I bought a car for the first time in years earlier this year! I was super hesitant to purchase, until I got introduced to rheanna! Rheanna went out of her way to make the whole process seamless, she made me feel comfortable and made sure I got everything I wanted in a vehicle! Did not have an appointment and just came in. Plan was to look around and compare with other car dealerships but Stewart changed my mind. Prices you see online was the price for the car, not including GST which is understandable. Some car dealerships do not list prices for new vehicles on their website, but instead you have to call them and ask for the price, which is a red flag in my opinion. Stewart was able to break down the cost for the vehicle which was super helpful. Understanding, reasonable, transparent and not pushy at all. The same goes for their Finance department. Would recommend.

Outstanding service and refreshingly honest and helpful staff. Alex Chan went out of his way to get me into the car I wanted even though I was being picky about the deal I wanted. I'm happy with my car, the deal, and the service I received. I highly recommend Alex at Platinum Mitsubishi if you want someone who will be honest with you and listen to your needs. Professional team from end to end, even the guy who delivered the car was outstanding.

I recently bought the Mirage from this dealership and my experience was wonderful. This was my first time buying a new car from the dealership and my sales representative Erick was very helpful. Neither him nor any of the staff made me feel anything other than extremely well taken care of. This was a very smooth process and would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone!

Bought two cars from here, never had an issues until last week my 2020 rvr started misfiring and the engine light wouldn’t stay on just flash. Asked service about it and was told by a lady that nothing will be covered by warranty unless the engine light is on only….

Never had a dealership tell me that before in my life and have had many fix an issue without the light on cover by warranty.

The sales team here is awesome, service is an absolute joke last time I did service here they stated they rotated my tires and filled them up both was completely untrue they never even touched them, when I got home my one tire which has glue on the side wall was still in the same spot, and they couldn’t have put air in them because I had aluminum air caps that were seized on and I personally cut them off to fill the tires lol. Needless to say I was going to get a new car from platinum in about a month or so but that service experience was too much so I have traded it in with a different dealership and I’m on to new things. A shame your service staff is losing your guys customers. I don’t recommend buying a car here due to the service staff.

Worst customer service i have ever experienced, Receptionist is rude and will never be going to them again! Definitely do not recommend ever going to them! Had to edit this after my visit today in which I learned that parts i had payed for in January were never ordered! Edit part 2, emailed the manager to not even get a response back, really shows how arrogant this dealership is!

My mother was dishonestly sold a used 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV two years ago by salesperson, Manny Maranao, who claimed to have given us a "complete" CARFAX report and specifically told my mother there was no accident history on the vehicle but turns out there were actually THREE hidden prior damage incidents in BC on the vehicle on the full CARFAX that we found out about when we tried to resell it back to another Mitsubishi dealership recently.

This means she actually bought the car for a higher value than it should've been priced at and also lost monetary value at the time of resale.

We would definitely not have agreed to purchase the vehicle had we been honestly told about the three collisions. Either Manny scammed us by purposely not providing us with a full Canada-wide CARFAX report or he didn't do his due diligence when selling the vehicle and providing my mother and me with incorrect information - regardless, we are extremely disappointed with Manny and the dealership.

I recently bought a 2023 Outlander PHEV and could not be happier with the experience at the dealership. Their sales person, Stewart, right away told me they were a family owned dealership that wants to be straight shooters and honest with it's customers. He was excellent and exemplified that statement to a T. The finance manager was laid back, in a good way that just makes a car buying experience more comfortable, and never once made me feel pressured to do anything, was not aggressive on selling a million extra's etc. I owned a Lancer a number of years ago and this experience has made me exited to be back in he Mitsubishi family! Would really recommend this dealership if you're looking for a Mitsubishi.

Dishonest! Was told that I could order a 23 Outlander PHEV at MSRP plus PDI and tax during my first visit to this dealership. Story changed next time I visited indicating they could not order but there was inventory I wanted inbound for January but when they quoted the price it was over $5k over MSRP indicating cash price even though I was financing. I later confirmed that there is no cash price on the internet. My personal preference is to boycott dealerships that profiteer and sell over MSRP.

