I called asking for something, the guy answered and said he was going to check, never come back. I called again and nobody answered. Horrible customer service.

Some brands are not in stock.prices are going up. Other than that it is always awesome to stop by!

I was very, VERY saddened today when I was walking through pet smart and as I was looking at the small animals… there was a very small enclosure with two syrian hamsters inside. Their hideout was knocked over, they had no where to go/burrow and I actually cried when the hamster was struggling so hard to run on the wheel due to the lack of size. Petsmart has been told for years they need to start advertising and working on proper hamster care… it makes me sick they still don’t get it. Don’t support by buying hamsters from pet stores as they get them from hamster mills… please adopt from an ethical breeder if you can! Not impressed at all.

We took our pet for beginner's training with Gayle. Our experience with Gayle has been very positive. Each and every class, she takes her time to discuss with all pet owners to ensure all questions are answered. I love how Gayle always has a great suggestion to address and explain certain unwanted behaviours. Overall, I am very satisfied with the training we have received and will definitely recommend the training to any pet owners who need some help with training his or her pet.

The way they keep some of their animals is beyond pathetic. The bettas especially are kept in tiny cups, with nowhere to hide, and a super bright light on them constantly.

Do better guys.

Had to return a long crate mat today as our 5m old border Collie puppies had chewed a hold through it. Their warranty allows it to be exchanged for a new one within 2 months. Went in, they found the receipt in their system, I got a new one and they processed the replacement. All good. Gentleman at the cash new exactly what to do and it was a quick in and out with the new matt. Thanks guys.

Very frustrated with this place. Called last weekend they said the cat groomer is only there on Saturday. Ok I call Saturday they say call Sunday you will get in without an apt so I call & the cat groomer is in.but they say don’t cut nails… on Sunday. None of them are on the same page. Taking my business elsewhere

Yeah pet stores now are a big no no for me. I don't know how but like it's always hard to ask for help. They either brush you off or don't know what they are doing. Thier ball python which is now sold was so skinny. It was seriously underweight. Plus I waited 20 mins just to get help with a bearded dragon

It was busy. Only one person doing cash. Another person could have opened to help with the line at the cash (6pm)

I went for some snails. All the tanks looked very clean and not a single dead fish in any of them. No offense to pisces but if you compare the way they keep their snails to this store. You would think they are being abused over there. Pristine shells on these snails aswell no cracks or anything.

Pets are bought here as well as pet supplies I think that's why they called it a pets mart? Hahahaha ha that would make sense yes

I like the selection here! Especially the grooming/ medical section. Only downfall is the prices are high

Fish department just don't like to sell fish. What can I say? I just wanted 2 fish but they're claiming my tank's too small. Apparently to them, I need a 50 gallon tank for 2 goldfish. Umm okay?

I drive from Airdrie to that specific store every week because of their excellent customer service! Staff is always super kind & friendly.and you never have to wait forever to get some help. Also, their live crickets, worms, etc, are always alive/ in good condition. I had issue with other stores because of their dead stock, but never with this one which makes it worth the drive!:) I definitely recommend them.

The store is awesome. Loads of pet stuff and the out fits for your fur baby are amazing. I was just so let down at the till. My daughter and u was asked if we are members and we are not. She didn't offer to join as she was too preoccupied talking to a co worker. She was telling her we where her last customer and she's off. She just threw our items on the side. She didn't even ask if we needed a bag. I know going home after a shift is something to look forward to. However being blatantly rude and ignoring customers, choosing to brag about going home and stuff your going to do when u clock off is not what I would call good customer service.
Pity she was so rude. We have never been in the store and I was expressed by the selection. Now I doubt I will be back.

This PetSmart location has an amazing stock of items and I can always find what I’m looking for. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and made my shopping experience really enjoyable!

I took my 7 month old puppy for a bath and brush today. I did not have a great experience the last to times we came here for grooming but this time it was amazing.
Mckayla B is super nice and did a very good job. I highly recommend her to everyone.

The staff here are courteous and very knowledgeable. Always great to pop in and ask questions and pick up pet needs.

Brought my puppy to have her hair, nails, bath done. I'm so happy with Angie. I saw how gentle and good with Angel she was. I'll be bringing my puppy back for her grooming service at petsmart again.

