Petland Manning

Recently went here and was disappointed, you can't ask them any questions or they just get anoyed and treat you rudly. I just wanted to get something particular but I guess not. If you are okay with no help, this place will be fine.

Great Selection for cat food and toys! The girl with short brown hair who helped us was so sweet and friendly!

Staff were very friendly. One gentleman in particular made my day and made my kids smile. He helped us with fish. Then proceeded to teach them about the reptiles. Even gave my 3 year old a bag of water to carry as he was upset that he couldn't carry the fish! He followed the kids through the store and even got them a bunny to pet. Absolutley amazing staff member who loves his job!

I don't go to pet stores often but my friend has a dog I love to spoil. The staff have been extremely helpful finding things, on more than one occasion. I also had eye surgery and had trouble reading labels the last few months and, again, staff were very helpful.

We had an EXCELLENT experience at this petland last night. We brought our 1.5 yr old baby to the store to get her a fish (she's obsessed with "fishies") and the staff here were so patient and kind with her. One of the staff members noticed my daughter was gleaming at the hamsters, so they dropped what they were doing, and came over and found the littlest hamster babies and brought them out and showed her how to pet/ hold one! She was estatic! Thank you for showing such compassion and love to absolute strangers! Really made a possitive impact on us!

It was a great pet store! I saw a lot of trusted brands and they even have other interesting pet products as well. I had a nice time shopping and got a few snacks for my cats. I was also planning to purchase a cat tower/tree but I can't afford it yet but I would definitely come back here again to buy one.

Useless and over priced, management decided shortly after opening the store to double the price of feeder fish because he was getting upset people were buying so many of them, kinda strange for a store thats here to sell stuff? !
Plus I have wandered the store for almost 25 min and everyone has ignored me and they do not carry any real fluval maintenance products.
Off to PetSmart now….

I usually find no issue whenever I go to this Petland location, however when I went there 20 mins before they close, Emily (one of the workers) was very passive aggressive towards me, as well as my mom, as soon as we walked through the doors. She didn't seem to act this way to all the other people who were coming in after us, which was very weird. When she was checking us out at the till, she seemed very irritated by our presence and talked to us like we were incompetent. Emily showed zero respect, zero professionalism, and a lack of good customer service. As a current retail worker, a staff member who treats their customers in the same way Emily did, would get fired in no time at all.

One of my favorite places to go! They even have room to pet cats. I love how knowledgeable the staff are and the opportunities to learn more about the animals.

This is the second time. Manager not helpful, doesn't give you any other option, made you feel like you are not capable of taking care of birds, just because u wanted to surrender a bird or couple of the birds you bought earlier. They also call it "adaption" even though they're making you pay for it.

Found some bacon strips for my boy. Sizzlers by Blue Buffalo. I really love the sales representatives attire. Fun place.

Had a great experience here picking out a hamster. I specifically went with Petland for this, as their small animals are in open aquariums that allow the animals to be handled by staff and customers alike. This meant that my new furbaby is already used to being touched and handled, and isn't scared of humans (and thus, not a biter). I'm glad that this location has all females (something I didn't know pet stores did, but is cool, though of course not guaranteed) as I specifically wanted a girl.
Kendal was fantastic in her customer service, knowledge, and caring when it came to the hamsters, which I really appreciated. She made sure I knew what to expect, what to do in case the worst happened, and made sure I knew there was help should I need it. I love that Petland treats all small animals as well as their larger animals.
Being real, the little furball cost me three times as much as it would have going to the competitor. But, I now have a companion who is already tame, and even climbs into my hand when I call her. Wouldn't change a thing about my experience. Thanks Petland, and Kendal!

The staff here are knowledgeable and friendly. I'll purposely go to this one over the one by my work.

Today i went in and spoke to Chelsey in the fish department.i asked her if they had something in stock and she was incredibly short and seemingly snarky with me and seemed like she’d rather re-organize the bettas than assist me.i’ll be taking my business elsewhere because of this as i know there is better customer service in the city.

Tony was such an amazing help! I came in looking for new food for my puppy as he developed an allergy and she was very informative and able to recommend many options for me. My experience with her was one of the best I've had at a pet store.
Other times I've been in there Carole was also really sweet and helpful!
Love the staff here, excellent customer service.

It was nice and clean. Lots of selection. I like the bulk treats available. The customer service was also quite nice and attentive.

