When I called in for the appointment I told them I lived out of town and made sure to ask what I needed to bring, I was told I needed proof of vaccination, which is 100% valid. When I arrived with the paperwork from my vet (including sticker off the bottle) I was told it wasn’t good enough, they wanted it in a different format. The website doesn’t state anything about a specific format.but apparently official receipts don’t count as valid. Even though they were polite about everything I will not recommend or frequent pet smart anymore.

The groomers here are awesome and very professional, the website for booking makes booking appointments a breeze.

They are the groomers that are always consistently open, and they dona great job

Went to take my golden retriever for a grooming session and since his vet paper work was in fact on paper and handwritten with the vaccinations etc they wouldn't accept it due to policy which is news to me

Can usually find what I need. Tends to be a bit more expensive than other places, but has more options.

Took my doggo in for her final day of training for basic training and the staff were so friendly and polite and even gave my doggo a Kong.

Brought my bernidoodle in for a groom and they did a fantastic job. Highly recommend. Just remember to bring your updated rabies certifications.

Not impressed with fish attendant or cashier. Interrogated in the fish department and not even asked if I wanted a shopping bag to reduce stress for my new fishes ride home at check out. Customer service here is lacking big time.

I was in Lethbridge shopping and locked my keys in my vehicle. I had already placed my order and had to call the restaurant to explain why I didn't come back to pick up my order. They were so awesome and made sure I had a fresh order when I finally made it back. Thank you for the great service and tasty chicken

The groomers are always good with my pets. They treat them like they were their own. If they have a problem or question, they will contact you immediately. Very friendly and helpful.

No one greeted me. I was wondering around for 30min before I received any help. They were out of the item I came in for. Probably won't be back

We were five minutes late to our grooming appointment because of road construction and when we arrived they’d already given it away and were extremely rude. Didn’t even try and call us or anything. Definitely not going back.

I just wish they didn't keep betta fish in those tiny cups. I'm really sick of the myth that betta fish are happy in tiny enclosures. 2.5 gallon minimum, 5 gallons preferable. I don't think pet stores should carry betta fish if they can't keep them humanely. Most of their bettas were losing their colours from stress, just floating listlessly at the top of the water and not moving at all. That's not the quality of care a pet store as prolific as pet smart should settle for imo.

I booked an appointment for my dog for full grooming. I arrive to be told he can only have a bath. I produce the vets paperwork (updated 2 weeks ago) and did not have the most recent rabies certificate. Rather than allow me to get it emailed or faxed, they cancel my appointment. This is not the first issue I’ve had with this store and their grooming, I will never go to the store ever again and encourage others to find a better more customer friendly place for their pets.

If you own pets and are looking to rent a steam cleaner for your carpets, this is the place to go. Reasonable price and pet quality equipment

The grooming service is poor don’t care if you make appointment walking still more important

This store has absolutely everything one would need for their animal.
It's neat and well organized.
While we were there, they were training pups with their owners.
MARSHALL was gifted on cash with his helpfulness and cute comebacks which made us smile.

SKYLAR was a an awesome cashier.
Lots of cat toys, beds, treats and food as well as for dogs, plus coats and chew sticks. They also have training for dogs and dog grooming.