Had a terrible experience while purchasing a car. Their financing manager Alex tried real hard to fraud us in many ways. Charged unnecessary fees in bill of sale and was showing rushing behaviour to sign the contract. After reading the bill when we tried to meet him before pickup he denied several times. When we asked about the fees he was nervous and sweating alot and unable to explain the fees. Then another person handled my case and apologized on his behalf and refunded $995. I strongly recommend to not consult Alex for financing. He feels no one is smarter than him and can bluff the digits in sale.

Since my original post, I received one response from Platinum Mitsubish, which sent to my mother, she has emailed them. Gave them all the details. After I updated my review stating we still had response. They emailed my mother, still didn't acknowledge the situation. If you are a female, do not go here. They will not help you.

Between the terrible service my mother received, and not bothering to respond to her email. Not a dealership we will ever recommend anybody.

My mother booked servicing on her vehicle one month in advance online. It was a safety recall, as well as general maintenance on her brand new 2022 vehicle. Having entered all of this online they had more than enough time to get all the parts needed. However, that was not the case. My mother arrived from BC, to be told that the parts she needed for servicing were on back order. They could give her the number to the other dealership down south and she could call them herself to see if they had the parts that she needed. She booked at least one month in advance.no one called her, no one emailed her, no one text messaged her to tell her they could not get the parts needed.

Basic customer service, someone should have called to let her know. On top of that they also should have offered to call the other dealership for her. Not to give her the number to do it herself. She booked at least a month in advance. The fact no one called shows, they do not care about their customers in any way shape or form when it comes to the servicing/maintenance of their vehicles.

There is no Mitsubishi dealership that is close to where she lives. It made sense to book with a dealership out here, as she comes in from BC several times a year to see me. We definitely will not be using their service center anytime soon. Hopefully other people have had better experiences than we did.

This location has a real welcoming feel to it, every member of the staff went the extra step to help my family feel confident in buying our new 2022 Outlander. Our sales associate Haley. S, was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. She even had little cars and coloring sheets/crayons so my 2 toddlers could stay entertained. She worked to make us happy and we are grateful. The finance department treated us fair and helped us become part of the Platinum family. I look forward to taking my Mitsubishi to this location for service for the life of my vehicle, there are lots of amenities inside and nearby for those longer services.
Platinum Mitsubishi is family owned, I was able to finance my Outlander with thousands of dollars less in fees compared to other major Mitsubishi dealerships. Haley, Stewart, Chris, Aftab thank you all.

Booked my suv in to get a block heater installed, I was able to get in quickly and was met with great service and happy, welcoming employees. The service was quicker than I’d been originally told and was also cheaper than estimated. They even went the extra step and washed the outside of my car for me which is something I’ve never experienced before. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be returning to this location should I need something done in the future!

I'll never buy a mitsubishi ever again.getting parts for a marage is a joke.for a fuel pump 900.00? But in the US 150.00? You can't get any parts for it at Napa or any other parts place IT HAS to be from a dealership for a ridiculous price! And in order to get the part it needs to be shipped from Toronto never in stock.and to get it ordered you need to drive all the way to the dealership to pay for it or fax a form to them.

Worst experience with a dealership to date. Called ahead to check on a vehicle and booked a test drive, showed up 2 hrs later only to be notified the vehicle was sold. Someone could have called to let me know so I wouldn’t waste my time driving there. I find it unethical to keep the appointment with hopes that I’ll pick a different vehicle. Will never consider this location again.

New car was driven to gas station, filled up and would not start, spitting out multiple codes. It locked up and could not even be pushed out of the way. When it arrived at Platnium, the battery had died due to the messing around with it. Instead of diagnosing the issue and repairing under warrantee, they blamed us for killing the battery and billed us. When mentioned that the car was only shut off long enough to fill the tank and a dead battery does not explain the issue, no reasonable explaination was given or even any interest in finding the issue.

