I have updated rabies shot tags for my dog and they refused to trim nails without paperwork? What's the point of having tags?

Please, for the love of your pet, DO NOT get them groomed here! My dog is traumatized and I had to take her to the vet to treat an infection from clipper burns and cuts! I DO NOT recommend and only gave one star because you can’t rate any less. Take some time to find a home groomer, or any other place that will not scar your pet.
I hope my dog will emotionally recover but it is so sad to see how traumatized she is. DO NOT risk your pet’s health and safety by taking them here.

Worst customer service ever! They were out of crickets. We found 2 on the floor. Put them in a container from the podium and used a glove. At the time there was no other customers in the store. There was 5 employees working at time. Not one of them asked us if we need help. We get to the checkout very rude cashier. She says to us next time don't go help yourself. There was no sign saying employees only! And she charged us for the 2 crickets we found on the floor crawling around. We will never shop there again!

I like looking at the pets, especially the fish! Back when I had a gecko, they had good prices on crickets and friendly staff

I told to teller I don't know anything about pet food can u pls let me where I can find, she went to Manager, manager yes manager. She came out and said we can't help u bcoz " we not get pay for this, sorry u have to find by urself. I asked if ur customer who don't know anything about store and food, would u able to help him/her. She said, "No".

I brought my dog in to get her nails cut and everything was professional up until they tried paging me to come get my dog. The lady told me specifically to not come back in until I was paged and that's what I did. Turns out, their com system is broken. They came out and harassed me over the fact I didn't come check in on my dog and continued to harass me and be unprofessional related to the whole situation due to a problem on THEIR end. The lady also argued that she came out and walked the whole store looking for us but we were there the whole time and she wasn't seen by us once. The lady also took off my dogs collar (after saying she didn't need to because of not being groomed) and returned her to me without it. When I asked her about the collar I was met with attitude assuming I lost her collar when it was in THEIR backroom. Extremely unprofessional and will never be going there again.

The Ladies who groomed our little Wolf Pup were professional, done as agreed and Took care to make our Boy look great! Thank you.

In all the years of owning animals. I've never had a better experience than this place. The girls are so helpful. N if u don't know, they will. Walk in get what I need n walk out with giggles n alot of laughter. GREATEST EXPERIENCE!

They not only have a lot of pet food variety and products, their prices are better than other pet stores. They also have dog training, pets for sale and treats for dogs who come in with their owners.

Staff is always very friendly and they always have a great selection of clearance items, I just bought a bunch of costumes and halloween treets for less then half price for my pets

I went to go pick up some supplies for my dog and honestly the store could be better stocked.everything seemed a little out of place, not that much for stock on every section. ALSO, the poor betta fish at the front do not seem like they are properly being taken care of, as most of them were dead.

The worst coustmer service and i will tell all the ppl i know to not go there i do not recommend this store to anyone we where talking nicley to her and the cashier didn’t show no respect because they were closing soon i will never go to that store

Friendly staff. Know the products the store provides. Knowledge of animals in their care is positive. Very clean store. Animal habitats are kept clean. PetSmart doesn't sell animals from puppy mills rather help rescues find furever homes.

My Pup is traumatized! It's been 3 days since her grooming and she's had prior sessions at other places and always comes back normal and happy. She has constantly been crying/whining since 3 days and does not move from where she sits. She used to be extremely playful/jumpy and now just keeps sitting in 1 spot. This place cut her hair so close to her skin. We could not even recognize her when we went to pick her up.
When we expressed our dissatisfaction at the time of pickup, we were told that her hair was matted and they had to shave it all up. Well, she's always had long hair and we've never heard this about our pup. Shouldn't they have called us when they found out about "her matted hair"? And asked us if we wanted it that short or not? And then it would have been my call if I wanted to continue with them or go pick up my pup from there. This was my 1st time with PetsMart and sadly since then I've heard horrid stories from everyone I'm talking to. Why don't people speak up and write in here? So people can we more aware and save our pups from such places!

Not much help from staff. We wandered for half hour trying to find a collar that would fit our dog and not one person even said hello.

Their grooming department here is top notch! Ask for Lindsay, she is amazing when it comes to bathing and grooming my doggo. He absolutely loves her as well. The store is well stocked and carries everything you pet should need, staff are also super knowledgeable!

Worst pet smart to go to, worst costumer service!
I don’t the name of lady who was closing on till on Aug 03 in her 40s May be little curly hair,
But she was super mean to me and my friend and did not want to work I guess.
Pet smart should hire compassionate people who actually want to help not dry ppl like her. I would really want some one to at least remind her that her job is to help not to be mean!

They never have stock, don't understand why they don't order stock sooner before they run out, drove all that way for nothing.

Two female employees were having a loud, inappropriate conversation right by the front doors yesterday and did not stop to acknowledge customers as they came in. Super unprofessional

We get our dog groomed here and they do such a good job! She always smells so clean when we pick her up and her coat is bushed so well.

They have a very big selection of food and accessories for any kind of animal that you may have. The prices are competitive with everyone around, shy of getting generic food from a grocery store, which might be a dollar or two cheaper. The staff here seem to be fairly happy and helpful. The aisles are all full, faced, and very clean. As long as you pay attention to the sales on food, it's totally worth coming here. Will continue to return.

Cashier was kind and helpful.:) the manager was rude and condescending:/ I understand that everyone is under a fair amount of stress but there is no excuse for blatant rudeness.
Much rather shop at smaller stores like Bone and Biscuit and PetValu because their staff seems to genuinely care and arent rude jerks.