Been in this store a couple of times and definitely will make the 30 min drive to go again.

Staff are friendly. The two gentlemen i spoke with in fish dept were informative and very kind. They both took the time to answer all questions. The one man took the time to help my son make an informed decision on the fish he wanted to buy and was very patient. We did not feel rushed as in other stores. We both left very pleased and looking forward to going back. My son confirmed that driving all that way was worth it.

The people at this store are always so nice while checking us out. We get our bulk shavings here for our guinea pigs - I haven't been able to get a better price anywhere else.

One of the best places for food, toys, cages and even pets. My daughter loves seeing the animals and wants them all, except for the little python.

Whatever you need for your dog cat or other animals. They have it. Very helpful I like your store. Also hard to get dog rib bones They always have them in the freezer.

I totally forgot his name BUT the male employee was so very helpful! I found out things about birds I never even knew! He was super knowledgeable and absolutely friendly and most helpful. Thank you!

Lots of staff to offer assistance which was nice to see. They tend to be a little higher priced than other pet stores.

I take my kids here once a week to visit all the animals because we aren't allowed pets at our residence. There is a good selection of animals and products and you are allowed to pet the animals and or take one into the petting room and play with them. It's really cool. The staff is really friendly as well.

It's hard to find rats that my girlfriend's boa will eat (picky creature) but the staff is always really helpful at finding a nice tempting morsel for the danger noodle in my life.

Well laid out store. Lots of dog food choices. Furry & feathered creatures to admire in passing. Friendly and helpful staff person on the cash register.

I go to a pet store to get what I need not be treated like a five year old or to see staff being abused by managers. I will no longer be frequenting this petland due to multiple occasions this has happened. I like the chain itself as a side note.

Sabrina went above and beyond, she was extremely helpful and explained me things starting from the scratch.
Little bit of background i just adopted gold fish from my friend and wasn't sure if i am doing the things right. Good to know that i am doing everything right and added few things to my information. She made my day.

My daught can finally enjoy her bird friend now that you've clipped her wings and trimmed the nails. I can't thank you enough! Seeing the smile on her face when she could handle peetree for the first time was priceless

We always buy our pet foods from Petland. I like that they carry local and Canadian made foods as that is important to me. My kids love coming along and seeing all the small animals and fish.

The only pet store company ill ever go to. They actaully take care and look after there animals. Cleaning there cages atleast once if not twice daily and actaully give the animals there needed attention.

This is a smaller location than some of the others but still good service and plenty of variety of products. They had a few baby skinnypigs so if your interested in that it's pretty adorable

If you need to find a one stop place to ship t for different pets; this is it. Well laid out, clean and friendly knowledgeable staff. Super easy to access right off Manning drive!

Over priced. I shop P. E FOR MY DOGS MOST TIME I SPEND $500 TO $800 a month on my 2 olde English bulldogges feeding them and toy leashes best prices in the city

This is a cool store you can touch most of the pets as they are in open cages. All the ladies there are really nice too. No cheaper then pet smart tho I would say

I love Petland! The employees are always super helpful, they help me pick out a bird feeder for my finches, they are very knowledgeable!

Awesome store with some amazing staff! Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and always ready to help. Decent variety of toys, treats, food or anything for your pets and don't forget the adorable pets awaiting their special homes!

Nice to see the animals and how they react to people. The hamster we got a couple of years back seemed comfortable with touch and handling- I think from being in the "people sociable " environments. Now we have a happy- popcorning- weeking guinipig!

Fabulous service for my feather pet. They did my birds wings and nails at a very reasonable rate and didnt need to book an appointment.

Super friendly staff, lots of selection on items, they have small animals for sale, cats, and fish. Good spot to stop for aquarium equipment

The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. Fun having all the pets right at the front. However we came here for some crickets. The going rate for large crickets everywhere is between $0.11 - $0.13.it was 24 crickets for $5 which is over 2 times the price. If the crickets are over priced what else might be?

They had everything we needed here. Went in for fish food had a good selection with good brands. They ladies were helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were horrible. Not cleaned and Clearly they dont check on them. Extremely unsanitary

The staff are always helpful and very patient, i brought my puppy in to get him a new toy and he kept borking in the store, all the staff where nothing but nice and patient!

Friendly informed staff. My Bunny has his mani/pedi here every few.months. Quick professional and and cheap! I highly recommend.