I have had bad experiences with both new and used cars, and one can even say a traumatic experience with another Calgary dealership. This time around I was in touch with 5 dealerships, including Platinum. I was firdst contacted by Stewart by phone and I had told him my personal issues at the time that was a priority to take care of before I look at seriously trading in my car for a new one. Stewart not only respected my wishes, he even called to see how I was doing, not to talk about cars, but to see how my family and I were doing. I have never been treated as well as I was by Stewart and Chris, the Sales Manager. They treated me like a part of the family and I am more than happy with the car they got me in to. Aftab was another great help for everything. This was the first time I was not being pushed, forced, pressured or upsold on anything. They listened to my concerns and priorities and I cannot be happier with the service I received.

I had such a great overall experience with Platinum Mitsubishi. The receptionists, finance manager, and service department were all extremely nice and helpful. Manny M.sold me my RVR and he was great! Friendly, knowledgeable and respectful of my budget. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle here.

Worst experience I ever had in my life purchasing something. They list it for 10997 with a 2000 off from original price, informs me it is true and they also see the discount before I go there. When I went there, they say it was an error. I wasted 2 hours amidst a bad weather in Calgary and I had to use public transport since I moved recently to Calgary. This is not the first time I visited the place, I did come a week before and they show me a vehicle with windows hanging, not even fixed then moves to an overly priced 2016 model and on top of that adds more fees. We did not like the deal yet they did not even let us leave, kept pushing us for the purchase with multiple biweekly payments with hidden fees. After that we somehow left this horrible place and came home. Yet these guys kept calling leaving voice messages. I went there a second time trusting them and yet again they failed to provide a good service.

Please never visit this place and never purchase from them.

I've had a 2013 Lancer, 2015 RVR and 2017 Outlander and you would believe they valued their "loyal customers". Salesperson Alex Chan turned Finance Manager overpromised and under delivered on expectations and service. Accessories for your vehicle are supposedly covered under warranty upon installation including the third party remote starter. Had an issue with the 2-way starter shortly after the 12 months and was then told accessories are only covered for a year. Was charged $80 for a diagnostic to repair and reprogram only to be told by service that nothing could be done and I would have to purchase a new 2-way remote. Service and Parts then advised they only sell them as a pack of two and cannot sell the 2-way Compustar remote on its own.

Upon agreeing on the Outlander I was also offered a lifetime oil change service as a loyal customer. You'll be pushed on synthetic oil changes every 6 months or 8,000 km and immediately thought this would be a huge bonus. What's not told at point of sale or recorded on the sales bill is that you have to agree with the manufacturer service schedule regardless of your mileage. Lifetime Loyalty Program has now been voided on my last visit since I only wanted an oil change and the vehicle was only driven 5,000 km in between visits. Service Rep then had the audacity of telling me I would be saving money by voiding the program and coming in only for oil changes.

Be clear on what you're getting into before agreeing and do not expect any type of warranty or service whether you're labelled as a VIP/loyal customer or not.

I have been getting my 2015 mirage serviced here since I purchased it. I have been fairly pleased with my service until today. It felt like no one was friendly or happy to assist me. I mentioned 2 concerns when booking the appointment and neither were addressed. I am used to someone going over the invoice in detail and explaining the charges, which is appreciated, but today was just given the total and I wasn't even sure what service had been done.

It was recommended that I get my rear brakes replaced and I mentioned I just had a brake service last year - I asked if that was the front brakes, or why I would need the brakes done again. I was told they didn't know what service was done last time and when I asked them to please check the system for details, they did not. I was also asked to pay up front in full for the $1000 brake replacement (something I am not used to with any other auto body shop) so I asked to take the estimate home and think it over. I feel I was not met with a very understanding attitude, nor was the estimate clearly explained.

Very disappointed after being a customer for years.

