way betta fish are kept, they look very unhealthy, I understand why but there must be a better tank option. Female betta can usually be kept in a sorority, but yes males do need separation.

Store is always clean and has great variety but both times I have ordered online to pick up at store, order was missing or wrong.

Associate in the fish section was extremely helpful, he knew what I was looking for and gave me the best information. Extremely impressed with his performance.

Have had positive and negative experiences here, the last being the most negative and the reason I won't return. I have found Petland to be more expensive than other pet stores in town, they promote inadequate cage/tank sizes, and overall, I've found the staff to be uninformed on proper small pet husbandry. The last experience I had (~1 year ago) consisted of witnessing very unkind (borderline cruel) treatment towards a rabbit with red eyes from a staff member. We decided to take the rabbit home with us. The staff member proceeded to give us completely inaccurate handling and feeding recommendations, not only suggesting unsafe handling techniques, but really pushed us to buy an alfalfa based diet when the rabbit was over a year old already (alfalfa is for babies, it's high in fat, whereas timothy based diets are for adults). Ultimately, the staff member put him in a box with 1 pencil-sized hole for air and then she taped the top shut. THOROUGHLY unimpressed, to put it politely, and I sincerely hope that that staff member was fired (and I do not say that lightly).

I don't like the fact that they advertise smaller than healthy tanks for their betta fish, and keep them in tiny containers with nothing inside to provide any stimulation to the poor things, not to mention they were all sitting in old yellowed water. I try to avoid pet stores that don't put enough effort into taking care of all their animals even the small ones. And that effort includes doing research about a breed and housing it/educating customers about it properly. All it takes is a trip to Wikipedia or any website about fish keeping to figure out that they do not do well in small tanks contrary to popular belief. It doesn't give me much faith about the way the rest of their animals are treated

I love this place. They are kid friendly and you get to hold or pet the animals. Staff is friendly and helpful too.

Lots of selection, staff member I asked for help didn't know what I was looking for. I found it later online and returned to the store to buy it.

Very knowledgeable staff that actually cares about animals. Best place in town to get real advice and great pet supplies and/or pets.
