If you have a cat - this is the best spot to buy cat food. Not the cheapest but with huge assortments. And I mean it - huge! You can find something for very- very fussy eater for sure! I have two cats and this place is a big help!

No sing saying no shirt no shoes no service upon entering I was told that for the safety of the animals I needed to have a shirt on. Just wondering what animal health concern this raises as I am was told it was due to hair.if it's no ok to be somewhere in these hot summer months without a shirt plz put a sing up an unwritten rule is not a rule.

Petland in the end did the right thing for us. They need to improve their second cat processes.

Great service when you can find people, but i understand they're busy with the animals. It's a little bit expensive, if you want to buy standard things then i recommend Walmart. They do have a lot of selection for a lot more animals than other pets, but if you are like me and like to dress up your dog, then theres limited selection for clothes. However, every time I walk in, I always spend twice as long than I should because of the pets they sell, and I usually spend time in the open play pens. So much fun!

Expensive. Use only in a pinch. Bought dog food that cost $136 for a 30 lb bag that you can get else where for $100. Petsmart is even cheaper.

BEWARE OF THIS STORE! The “manager” cheyenne has zero customer service skills and was extremely rude to her staff. I purchased something a week ago that I didn’t need but lost the receipt. I was told I’m not able to do a refund or in store credit. I offered to show the transaction on my online banking but that did not suffice. Now I’m stuck with a $100 product I have no use for. I find there prices higher then other places but I like supporting Canadian owned businesses. After this encounter I will never step foot in this store again.

I’ve never had such a great experience dealing with someone before. The store manager went above and beyond helping me find what I needed and beyond! She was a joy to deal with, her knowledge and understanding of pets and products made my shopping experience so pleasant. I will definitely be coming back to her store as she made it so wonderful. I wish I could give them more stars

I shop at this petland often, and my latest experience there was amazing! They had all of my dogs favourites (treats, stuffie brands and chewing bones) all in stock. The staff and manager went above and beyond with my very curious toddler, talking to him about what each of the animals were and let him have special encounters with some of them- after leaving he has not stopped asking to go back. When completing our purchase, it was accurate and efficient. This store will continue to be “go to” for all my dogs needs.

It was imposible to buy a little fish today. She didn’t want to sell me a fish even though I told her IT will be in a fish tank. She just keep telling -“ I would be very careful. ”
Very dissapointed!

Go there for BOGO pet fish & live plants under $15. It's the 1st Friday of every month. Selection isn't as good as bigger aquarium stores tho!

Best customer service and sales people ever! Kieran was absolutely amazing. He knows SO much about fish but explained everything to me in a way I could wrap.my head around. He was patient with me and guided me to exactly what I needed. The product selection was great especially this close to Christmas. Very good variety of price ranges. The petclub program saved me a bunch of money too. I'm so excited for my son to get his new aquarium. Thank you Kieran and everyone at Petland. I will for sure be back. Happy Holidays!

Great experience with Kieran. He knew alot about snakes, was incredibly patient, kind and helpful. It was a beautiful experience for my kid, who has wanted a snake for 2 years now.