I was in the market for a new vehicle. Upon walking into this dealership I had the worry of shark style sales. And boy oh boy was I wrong. Greeted a few times by the sales team here which was very inviting and no pushing. Ended up chatting with Aftab, who in my eyes is the perfect example of how a vehicle sales transaction should go. Very professional, courteous and polite. Aftab is definitely highly recommended by me for sure and any other car deals he will be my go to guy.

Worst experienced ever by a sales rep named Jason. I was hoping to buy a car today May 19, the sales rep started by showing me the wrong car, then proceeded to show me the car that I was initially interested and forgot to mention the car smelled like smoke. On top of that he wasn't transparent about the history of the car being a rental. The sales rep wasn't professional and didn't make this experience enjoyable but in the end left frustrated and a waste of my time. Last time I will ever go to this dealership.

I've known Manny for 12 years and bought 3 vehicles from him already. He is a guy to go to, very easy to deal with, knowledgeable and helpful. He is always one call away with any questions you have. His customer service is A+. If you guys are looking for a vehicle don't hesitate to contact him. And overall Platinum Misubishi has excellent customer service. Would definitely go back in the future if I plan to trade my vehicle again.

BE CAREFUL WHO YOU TRUST! My son purchased a car from Platinum last year. During one of our recent snow events he slid down an icy hill and hit a curb. He had to tow the car so he decided to tow it to Platinum. They assessed the damage and gave him a quote for over $12,000 and then had the nerve to charge him ~$175 for the quote. He decided to get a second quote so took it to another service provider and they repaired the car for under $4000. I say again. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU TRUST!

When we bought our Lancer ES back in 2005 it was a very good experience.over the years i have never had any real issues with their Service Dept either, other than it being really slow, so if you can, drop your car off and go home, then come back to pick it up later.
However, recently i have had few bad experiences with one Service Advisor - Chris Maitland (judging from their dealership org chart, he is related to the President - as of April 2016, it appears that he no longer works there). In May 2013 i brought my car in for an alignment, a SA (not Chris) called and said "your inner tie rod is a bit lose, which is causing the front wheels to have a small amount of play, but you probably don't have to change them for another 20000 km, we will just have to keep an eye on it. Therefore we would't recommend performing the alignment adjustment until the inner tie rods are replaced. ". Which i am okay with.three weeks later, i brought my car in for a brake fluid change and a diagnostic for high idle (dropped off the car in the morning 7am), this time my SA was Chris.i have asked him to see when the technician take my tires off to perform the brake fluid change, if they can take a quick peek at my brakes and such, Chris said yes and i made sure it won't cost any extra.when Chris called to tell me that have finished with my car, i asked what was the total cost, i was shocked to hear the cost.somehow that quick peek" had became a Type 2 Service which cost $130.i argued but he said there nothing they can do since it is already done.as for the diagnostic, he said they can't find the cause for high idle, but they found the valve cover gasket is leaking so that will need to be replaced.then i had to "remind" him my car still have power train warranty, which covers the valve cover gasket.he also wanted to charge me for the full hour ($130) of the diagnostic even though the gasket part of the diagnose is covered under warranty.again, i had to ASK for my warranty.finally, he said i should change the inner tie rod immediately as there are a lot of play, as well as the timing belt is worn.when i asked how did a small amount of play become a lot of play in 3 weeks, he suggested i probably drove over a big pot pole or something.i didn't bother saying anything else and decline to have the tie rods and timing belt changed.i went to get a second opinion, sure enough both parts are still fine, and do not need to be changed right the way.oh yeah, he also said my timing belt need to be changed right the way as it is in a bad shape.i had my neighbor mechanic check it, he said it is fine, don't need to change it just yet.i understand they need to make money, but when you buy a car here, either go somewhere else to service your car, or avoid having Chris to be your adviser.as well, everything he said that need to be changed, get a second opinion first.it is important you have/know a local mechanic that you can trust.

