I went to this location and everything was so cute, Gurleen helped me out through the whole process, she was so sweet and kind and gave great customer service.

Absolutely disgusting in this store, almost as bad as the employees, we weren’t even dealing with said employees and she was extremely disrespectful and glaring at customers for no reason. She had bangs and a green shirt on and it was disgusting the way we were treated.

It’s decent for second hand clothes but not for selling them. They didn’t accept any of my clothes that I was try to sell, which is fine and understandable, but they didn’t bother to fold them back into the bag. They just shoved them all back in all crumpled and unfolded. Very disrespectful staff in general.

Plato Closet buying clothes for cheapest prices with Lululemon clothes but I shopped at the store their stockings are old and pilling selling them in the store manager should it out for it

I’ve been to Plato’s multiple times and two specific coworkers have really stood out to me and made such a meaningful impact on my experience. Keya and Annie are the sweetest souls and always manage to make my day With their kind comments while always helping me out fast and efficiently

Amazing! The two boys running the shop this morning were the GOAT, fast, professional and polite! Will certainly come back to sell more at this location

Great place for finding gently used clothing for an affordable price. It is a place to visit often and to pick up these little clothing gems for styles.

I love Plato’s. This location is nice because it’s not super busy and you don’t have to wait for the change rooms (depending on the time you go). They aren’t as big which means fewer selections.
Overall, I’ve always left with purchasing something super cute!

I wish I read these reviews. I have to say the staff was chill and polite. The store itself when I came in wasn’t appealing and right away I knew my items weren’t a fit for this place. I understand they have a criteria of items they follow to make purchases but even browsing the items in store was something I wouldn’t want to purchase myself, so it made sense my almost new Aritzia items weren’t wanted.
If you have good gently used items your better off selling them on Poshmark.

They are quite picky but I guess it just depends on the demand. They must just get a lot of women's clothes so it doesn't matter for them if you bring women's clothes.

The costumer service at this location is so sad. I came in with 5 big bags, struggling through the front door. There was two girls behind the counter that looked over at me that didn't even greet me or offer any help. One was on her phone and the other was looking at me dead in the face chewing her gum in the most annoying and irritating way. Not a single 'hello' or 'how can i help you'.

I checked in my 5 bags and was told it would be three hours; no problem. So i left and drove back home to airdrie. Twenty minutes later i got a text saying my stuff was already processed? So i drove all the way back right away.

When i arrived i walked over to the front counter letting them know i got a text saying my stuff had been looked at already. I was told 'do you mind giving us a minute we are busy'. So i looked around the store, then caught a glimpse of those girls behind the counter watching tik toks.so i went back up to the counter where one of the girls finally helped me literally in slow motion. There was no real reason for not taking my clothes, a ton of them still had tags or were close to new, and were brand names from aritzia such as wilfred, tna, babaton etc. I had washed and folded them all before coming, and it wasn't hard to notice that over half of the clothes hadn't even been looked at and had not moved from the way that i had put them into the bags.

I guess the employees were tired that day and didn't feel like doing their job so they skipped my bags. They totally gave off the vibe and attitude of 'idgaf' about anything.

By far the cringiest and most unprofessional experience i've had at a platos closet. I've bought my clothes here for years and am starting to reconsider where i spend my money.

Don't waste your time taking your clothes here they pay nothing and are way to picky had plenty of expensive jeans I never wore and they didn't buy one, whats worng with plus size clothing? There are plenty of larger girls out there and this stuff is expensive and not a lot of used avail out there, torrid and the others I have are brand name not cheap to buy? Also tried to sell a brand new red Dragon Jacket for men and they offered me 6 bucks lol 120 it cost new and your telling me your going to sell it for 19 i guess I'll stop being lazy and sell it online just thought I'd try and perhaps get at least min 30.00 rip people off with brand name stuff. Be smart people and buy direct from people them selfs dont waste your money here cause you ain't getting it from them. Or donate at least enough don't walk away with a bad taste in your mouth

First of all the clothing selection was super great & decent prices and second of all, the staff was super friendly and helpful- shout-out to Kaleb who was working the front till and was honestly one of the kindest people/nicest interactions I’ve ever had with an employee at any store. He needs to be recognized for his attitude & kindness cus it made the experience even better than anticipated! Even my brother noted how nice and friendly the guy working the cashier was! Awesome experience

We left one bag of clothes, made an account, and were told we’d get a text in about 45 minutes when the clothes were evaluated. I was surprised by the wait time estimate, since I’d been to the NW location with a similar amount of clothes and had it done in 20 minutes with fewer bags and customers in the store. There were only two other bags ahead of ours. So we waited and cleaned our car for 50 minutes, no text, and went back into the store. Out of the three employees who had been there when we’d left, one was taking his break outside, the other woman was gone, and one was just beginning to sort the first bag.
No progress seemed to have occurred in the store and we were two of 5 customers I saw throughout the experience. When we asked about the status of our bag, the woman said her co-worker appeared to have forgotten to enter us into the system, so we wouldn’t have been able to receive a text, had the work been done. She asked if we’d like her to try again but, after the 50 minute wait, our confidence was weak. So we asked for our bag returned and plan to visit the NW location soon.