Always have a lot of deals. I like that they carry the larger bag of royal canin dog kibble which some pet stores don't.

I was out jogging with my dog on Sunday. Thinking that Petsmart would’ve had some water for the dogs at the front entrance like they normally do.
There was no water so I asked the cashier if there was any water and they said they were not putting water out due to Covid. I just left I went over the road to A&W and they gave me water in a cup for my little dog. I do understand I should’ve took some water with me on route but there’s so many places where you can get water.
I’ve traveled around the world and there’s no place where they don’t offer you water if you asked for it except for Petsmart in Beacon Hill.
I will be using our establishment again very disappointing.
You only get one star because the leashes and harnesses are a good price when on offer

Took my 5 month old yorkie there for a bath and trim. When we got the groomer was very impatient and instead of letting her come out on her own I had to go in and grab her the groomer then proceeded to put a leash around her neck which we don’t put a collar on our yorkie because of trachea collapse issues the breed has and she then proceeded to push/pull my visible scared puppy through the gate. We initially brought her for a trim and bath but they found a few Matt’s so she had to be shaved. No patients or kindness! I called 20 min later to go back and pick her and told them that I didn’t want them to do it because I didn’t want the to have and traumatized her they told me they had already shaved her and regardless it had to be done. Kayla is not a good groomer as she has no patients with nervous dogs/puppies and was very cold towards me and my puppy and is probably in the wrong line of work! So not impressed! Will never take my dog back! Especially when I told her about my concerns she laughed them off

Always come here and there's always people eager to help any way they can. I'm a bit stubborn so when I had to get cat food with crutches and a broken foot I tried to tough out out on my own. A few mins after staring at the case of cat food and wondering how I'd carry it, I was approached by the manager who quickly offered to carry out to the front for me. And didn't hesitate to bring it out to my car for me! So sweet.

To top it off, my cat decided he didn't like the flavor so I had to go back a week later and was able to exchange every can, even having misplaced my receipt.incredible customer service

Always clean whenever I've gone to this location. Staff super friendly and acknowledge you first hand and are easy to find when help is needed.

If you like messy isles, no stock and waiting inline for the cashier this is the place for you! They do not do physical item check and the website is grossly inaccurate so you have to hope they have what you are looking for. The grooming service is the only good part of this store as they are very fast and take very good care of your pet. But you'll be waiting in line to pay afterwards.

I will NEVER shop here EVER again. I understand that there are rules to help keep people sale. And if this location had more than 10 people at any given time, I could see safety being a concern. My husband and I went to this location on May 2nd at 4: 15pm to buy an extra large crate. There was MAYBE 3 customers in the store. Two of which were clearly from the same family. I asked my husband to come in from the car to help me with a crate as the only associate I could find was at the till helping someone else.magically an associate appeared and approached us to let us know how annoyed he was at all of the customers that came into the store today, didn't read "the 4 signs you walked by and just ignored' was, EXTREMELY unprofessional and had a major attitude. We not only left WITHOUT purchasing the crate we went for. But also didn't purchase the big bag of food we went in for and we will not be back to purchase the big dog run we had planned to put outside. Coming all the way from Cochrane, this was disappointing to say the least. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a place that hires employees that flat out tells me how annoying I am.

Our dog Penny is a cross breed. She is very friendly so I had no fears about her having a bath etc. I read some reviews about how other dogs had their nails cut to close and came out bleeding
When I met Bridget the groomer my fears went away. We talked about the nails and the cut and she asked us about Penny. Logical questions
When we picked up our 80 lb baby 2 year old she is stunning. What a great job Bridget and Penny really likes you. We will be booking for August but only with you. Thank you for taking such loving care of our dog

Staff is awesome. Friendly and helpful. They have pets as well so they can relate to what pet owners are looking for. MacKenzie was very helpful. The dogs loved her. Thank you for running out in the cold after us to bring us a bag we left at the till!

Not what it used to be. Marilyn and Dora are no longer there and the there seems to be no one who is experienced or friendly, especially with nervous dogs. A different atmosphere. Will be finding a new place.

