I spoke to someone named Kyle on the phone inquiring about an animal in stock, he was sooo sweet and helpful and seemed really bubbly and personable! 5 stars for Kyle and how friendly the staff always are at this location

I only use them for crickets for my leopard gecko. They get regular stock on Wednesday afternoon and it's pretty reliable. The staff is nice the store is clean and the animals look healthy. I used to get waxworms there as well but between the price and lack of living ones I have since gone elsewhere.

I love petland I attempted to go to petsmart last month. I was told my dogs nails are "to long" "i may have to get it done at the vet. " They have never failed to get it done. They actually cut her nails a week later. I appreciate the effort petsmart put in, but petland gets results. Deerfoot meadow and l30th have are my freaking heros. I'll be buying from them.

Been sold sick of half alive fish over 6 times. They over price there fish too. Go to PetSmart, good prices and they sell you healthy fish. Pet land also takes away your return policy if something happens for so many stupid reasons, told them my goldfish was living w 2 African dwarf frogs in a 30 Gal and she said that I can no longer have the return policy. Go to petsmart and say the same thing and they say “ yea that okay, frogs sometimes make good friends for goldfish” which is exactly what I read online and why I decided to get a gold fish. Pet land has a good selection, but the fish they sell are not healthy

Poor, poor service! Every time I go in. Whole bunch of employee’s standing around talking. Then they have the nerve to ask “did anyone help you today” no, no they didn’t. They never EVER do.

Just bought a xl kennel a big bag of food and some toys and bowls etc for a new puppy. I went in, bought everything. That was murder! Put it all aside. So she can pick it up (i was in an accident and don’t get around real well) no body even asked if she needed a hand out.

Horrible place to shop! Must need new management or something.

Literally everyone working here is so nice the manager is amazing and helps me every time I come! Tiana one of the associates is so great I’m pregnant and she ran up to me to grab my big bag of litter because she saw me struggling I really appreciate everyone here thanks so much!

I've never liked the Petland model and even when trying to give it another chance years later (in another province) I am met with the same depressing store layout and staff culture. Hoping (for the animals and patrons) that Petland gets more excited about animals and their importance to humans. It seems like the animals are just a commodity to this store.

Excellent staff and store! Although once in a while, the bunnies are subjected to very bad living conditions and are mauled and
Mishandled by touchy patrons who have zero knowledge of bunny care and handling.

This is a place you go if you need to feel joy. Everyone is always smiling and kind. It is a great store with a large selection of per supplies for any animals you may have.and they adopt some animals as well.

Carson who assisted me to look at cat condos was very helpful. I maybe back tomorrow to buy one of the two, I told him I wanted. He suggested to put 1 on hold, but I need check a few more places see whats out there first then Ill be back tomorrow morning. Its his day off, but he helped me choose. Great customer service!

Went in to grab some stuff for my bird and the staff were very friendly, and knowledgable on what I needed

It's convenient and has everything you need, and things you don't need but end up leaving with anyways.

Love that the hours are longer than most other pet stores - not much in the way of help when it comes to staff

Alysha was very helpful with helping us decide what dog food to buy for our mini Dachshunds. Very knowledgeable and cheerful!

My kids love coming here. Unfortunately Covid-19 has made it a lot less fun. No more petting the animals

Extremely neat and tidy place. Wanted to test aquarium water. The person who helped us was so friendly and gave us so many suggestions.

I will never be a fan of Pet Land. They get puppies from mills. Owners only care about making money. Animal health is last on their list.

They were so helpful in helping us find everything we needed for our new puppy! Brie, was amazing, she walked us through everything and gave us lots of information!

It is Ok and you have to be careful with the deals, as they will give discount based on the regular price and not based on you see marked in bold

Had an interview there today. I've been a frequent shopper at Petland, but I think now I am a forever shopper. Learned a ton today, and gained a bunch more respect for Petland too. Great company, and awesome employees!

Has questions, got very thorough answers and when the young lady did know about one product. She quickly got someone who did. In stead of giving miss leading or no answers.

Petland is a great place to shop for your favourite pet. They have everything that you would need and things that you probably haven't thought about.

With finances tight I truly appreciate the senior discount day once a month! My fur baby is taken care of cuz of this day! Thank you Petland.

There are rather friendly, helpful staff working at this location compared to some other locations but more specifically compared to other big name pet stores in the city.

Amazing staff and good care of their animals!

The reptile department is always friendly and knowledgeable, they had a leopard gecko starter kit for 200$ which was both an amazing cost and included everything! They had all the proper equipment included and it surprised me how well thought out it was.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and products they have there. Also the animals are super cute and very cuddly

I went into petland today looking for a replacement fish tank. The tanks were dispersed throughout 3 different aisle and a back wall. I had a hard time trying to find what I was looking for. Pricing for each tank was atleast 10-20% higher than comparable products at Petsmart. I ended up leaving the store 10 min later, without buying anything and without being asked if I needed a hand by a staff member. This was my second visit to this location and the first visit was no better. I will definately continue to shop at Petsmart over Petland on 130th Ave.

I go there with my children often for them to interact with the animals. We bought our hamster from there. The staff is knowledgable, very helpful and it is obvious they truly care about the animals.
It is always an good and uplifting experience to visit this store.

I love leaving my kids here while I'm having an affair. Only down side is that when I leave them there too long they get my kids to phone me.