There are stop signs or yield signs missing I areas I have almost been hit a few times cause people dont know when to stop or look for other traffic. Needs to be addressed asap

It is appalling to witness 2 employees, one named Lee Murray & another with a cashier #429575 provide such poor customer service on my visit on November 25th, 2020 at 1pm. Both of these employees were muttering racial slurs about an immigrant customer (refusing to let her purchase over $100 worth of merchandise) getting items for her little puppy. The puppy happened to piddle on the ground and both of these employees were yelling at her to clean it up, belittling her in front of other customers, throwing cleaning supplies at her when you could clearly tell she was of limited English. Both of these employees need to have training with dealing with difficult situations especially with the unemployment rate being so high- hiring new employees who can treat others with dignity & respect should be considered. I've shopped at this location over the years and have witnessed Lee Murray yelling at customers, berating them, being rude and belligerent. We are in the middle of a pandemic- we ought to be kind to one another with having very few places to go out- observing such disgusting behaviour is disappointing. I will no longer shop/ support this location and will tell others to do the same. 0 stars.

Horrible service from Lindsay. My wife has taken our fur baby here previously. She could hear disgusting profanity being used between her and another staff member, my wife was absolutely horrified, absolutely unprofessional young woman. The service was poor, I'm told that the young woman in question isn't certified to be doing this type of work. We have used this location in the past but would not recommend it in the future to ANY pet owners. I'll be sharing this review with the 7600 Edmonton local pet owners we run a group with.

This is my favorite pet store in the city. The staff is always happy and willing to help. Their fish are well cared for and the staff that work in the aquatics section are knowledgeable. I enjoy having little conversations with them as they're netting my latest wet pet. Their staff in other "departments" are always eager to lend a hand and know the store well when I'm looking for something specific for my kitties or puppy. I can always depend on this location to have what I need

Great local store for pet needs. I get my dog nails trimmed here, they are quick and courteous and never had a bad experience.

If I could give the grooming salon 0 stars, I would. Cynthia is extremely rude and nasty in dealing with customers and pets. She has no sense of customer service, an attitude problem, and was ill mannered when speaking with me. She did a terrible job grooming my dog; his fur is uneven and patchy and nothing we discussed. My dog loves visiting his usual groomer, but after I got him today he was shaky and scared. When speaking to other employees, they told me this was not the first time there was a complaint about her. She should not be allowed near any dogs if she does not know how to take care of them properly. I really hope Petsmart takes charge and deals with this employee.

Every time I go in to buy my pet treats or food, they are no longer available and not going to return. This happens frequently. I am tired of retraining my dog to new food/treats. I will be shopping somewhere else.

I frequent this location as it's one of the closest to my home, but it seems the stock can be lacking in some brands and you can't ever find an associate to ask for help

Every time I go there everyone is very friendly and love seeing your pets come with you. Amidst Covid-19, they have done great about making sure people maintain their distance with floor tape and signs (especially around the cash registers). The clear shields designed to protect cashiers could be bigger by at least 1ft.because it's easy to accidentally move past it and directly face the cashier while you're talking and moving to collect your purchases. Aside from that, it's one of my favourite places to go for pet paraphernalia because of the service and apparent care for customers and employees alike.

These 5 stars are for Lee Murray. She is the best trainer. The classes have been so helpful and I have recommend them to everyone! Lee is helpful beyond just the classroom environment. I cannot thank her enough for all her advice and for the endless love she has given my puppy and every puppy that has been in her class.

It was my first time at this location and I am so frustrated at the service I received. The workers are so rude; there is no customer service at all. First of all, finding a worker to help us purchase a bird was a nightmare. We spent 20 minutes running around aisles to find some help. Finally, when we found someone named Danielle she was extremely rude and spoke me to like i was a dog. The guy standing next to her was the so called manager who abruptly asked my mom not to give her attitude which is highly unprofessional and far from good customer service. I wish i could give this store ZERO STARS. I will never shop here again.from now on ill be shopping at PETLAND. Beware all future customers.if you plan to shop here, prepare yourself to be treated like absolute garbage.

This is the best location in the city. The trainer there, Lee is absolutely amazing. If you want to take your puppy to dog school. Go to this petsmart. The staff have always been amazing to our little one. She’s been going there since she was a puppy and knows all the staff because they take the time to say “hi” to her.

Seriously wish I listened to people when they told me they do a HORRIBLE job of grooming puppies.my puppy is not even a year old yet and can get quite stressed out in new surroundings. We got a call saying that our puppy bit the groomer and we had to come pick him up because they could not groom him. We were fine with that and went to pick him up, they brought out our puppy whose body was completely shaved and head, tail, and paws had not even been touched. On top of that he was patchy all over.they did such a bad job I was in tears. We had specifically told them not to shave our dog, but even on top of that they should not lie and say that they did not even groom him. We will never be back here and I will never recommend this place to anyone.

For dog training, this is the place to go! Lea Murray is the trainer at this location and is an absolute gem of a person. She is the most experienced dog trainer I have ever met, if I remember correctly she has 30+ years of experience working with dogs. She is also the most caring person ever and will care for your dogs as if they were her own. My dog knows her as "Auntie Lea Murray", so it just goes to show how important she has become to my dog and I. She is the regional trainer of trainer's for PetSmart, so she is the best of the best for PetSmart trainers. I highly recommend her if you want your dog to be better behaved, as she not only teaches your dog but teaches you how to teach your dog.

Manager is some red headed girl with glasses who is sooooo rude. She slacks at her job and treats employees with the most disrespect. Every time I have came in contact with her she has been rude. I wanted to adopt 2 cats and she refused to let me adopt them because I had a big dog? I don’t know what’s wrong with her but clearly there’s a lot wrong. I would give this location 0 stars just because of the rude manager.

Some of the workers knew their job.except for the cashier.she didnt know how to redeem a gift card and told my sister in law there was nothing on the card.made my sister in law very upset.she needs more training!
