Pio Peruvian

I great Peruvian food in Calgary. If you want to enjoy a full delicious fried fish.this is the place to go. Its not in the menu, but they can prepare for you. Peruvian Chicken is not available at this moment because they need a new big oven. But fish is the good switch (coming with yucca, salad, black beans). We also tried CALDO DE POLLO (Chicken soup). It was good.

Perfect attention, their meals are super delicious.

All the service was fantastic he was so funny, always making jokes, and so nice it was such a fun time and the food was amazing 10/10 100% recommend.

Their signature chicken meals are delicious. There are other things on the menu that also look good but I have not tried them yet because the chicken is so good.

They don't inform you when they are closing for events on the website. Good way to lose costumers.

This is a really great restaurant. The food is amazing. It was a long time since I've had such good food at a restaurant. I'm pretty sure they make things fresh right away because you can just taste the difference. The gluten free fried chicken is the best thing ever. Usually I can have fried chicken because it's not gluten free. The vibe is great. The food takes a bit long to get to you but I think that's a good thing considering it tastes so delicious. It's nice they say what gluten free options and dairy free they have.

This restaurant food is most exotic, it's nutritional value is exceptional and the taste is heavenly. Felix is warn and welcoming and i would definitely come back

Just tried Pio Peruvian last night and it was lovely!
Cute little space, nothing fancy, but bright & clean & comfy. The staff is friendly & helpful - our server was super fun. Food came out quickly and hot. We started with an appy platter with a variety of South American bites - a good option for the 5 of us to share & try a couple different things. Then we all had their signature chicken with sides and sauce.amazing! The chicken! How do they make it so juicy and tasty!? Lots of sides to choose from, and 5 sauces ranging from mild to tangy to hot hot hot! Desserts all around - tres leche cake was to die for! The bill was very pocket friendly, too, so this place is a winner in my books!
If anybody's looking for a unique experience, and a belly full of delicious, authentic food, take a trip over to Pio Peruvian!

I visited Calgary from NYC and ended up at Pio Peruvian on a whim. It was AMAZING! The food, atmosphere and staff were all impeccable and amicable. My nephew was clearly hangry and Feliz along with the rest of the staff changed his personality completely. The food was delicious and drinks were heavenly. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in Calgary! And would recommend 100/10!

Staff was kind, food was amazing, got the fried fish weekend special and it was delicious! For those who aren't used to it, it's a full fish head and all. Totally worth it!

Outstanding. Came with a large group and everyone very much enjoyed their meals. Pan fried chicken was juicy and tender. Really fresh and good quality. Fiery habanero sauce was my favourite, it’s really more of 6/10 hot so give it a try. Service was fast and good, no complaints.

Will for sure be back!

Excellent food; haven’t gotten to try much South American cuisine and this felt authentic and tasted delicious. Every dish I sampled was tasty & I liked the variety you can get with the menu set up. Happy to see a family business providing such delicious food without compromise!

Holy moly! Hidden gem. I've never been here before and I will 100% be visiting again! The pio chicken was juicy and loved the light flavor. The white dip and green dips were both delicious. I love beets and they had some on the house salad (I'd want more beets!) the cooked vegetables were good also. Friend had the Lomo Saltado - the beef had a great flavor and was nice and tender. Highly recommend both dishes. Very very pleased with the food, see you soon

I LOVE this place. The food tastes so authentic, the employees are super friendly. The restaurant is bright, and welcoming. If I ever want fresh, flavourful food, this will always be one of my choices.

Great Peruvian restaurant in the Sunridge area! This small but lively restaurant serves a ton of tasty Peruvian dishes; I especially love their Chicha Morada drink and Lomo Soltado noodle dish! They're both my go-to orders and they taste wonderful every time I try them. The interior is bright and colourful, with a good amount of tables and a large parking lot outside. The staff are friendly and the prices are about average for a good restaurant nowadays. Highly recommend!