I recently bought a vehicle from Platinum and am so happy with the service I recieved from Mathieu, he listened to what I was looking for, gave me the test drive I asked for and then suggested a better vehicle, which was actually cheaper. And then he helped get the one problem I found with it taken care of as quickly as possible! Highly recommend visiting for the quality of service as much as the quality of the vehicles!

Not honest in service. I brought my vehicle to fix the bubble on the protection film, which I purchased at this dealership last year. When I picked up my vehicle after the protection film was fixed. I asked the service attendant if the film was replaced or just the bubbles were removed by creating pinholes and flatten it. The lady attendant said, the film was replaced. And even on the service report handed to me stated the film was replaced. When I checked it, pinholes fixing were done on the film and it was never replaced. I can even see the trace marks of the bubbles when the film was flatten on this "fixing". I am also worried that if they really inspected my vehicle on the annual so called "Diamond Protection Package" inspection.

I’m just browsing in different dealerships when I found few pre owned vehicles in Mitsubishi. Jason is the one approach me how he can help me. I told him I am looking for pre owed car for my youngest son as his first car. I booked an appointment after work the same day. He suggested the Mitsubishi Lancer 2013 just came in. It’s not even in the market. He said “your son for sure gonna like it”. He’s right when we drive test, my son said I like it. Jason is very helpful from the start until we picked up the car. We noticed in few days after we picked up the car, issues not being thoroughly checked and fix. Myself and my son spoke to Jason again. He booked right away to check and have the technicians fix the problems and after my son picked up the car, Jason did a follow up making sure that we are happy and satisfied with their service and if there is more issues and concerns that needs to address. Excellent job Jason! You are asset of the company, taking care of the customers. It’s our first time in Mitsubishi maybe in the future we’ll buy another one. Really appreciate you. Thank you very much.

I have a car i bought at platinum. 2 year old car. Engine light on.bosst it every morning and camshaft codes. Dealer says it can not be fixed! Charged money to look at it. Thanks for the 10 year warranty guys! Will never buy a mitsubishi product ever. Its pretty embarrassing to deal with major engine failures and no warranty to even back it up.

Unfortunately this is another dealership with scamming tactics. I have purchase previously a used vehicle from them, and the transaction went ok. As a returning customer I decide to proceed forward with another transaction and in mid December 2019 decided to buy an Outlander. According to their Mitsubishi Platinum website, they were asking $30,429 for an ES model; this was a 2019 year clearance lot promo. Also, same page with big letters were mentioned "0% financing for 84 months". I went to see the vehicle. The total cost with all the dealers fees and taxes would come around $33,750, from which $1700 is the dealer fees, with their $1000 winter package and around 700 documentation fees. I did not ask for the better price and did nor argue about the fees. I made my mind to purchase the vehicle for the total price of $33,750 and put $12,000 down and for the remaining amount take 0% financing for 60 months, with the opportunity to pay the vehicle faster. Well, things did not go the FAIR way how I planned, as they are NOT FAIR to their customers at all. I was told that the displayed price of $30,429 was a "CASH PRICE". First of all there were nothing mentioning on their website about this! I have been offered 3 different ridiculous options, and one of them was to take 5,9% rather then 0%. Anyway, even with my Equafax high credit score, they just did not care. They wanted to milk me as much as they could do, and refused to sell it to me for the initial asking price. I send an email to the selling agent and advised that their selling practices are deceiving and misleading, and I will definitely mentioned it so the public knows this. I received a reply from one of their managers Kenton Maitland, who "blamed" the malfunction of their website, which is NOT TRUE; this is just another Marketing scam to attract the buyers! The webpage was corrected after that with an add "Hover for details", but the car that I wanted to buy was gone! So, as a conclusion, this is a dealership that has the same Marketing deceiving tactics as the other, and they are NOT transparent and NOT FAIR! Be careful!

