Awesome salon massage therapist connie is kind and good at her job was able to reduce my pain and make me relax after a work injury and I will be returning for my first manicure in my life because she made me comfortable in their very clean spa I will definitely return again

I had brought my mother-in-law and daughter in to this salon this Friday to get our nails done. My daughter is turning 7 this year, and my mother-in-law has diffculty getting around due to her artheritis.

Dispite all this, the staff were very accommodating and cared for my family. They were patient with my daughter, and helped my mother-in-law get around the salon. As a mother and daughter myself, I understand how diffcult this can be, and feel appricative for the kind services of the staff. All I can say was that the customer service was phenominal.

As for the quality of the service itself, I have nothing negitive to comment on. The staff did all three of our nails professionally, and done the designs exactly as requested. We are very satifisfied with the results.
The environment was also very tidy and well kept.

Overall, a very nice and presentable nail salon, with well trained staff and excellent service. Would come again!

Do not go here for eyebrow threading. I’ve gotten them done here multiple times and EVERY SINGLE TIME I’ve had to return for touch ups because one eyebrow always looks completely different when compared to the other. I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt in the past because they are very affordable but today was my last time! All 3 women do not know what they are doing. Save yourself from looking like a clown and take your time and money elsewhere.

Wow! What a great experience, Amy is a true professional and works fast with great attention to detail, this was my first time here as I received a gift card and I will definitely be going back. Professional, clean and great service. Very easy to get in last minute too which was appreciated. Highly recommend Amy and the bio gel nails.

Hidden gem in varsity. Costumer service was on point, professional manicure and pedicure and massage. Jin was amazing, my first pedicure and I will be returning.

If you’re looking to get your nails or lashes done definitely go here and ask for Lin! She does an AMAZING job. I’ve been coming here since 2017 for my lashes, and on and off for my acrylics and they’re always perfect. 10/10 recommend. She’s such a kind person, and goes above and beyond for her clients. Thank you for fixing my nails today (from another salon) ? !

Pedicure was mediocre and overpriced website said 30 dollars was charged 50 dollars. Be sure of what you are getting and how much the cost is before going here

Do not go for waxing services here the wax is too hot. Did not test out before applying to my skin and ended up burning my skin! Avoid!

I had my nails done there by a really nice lady (Selina) I loved her work, she paid a lot of attention to detail and care about making my nails even and perfect, they play classical music inside so it was very relaxing! Definitely coming back with her.

RIP OFF - Super disappointed in these guys, I paid 186$ for a fill and pedicure. Seemed really expensive but I thought maybe the quality would be worth the price, she filed all the gel off and didn’t rebuild any on my nails…multiple nails broke after 4 days. Also I paid extra for gems on my nails and those also came off after 3/4 days… do not go here, there are way better nail salons in Calgary!

Kashmir was amazing! She did the best exfoliating and massage which I find many just rush through. She stayed on time even after the time she spent massaging my feet! The quality of her work was excellent. Great value

Just got my eyebrows threaded today, Kashmir at this place did an amazing job! No pain, and gave my brows an amazing shape. Will come back to her regularly! Definitely see her if you’re looking for an eyebrow aesthetician in the NW!

I have been going to Phamtastic for years because honestly, they are truly fantastic like their name states! I have had many manicures, pedicures, nails, and recently I have had facials, IPL treatments, my eyebrows tattooed and my eyelashes extended. Prices are reasonable and Lin is patient, kind and skilled at what she does. As a customer, you should not hesitate to ask for what you want and you can here. Whatever I need done I call and I ask for an appointment. I am dying to try out one of their massage treatments in their new, super clean treatment room. All the employees work together and help each other to make you happy. They are all talented. You should give them a try because you will be pleasantly surprised. If you have any problems, ask to speak to the Manager and she will always make it right.

I went for Sherry for few times, she is so professional and nice, i loved the lash she has done to me, exactly what i wanted! If you go there do lash or nail, go Sherry, won’t disappoint you!

I walked into this varisity location this afternoon. Seline did my nails. She's a really nice person. She is very creative and did an awesome job. I love my new nails so much. Will come back for sure!

Got a mani/pedi from Kashmir at the Varsity location. She provided excellent service. The best part was the foot massage, the time and care she took to provide the service was top class. Highly recommend.

I love Sunny here she is very friendly and gentle, I have tried our many other nail salons over the years and she is the first one I have met that seems so humble.

I was extremely hesitant trusting my eyebrows in yet another strangers hands. I have had many terrible experiences previously. But Kashmir, took amazing care of my eyebrows and implemented my suggestions of how I wanted them to look. Definitely recommend her. Plus I have gotten many compliments!

I don't normally leave reviews but feel this is necessary based on the terrible service I just received. I went in to get the gel on my nails removed permanently after having it on for around 3 months (applied at other salons). After I arrived at my scheduled appointment time, it appeared as if my appointment were never booked as the woman was scrambling. She proceeded to use the dremmel to remove my gel but was EXTREMELY rushed and going very fast. She burned the skin around my nails with the dremmel 5 times and I had to say "ow! " out loud probably 7 times. Nails are very fragile after having gel on for so long, common sense, and she didn't seem to know when to stop and burned my nails beds multiple times as well. She rushed to file my nails down and I ended up with completely crooked tips, some edges totally broken, and gel still remaining around the edges of my nails. I DO NOT recommend having gel removed here and I will definitely not be returning. I wish I could post pictures of the mess I am left with here.