I still stand by my last review. When I went in I was told it was IA now your saying it’s pre loaded system. So there is chance that your own system is pricing could be things based off another price and may not Be accurate to what the purchase price was. My clothes were gentle used and fashionable. All bought within the last 6 months. Practically new. I read everything that was that was on your website. $7.75 for 2 peices is low even by your own math. Even on the low end of your scale I still should have received a minimum of $12 dollars per item. Given how many negative reviews you have in the last 6 months regarding buying clothes from people - I’d say your data analytics of your POS machine is pricing things wrong. Average price of my items were $60. Even at 1/3 of what I bought it what I should have been offered was between $10-$15 not $3.50 per item!

Service here is awful, quote: we stop taking buys at 8, as it's 755 we will need you to come back another day earlier".

Quality is poor and often fast fashion. Probably will never be back.

This place has exceptional customer Service. Very knowledgeable on there products and how there system works. Very clean just a pleasure to shop at. As for the off the wall great prices.

Place is run by children, there is absolutely no customer service, came in with a huge bag full of brand new clothes, and two full suits. Was told right off the bat that they don’t take suits? Even though my girlfriend found a blazer hanging for sale in the store… whatever. Gave them this massive bag of brand new clothes (jeans, hunting jacket, everything was brand new or lightly worn) and they only brought 1 thing. To top it all off, I was called 15 mins before the stores closing time and the voicemail that was left on my phone said, very clearly, “if you can’t come in and pick up your stuff and money, it will be forfeited to the store”. So we raced over as to not lose everything only to find out they bought 1 item. We were never greeted upon entering the store, I actually said hello to a young man behind the counter who was on his phone, to which I got no reply. I will never be wasting my time with this joke of an establishment. I will be actively not recommending to friends and family. Stay away from this place, the store is completely unorganized with wrong sizes on the wrong racks and shady sales tactics, run by teenagers looking to get expensive clothing easily.

For a clothing store of second hand clothes they are snobby and the clothes basically had to be brand new for them to even take it. Worst place ever too expensive worst place to go to for second had clothes. Very unfriendly staff if I could MINUS 1 STAR. Not even worth bringing your clothes in.

Can't even give store credit properly after wanting to return something that was rung through literally seconds before.

Excellent way to rip people off even more.

I wrote a review a couple of hours ago.
Someone from the store responded with a very lengthy reply that had nothing to do with me.
I was not in the store today, nor did anything they say in response have to do with me.
But, considering they confused me with someone else who had the same issue, if seems to me it's a common thing they don't actually give store credit on returned items and instead give "points " that is not even close to being equal to amount credit should be.

This place don't like taking clothes from mimorities. When in to sell some summer clothes with the tags still on them, brand new and the sales lady told me the clothes I have is the wrong demographics for the store.

There’s a pretty good selection here and awesome prices but they are super picky about what items they take! Just something to keep in mind if you’re thinking of selling. I’m sure it comes down to many factors

This store always has the best selection out of the 3 locations in Calgary! I’ve found SEVERAL high end and well priced deals.

Decent selection, nice staff, ample parking. Didn’t sell them anything, assume they want decent items and pay about 10-20% tag or market value. Typically what most places offer.

Says no mask no entry on the entrance, went in today (around 12: 35) saw a couple without a mask. Good job on reinforcing the bylaw. Didn’t even waste a minute in the shop.

Staff is really friendly and offer an outstanding service. I received a good amount of cash for some of the items I brought in. You need to understand that they only buy certain stuff under their criteria, don’t go in expecting to sell everything.

NOTE: They review your items on a first come first serve basis, so it’ll probably take between 30-45 minutes if they’re busy or less if they’re not, to get your items processed.

I'm from a different city and have clothes shipped often from this store. I've found so many great finds and the customer service is amazing and they have been super accommodating with any questions I had! Definitely worth checking out and hope to come in person one day!

Let's see first it says on your website what brands and stuff you take which I brought and you low balled me for two items took my ID did not give back that's an issue. I do have a credit watch so if any of your staff try something I know. Not okay. Too picky is what I have to say not cool. I had a lot of items alot which was styles in the store I smell bs on what they wanted. I would just sell on facebook or kijji to get more money to be honest. ITEMS WERE NEW WITH TAGS AND IN STYLE. NEW NO HOLES NO STAINS NO RIPS. ALSO YOUR WAY TO RESPOND TO ME IS UN BUSSINESS LIKE. HAVE A GOOD DAY

I love this place.they have such a huge selection i can almost always find what i’m looking for and if i can’t i just come back in a few weeks lol.i started coming the day they opened and haven’t gone to a retailer in the mall or anywhere else since.and every time i bring in the items posted that they’re looking for currently, they always end up buying at least a couple of them as long as they’re in good condition which is great and means the clothes i’m buying there will only be in good condition (: thrifting clothes is great for the environment and also to know i’m not directly contributing to the exploitation of children or women who are abused in the fashion industry is amazing! We need more stores like this!

I frequent this Plato's location for both selling and purchasing. I always have a positive experience here. They usually take a few of the items I bring in and the selection of clothes in the store is quite good. Friendly staff and normally quiet in the store. Highly recommend over the other Plato's locations in Calgary.

I've sold things here many of times. Sometimes I'm confused by what they pass on, but they have so many clothes to go through and so many procedures to follow that I understand it! The manager is super sweet everytime I go in, and there's a girl named Larissa there that is abosultey adorable! She's got a cute style and nice personality everytime I've been in.
I enjoy going here when I'm looking for something new in my wardrobe.

They scam you here. They don't call back, blame you - the customer - for entering the wrong phone into THEIR system and then steal your clothes and "donate" it. But they don't because the "donation" place doesn't even have the clothing.
