Let me start by saying I’ve been here many times. I really love the fact they employ young kids and they’re all usually really helpful. But I had a frustrating encounter today. I went to return a pair of outdoor kids soccer cleats that were sold off their indoor rack. I was in a hurry and didn’t realize they had cleats on them. They’ve been sitting in my car since November 25th with tag attached and receipt inside right shoe. I go to return for a refund. “No refund on used items. ” No problem, all good. I quickly grab a pair of indoor shoes off the rack. Same price. I’m told it’s “way over” the 14 day return policy (not sure in what world 3 weeks is way over 14 days but ok….) they can’t exchange but he’ll give me $12 for my cleats that have a $30 tag attached and have clearly not been worn since we bought them. This just seems like a “hill not to die on situation”. Make the exchange and put your outdoors back up for $30 and retain a customer.

Also I might have been less frustrated by the experience if the 22 year old kid didn’t “boss” me 7 times throughout an encounter that I was clearly frustrated by. That’s not necessarily how I would suggest interacting with people 15 years your senior.
