Cool! I found the missing little things for my car. And I bought my own jack for $ 9. Thank you!

Needed a part for my car.they told me the location of every car in the lot that was compatible with mine.found the part, removed it and it only cost me 8 dollars! I saved 40 dollars retail!

Found the moonroof motor I needed but had trouble taking it out with basic tools. I ended up getting only the control board. Costed me so much less to fix my moonroof compared to getting a new motor assembly. The ladies at the front were very helpful and polite.

Showed up to inquire about a quote for a scrap car. Was handed a card and told "call them". I called. I explained to the representative on the phone the vehicle was complete minus Catalytic Converter (was stolen before I got a chance to recycle the car) I was asked the typical questions about the vehicle and was told to bring it in. I checked 3 times with the rep to ensure they understood the Catalytic was missing. Yep yeyepgot it. I have the car trailered over to their location on 52 st se. The clerk's there requested some additional information about the previous owners and we were off. After unloading the vehicle, I come inside to learn that they are deducting $100 due to the Catalytic being missing, which was explained to the first person, after being told by the guy who gave me the card to call to "make sure they know for when they quote" apparently the other person working there says that's deducted after the fact by them. If that was the case, why would they tell me to alert the quote person to the missing Catalytic? They were unwilling to honor the quote and then handed me a cheque. So much for the "cash for cars".

Too many chiefs, not enough.yeah. Avoid.

Kind of ridiculous that we have to saw through the floor to get parts because of the recent change to the yard. The vehicles are now on the ground with no access to anything underneath. Good luck pulling a transmission without a Sawzall and a few extra batteries!

I love their prices but not the service the only good lady their is actually mariam she always help customers and she's not rude with customers like the other ladies over there
03 April 2021 11:44
My first visit and I'm extremely happy. It took no time to find the vehicle I was looking for for parts. The front desk ladies are awesome and friendly. Meriam helped me and was cheerful and knowledgeable. I'm helping fix cars for those with limited income and older vehicles. I'll come back again for sure!

All the cars here don't run and are pulled apart, plus they charge 1 dollar admission to view the cars. Worst used car lot ever

My friend has Nissan Altima 2007 transmission went bad i called junk yards for one they want 1200$ for it i spent 2 hours there and pay 167$ i am mechanic but there is guys who will pull out that for you for less than 200$

Great staff. But not a great selection. Also some of the prices for used parts are a little high
17 November 2020 12:09
Well I found the mirrors my landlord Needed, in the row that the website said it was in. The staff there, always helpful and nice. And I was in a good mood and paid entry to the 4 people behind me

I am long winded and will make this as short as I possibly can as I do live in the High River area and needed to get a couple brake parts off of one of the cars on the lot. I've never been to this Pick N Pull on 52nd in Calgary as I normally go to the Barlow Trail location. I really can't remember the lady's name that took me in from the start when I got there, as I wish I did cause she was such an amazing lady that helped me from start to finish and was so helpful to me even held my tools for me behind the counter when I had to go back on the lot!
Just a big shout out to all the staff and this wonderful lady. Definitely will feel at home if I have to come back to the 52nd Pick N Pull. Thank-you so much

Was not too bad as we found vehicles by the slip for locations. Lady at cashier wanted to try to charge me extra 10.00 for extended warranty without even asking if i wanted it or not!
05 November 2020 18:44
If you’re gonna close your parking 30 mins before the store why not wouldn't you have that time posted instead. After showing up 30 mins before closing for a quick purchase I was turned away by a very rude women.
03 October 2020 16:44
I wasn't able to return a battery that was broken, and that I bought 3 days prior. The reason is I didn't have the receipt. The lady was very rude to me.

Was just there looking for a, 79 Grand Prix. Counter person said they didn't have 79 GP. I said it is in row 68. No she said. I paid my buck to check myself. Found car in row 68. I needed the carburetor, Engine was gone but I found the owner and service manual. I explained what had happened. How can you charge me for something you didn't know you had. She told me nothing is free here, sarcastically. I told her I will never buy from Row 52 again. I have a credit that y will just throw away. Not happy at all.