Wasn’t terribly happy with my experience here. Was in the area and needed my nails done. Was told that one person would do the removal and then would be passed to someone else for the polish. I stayed with the same girl the whole time who I don’t think had any experience. I asked to just shorten the length a bit but she removed most of the length and made the shape different on every nail. And the end she was finishing with filing and filed the skin on the side which lead to a sore on the side of my finger. The lady working front desk kept checking in and hovering a lot as well which made me feel like she was checking on the work which told me she also wasn’t confident with thegirl who was working on me.
I wouldn’t go back here and would not recommend.

If I could give this place a negative review I would. Had multiple bad experiences here, but this one takes the cake. Went in for two walk in waxing of eyebrows. First goes back and they started to thread when she clearly stated waxing. Girl kinda sounded like she was panicking or something then decides to still wax on top of the place where she threaded resulting in a big patch of skin being taken off. And when we go to come back for a refund it’s a bunch of bull calls back and forth store doesn’t have cash even though that’s what they called to confirm it’s a gong show. The manager wants to say I can buy you some antibiotic cream if that will make you feel better? That’s your response really? ! Save your money and the hassle trying to deal with staff who clearly doesn’t care. They don’t change the paper between waxes as well. Completely unprofessional and most likely a health hazard I would steer clear of this place.

First pedicure ever was a bust here. My toe was cut pretty badly in a few areas. The sheliac I got only lasted a week. Very disappointed in my first experience having a pedicure

Literally like the best drawing and design. Imagine this was all hand drawn. Selina is the best, made my day so so so so much better. Perfect color to match my wallet and this summer? ! Highly recommend!

Excellent experience today. Thanks Sunny for taking care of my nails, which looks gorgeous. The shop is super clean and working staff is friendly as well as helpful. I will definitely go back again. It will be my regular shop for nails now.

I finally found a great place for a manicure. Kashmir is amazing. She not only is the best at what she does she is also a lovely person. The hours of operation are perfect for me as well. Awesome job!

I had a great facial, very relaxing and the technician knew how to do great massages. Regular mani was nothing special. My one thumb nail shape is not filed symmetrically. Won't go back for nails but will for facial.

I would like to share some fantastic experience I had from Phamtastic Nails/Spa at Varsity. I walked into this location looking for Pedicure and Manicure as referred by one of my friends. The shop is pretty neat and well displayed. It was a quite busy day, but I was well greeted while waiting. The girl who did the pedicure was very sweat and professional making me feel so comfortable and relaxed. My nails after Manicure look fabulous! I strongly recommend this shop and will definitely come back again, as I never have been rushed no matter how busy they are. And you get the value for each dollar you spent in here.

My pedicure was rushed even though I booked in advance. The polish was applied so thickly that it would not dry and the topcoat was lifting off while the bottom was still wet. Several of the toes lost polish within the next week during my vacation in Mexico. I asked for a design and there was not enough liquid left in the bottles so it did not look very nice. She also cut the corners of my big toenails and they have been sore for the past 5 weeks. I'm not planning to return, though the salon was nice looking and seemed clean.

Lin is an extremely talented, skilled and kind lady. She was very kind to us when we got there. Angela was very good, and in the end I got a beautiful manicure that is probably the best one I got so far. Very good service, kind people, would definitely recommend.

I have to split my review:
My shellac pedicure was awesome it was done by the lady from India. On the other hand my experience with my full set of nails was horrible. In the first place, the lady that actually did the fake nails did it in such a rush that the other lady who took over had to file them a lot in order to make them look like nails. Secondly I also felt the burning under the light it was really painful and this is not the first time I get them done so I know this is not normal. The quality of the materials is really poor I got them done on Saturday dec 15 and they started to come off by Monday first one nail then the other to the point that I had to cut them as they looked horrible. The only positive was the French decoration done by the lady who speaks mandarin, Too bad it didn't even last for a week after all the work she had to do fix the rush of the first lady. Do not recomend them at all.

Passionate at what she does. She orders Number 17 eyelashes for me and takes the time to ensure I have the full look I am looking for every time. She uses quality glue that has no negative reactions like most of the salons I’ve previously attended. Her service and products are exceptional and I would highly recommend getting your eyelashes done by Lin at this establishment. I leave there feeling exceptionally happy with her services time and time again. I’ve been seeing Lin now for 6 months and will continue to see her. No one else’s eyelashes compare to Lin’s EYELASH EXTENSIONS. Give her and try - trust me you will be beyond satisfied and will question why you never tried her earlier She is the best. Thank you Lin

I had a pedicure yesterday for my birthday and I must say that overall, it was quite terrible. It wasn’t all bad. I will say that I’ve never had anyone spend as much time razoring and scrubbing my feet as they did.the bottoms of my feet are great. The reason for the negative review though is 1. She cut my cuticles so bad that they were stinging through the entire pedicure. Today, I can see little scabs along the cuticle line. 2. It was the most horrendous paint job I’ve ever had.the polish was so thick and globby. It dried bumpy with chunks around the edges of my toes: (. Since it was my birthday and I had dinner plans, I had to take off all of the polish when I got home and repaint them myself. Once again when I took the polish off, my cuticles stung like crazy because they were so cut up. I’m sure we can all agree that leaving a pedicure with a beautiful paint job is one of our favorite things and this was not the case for me which sucks because I loooved the color I chose. The lady doing my toes did try to fix one of them a couple of times by taking the polish off and repainting it again, but both times she cut corners and didn’t even do a base coat. The more she tried, the worse it got and it was clear that she just gave up in the end.

Anyway, I just wanted to share my 2 cents in hopes that the salon will try to improve this for clients moving forward. No one wants to be cut up and have to repaint them toes after paying for the service.