Platinum Mitsubishi made my vehicle shopping experience exceptional! I had been in the market for a new car for the past while. None of the previous dealerships seemed to really care about the customer except to forcefully push a car on them, even if it was one I wasn't interested in.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Raj and he provided the service I needed that was thoughtful and considerate. Basically told him my budget, what features I would've liked in the car, and he thoroughly ran through the options for me. Throughout my experience, I felt like no pressure was placed on me and I felt comfortable dealing with him. Thank you Raj and the team at Platinum for being accomodating!

We had a block heater installed went to use and find that it was installed with the shortest cord cord every coming from the block, so instead of having run the cord to grill so can block in from outside you have to open the hood, each time and have it open, just disappointed, pure laziness of install and was not cheap.oh, and off all cars i have had 2016 Outlander is the worst to start in cold weather.

I purchased our family's RVR here in platinum mitsubishi back in august of 2019 and though this review may be past overdue I still believe they deserved to be recognized for the great service they gave me through my purchase. It was Chris the manager who helped me and showed me around and gave me a great deal for the car and also Aftab in their financing department gave me great service. Chris was really helpful and really easy to talk to and is not the type of guy who would push you to buy something which me and my wife really liked. All in all great service

Went to see Alex Chan based off of a recommendation and couldn't have been happier. I was in a rush to get a new Vehicle, old one was.dying fast. I found a used SUV that fit my needs and Alex was able to assist with a test drive and confirming that the vehicle was in good condition. It was my first time buying/financing a vehicle and he was very informative, ensuring that I understood all the details within the purchase. After confirming that this was the vehicle for me I went to switch over insurance, my insurance company at the time gave me a good quote, but then when I went to switch it over it was suddenly double what they quoted me. After informing Alex I wouldnt be able to afford the insurance he connected me to a insurance company that had a lower rate. I could not have been happier with the assistance provided. Alex went above and beyond and was happy to do so. I even received a follow up a week after to ensure I was still satisfied.

UPDATE: Do research on your Vehicles for special bulletins on replacement parts and extended manufacturers warranty. This vehicle hasn't even been driven 5000 km and I need a new timing chain. Did not take the extended warranty as I was under the impression that the suv did not have any issues and was never informed of the special bulletins. Mechanic says its a very common issue, wish I would've done my homework as the dealership did not.

Awesome experience with this dealership! Shout out to our sales person, Manuel Maranao who did a great job. He helped us find the suitable car that would keep us safe especially winter is on our way. He is not only concern about making deals professionally but most especially with the passion of helping the people is on his heart. I am very happy with my 2017 Outlander GT. My experience in buying this vehicle and the welcoming and friendly service from Chris Best has been outstanding. Best Mitsubishi Dealership in calgary. All dealerships are.well dealerships but these guys after some minor haggling got me exactly what I want and I've had the service department actually recommend that I don't do some things as it wasn't necessary aside from pocketing extra money.

I've purchased two cars here (not for sake of not looking almost everywhere else as I live on the other end of town) But the sales staff seemed competent and the financial guys are down to earth and actually give fair financing rates (based on credit) but still fought for a lower interest rate and got it for me.

As mentioned the service department is funny, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. If they don't know something they're not hesitant to ask the mechanics and call you back with exact numbers and suggestions from a certified mechanic. Also they don't over charge for services on cars, which is horribly appreciated by me. I usually get run off to local shops that patch stuff up to 'good enough' because of the rip offs I usually get with authorized service centers for vehicles. Not here tho. Fair pricing and good advice to keep your car running.

If your looking for a Mitsubishi, go to this store. Even if you don't like the north end of the city, it's worth the drive and they're competitive even with out of town dealers.

Super Happy with the service and Had an amazing car shopping experience with Platinum Mitsubishi. The team at Platinum Mitsubishi was very friendly, easy going and approachable. Manny was my salesman and he was great to work with, answered all my questions, I wasn’t pressured to buy anything at all like some other Dealership, Manny made me feel at home and was excellent in negotiating a great price for my new (used) vehicle. Alex was my finance and he was also amazing. Easy to work with and helped me find the best rate. The process was amazingly smooth.