I have been coming to this location for 6 years now. Taken my puppy for classes, bought food, toys and to grooming. I have used all of their services throughout these years and been a loyal customer. Today Friday January 29th 2021 I had an appointment at 4: 15pm for grooming for my dog. I was running 5 min late and arrived at the parking lot to receive a phone call saying they have canceled my appointment and my dog could not be groomed.even though I explained I am here and its only a few minutes. Talked to one of the associates asking why is this happening and her response was "ya sorry its the way to goes". I asked for her manager to which she replied she is away this week but she will call you next week. The level of improper customer service is shocking and frankly missing. For somone who also works in the Frontline we must understand how important our little ones are to us and they help us coop and get through these tough times. If this was a service for my self and I was late a few minutes and I was rejected I could understand but for our little ones.unfortunately its unforgivable and the lack of compassion and professionalism was suprising. Treating customers properly and answering their questions respectfully is always a great way to build loyalty. This was not the case unfortunately. I am deeply saddened and disappointed

I was walking around the store looking for items for my new dog and no one assisted. I slipped in some urine on the floor. I mentioned it to an employee and they said yeah and waved. When I walked by to go to cash it was still there not cleaned up.

Our foster dog chose to sit on a shelf to take a break which was absolutely hilarious. Customer service was attentive and helped me take my things to my car.

If your looking for reptile items i suggest going somewhere like pices or j&j reptiles. They did not carry the snake hook i required but it is fine for smaller snakes. I have a red tail boa so they could not accommodate my needs. Other then that they had amazing service and the staff where frendly

Good stock of cat food and supplies. Excellent prices on what we came for. Helpful friendly staff. Easy access. No line-up or waiting. Clean and organized store.

PetSmart is an amazing company. I love that they support Pawsitive Match Rescue and other shelters to give all those beautiful animals a great second chance at life.

Brought my dog in for a pawdicure which is a nail trim, nail grind, feet trim/ pad shave, ear clean, teeth brushing for $24.

I have had this done a couple times at this location in the past, with pretty good service.

However today I stepped out to finish the rest of my coffee and make a phone call in my truck in parking lot. Gone for maybe 10 minutes max. When I came back I was reamed for leaving the store as they don’t have kennel space. Understandable, so I apologized. But then when I got home I noticed not all of his nails were ground and none of his feet hair were trimmed. Only one ear looks clean. I feel like I did not get a service that $24 justifies. I don’t recommend coming here anymore.

I dont like to support places that sell small animals and birds. If it's not ok for dogs and cats how is it ok for any animal

I took my dog Clifford in to get groomed. While I was signing my dog in I heard a dog yelp several times while the groomer clipped his/her nails. There was blood on the table, this proves that she cut the quick, 3 times on the same dog. The groomer kept going and didn't even care about what she did. I then decided to stay and watch my dog (with a different groomer) get groomed. As I was watching another dog yelped a lot and I saw blood on the table. I then reported it to the one of the store managers, he just defended his staff and tried to imply that I didn't understand grooming. After this I went back to watch my dog and he was getting his nails clipped. This groomer also cut several of his quick's. One of the nails that she caught the quick on is white, you can see the quick in white nails. I then talked to the grooming manager and she gave me a ton of attitude and said from this point on I will mark your file as inactive. So she did not say sorry and she banned me from the grooming place, not that I would ever go there again.

Was hoping to adopt a hamster, however, the associate working there wasn’t doing anything except chatting with his fellow worker. And then when he finally stopped and come our way, told us that he didn’t have time to help us. I don’t understand this, I already have everything set up at home and picked a hamster already. He said he didn’t have time to sort everything and get everything in time for them to close. However it was still 40 minute until they closed. He didn’t let us explain that we have everything needed.

We went here at Petsmart Sarcee Trail yesterday. My friends kid used a step stool (which was just lying around in front of the aquarium) while my freind was holding her kid as her kid cant see the fish. This lady staff came rushing to us and sarcastically pointed ar the bottom of the stool saying "cant you see it says for employees only" (the sign is at the bottom side which you wont readily see). If she really see it as a safety concern then dont leave it in front of the aquarium. Considering there are lots of kids around. (She then quickly store it under a small table). We should be the one telling her. I get that she is looking at it on the safety side. But her approach was very offensive to us.