Very rude & super slowww service & service is not delivered warmly nor with any sort of smile.the old woman & her partner who work here are miserable & act like they don't even want to be here.
DEAR MANAGER: HIRE SOME YOUNGER STAFF

It be better if they had what I was looking for more but my car is rare so I'm just bitter for my own cause great place to get used parts but the prices are a but steep these days almost triple since I started going years ago
15 March 2020 14:57
Good selection, what you expect for a wrecker. Double the price for certain items.
28$ for a TINY plastic grill? I'll take my business to bucks Auto instead.
06 March 2020 2:10
Terrible experience today at the 52nd st, Calgary ab branch, an employee having a bad day turn her frustration to customers, not good attitude for customers service!
28 February 2020 6:05
Looked online first got the exact price car was exactly where it was supposed to be this easy to remove the mirror that I needed and it only cost me one third of retail definitely recommend going there before you buy stuff new
23 February 2020 12:51
Wear your boots and old clothes. Nothing convenient about shopping here. It's a scavenger hunt. Not fun.
28 December 2019 19:31
Filled with people who break and steal parts.
It's not surprising the employees wanna check your bag everytime you go in and out.
I feel like you should have to be over the age of 18 to get in there.
One of these days someone will get injured due to the stability of the vehicles being stacked on old rusty tire rims.
06 October 2019 1:08
Over all not too bad but one older woman there made it terrible! I went there twice with plenty of time to just look at a vehicle, I didn't even have tools with me, and she refused to let me in. She said the store was closed even though it was well before the stated closing time of 6pm. I understand they don't want people hanging around for hours beyond closing but seriously. Unfortunately that one old woman seems to pride herself on keeping customers out.
04 October 2019 6:32
Really cool place! I went with my Dad to get a bumper and it was super easy to find the car to pull it from! Well organized, efficient, and friendly-staffed!
03 October 2019 8:38
Great place to search for parts if you know what you're looking for and you know where to look for it and how to take them out of vehicles. There's and admission charge of $1/person and you go in and search vehicles for the parts you need. Overall, a useful/interesting concept. If you're unfamiliar with how to find the part or not sure of what part you're looking for, then this place is not for you. It's best to take someone along who knows what to look for.

It say I visited yesterday but really was only parked in front of it while waiting for the longest train to go by. The train derailed shortly after prob explained why it took so long to go by. I was actually looking at the place while waiting and remembering my last time at pick and pull and how I somehow always find all kinda cool stuff left behind in the cars
30 August 2019 5:42
I have never been to an establishment quite like this one. The staff were friendly and above all supporting. The pricing was not bad either. Just make sure you bring your tools to get the parts that your in search of. Its a 2 dollar fee to get in which is peanuts in what you would spend on getting something for the vehicle else where.

I sold my vehicle to Pick-N-Pull and the telephone process was through the USA. Our Auto laws and the USA Auto laws are very different but it still goes by the USA on a laws when you're on the phone. It's better to go into the Pick-n-Pull office and talk to them directly to sell your vehicle to them.

Once I was dealing with the office the service was wonderful and my vehicle was picked up right away Within 24 hours

Parts are very cheap and can always find the right parts. I thought customer service was not good here untill I was proven wrong when I forgot my wrenches in one of the cars. I called them early morning to see if someone could grab them and set them aside. The person I spoke to didn't care so I called back and spoke to the manager. The manager, Robin, was more than happy to go take have a look, she found them and called me back and set them aside in her office. Those are my only wrenches so I really do appriciate the manager Robin setting them aside for me. I only wish her employees would learn what great customer service is because Robin is a great example.

I recommend that place for anyone looking for a car or truck part that you might need cause they have everything there and we are now members
29 May 2019 4:25
Both stores won't answer their phones. One of them put me on hold for 20 minutes, the other doesn't answer. Now both won't answer. PICK UP YOUR PHONE SO I DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY THERE.idiots
17 May 2019 19:53
If it’s in stock it’s cheap just bring your own tools and get to work don’t forget notifications of the vehicle you seek when they don’t have it and their app Row 52
25 April 2019 4:49
Since they have listed their inventory online, no wasted trips! If you sign up on their site row52, you can set up alerts.

Pick-n-Pull is my number one option for used parts. The day these stores came to Calgary was an epic day. Great selections and awesome options. I will always refer others to both the Barlow and 52nd stores. Staff rock as well. I only have one complaint and if you have been to either store you know what it will be. My bum still hasn't defrosted. LoL
19 March 2019 15:49
Good prices for self serve part removal from vehicles typically 10+ years old. Frequent specials for toolkit members with a loyalty program to earn credits for future purchases.

What a gong show. I called last week for a quote on my vehicle for pick up, i was satisfied with the price they gave me, but was not informed I needed to have my registration in hand. So when I phoned back yesturday the price dropped by 15%, also not told quote was only good for 24 hrs.then calked again today and told they needed my drivers license number. They should maybe tell you this upfront so you arent running around like a lunitic. I will complete this transaction with them, first and last time.
