Always a great experience here. Oh man the bathroom breaks lol. Jokes. Usually good stops for snacks and drinks. While on the pow wow or round dance trail.
Too bad the restaurant is closing. Very well snack/drink-stocked Petro-Canada. Gotta stop for their coffee ever time I pass by. Great view from top of the hill. Lots of space to take the dog for a walk.
This place has a massive pothole, unmarked with no barricades around it at the entrance. Tore the sidewall out of my tire and scraped my rim. When I spoke with the employee he said they knew about it and had complaints, pure negligence. Not sure why they opted to leave it unpatched, it doesn't take a lot to pave it over with some asphalt. Thanks for the added unnecessary costs! Really appreciated.
The parking lot at this location absolutely SUCKS! There are huge sink holes throughout this whole lot. Petro Canada has no problem taking our money for fuel and over priced products that can be purchased from other stores cheaper but as truck drivers we are not able to access, but somehow doesn't care about the safety of our equipment that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. THIS LOT IS A DISGRACE! They should be ashamed of the conditions of this place.
All of the driveway lights are out, so it was difficult to find the entrance in the dark. Very limited truck parking. The semis had to unhook from their trailers to fuel. We filled our generator, $130, then when walked into the store to make a snack purchase only to have the young man behind the counter very rudely insist that we immediately “move that thing”, referring to our pickup truck and trailer. No one at the pumps but us, no one waiting for a pump. No place else to park. Skip this one.
Whenever I travel this route, I stop at Innisfree AB PetroCan. I did not go inside (pd at the pump) but pulled over for a rest, enjoying the pleasant scenery.
Please spare your suspension on your vehicle. They need to take a serious look at their drive and parking lot. The potholes will tear the bottom off of your car.
