Helpful staff (early on a Wednesday) got me to where I needed to be. Important when you're 'man shopping'. OK, I did get distracted and studied up on R/C model trucks and such.

It is a very nice shop filled with models and modelling materials along with RC vehicles. Lovely place, wonderful staff, and most of the products I saw are cheaper to buy than on places such as Amazon. Would recommend, wonderful place.

Nice place to find parts to my RC, I couldn’t find what i need so then I asked employee and he was very friendly to help me.

Exceptional service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Glen and maddi were very helpful helping me solve my battery related issue today and I was able to purchase what I needed at a very reasonable price. Will absolutely be coming back to browse sometime, the store was also very clean, tidy and well organized.

Went here for an airbrush, and the staff and selection here are second to none. Staff took the time to talk about the airbrushes, and had obvious hands-on experience with them - and yet, were happy to share their knowledge with a customer. I've been to many specialty stores where gatekeeper staff look down at those they don't deem worthy, and this certainly was not the case here. PM Hobbycraft is a Calgary institution, and there's a reason for that. They've won me over as a customer, and I'll definitely be back for all my craft and hobby needs. Oh, and did you know they have grilling stuff? I never expected to see Traeger grills in the store, but why not? They already have everything else:)

Without going into alot of details. I had a problem with a product purchased at PM - it had a couple defective parts. Zach handled my issue promptly and without hassle.

Very helpful staff. Needed a steering servo for an older rock crawler. Troubleshooting and replacement was sorted in about 2min. Will definitely return.

My 9yr old son came in with his grandma on his birthday, Sept. 7 to look at remote control vehicles. He had $200 to spend from his birthday money, so he bought a highly recommended one for every cent he had. My mom and him understood that if there were any issues, that they were covered for 30 days. After charging the battery, he gets it out the next day for 10 minutes and the little axle broke after driving up a sidewalk. So, we take it in Sept. 9th, they say we have to buy the part for $14.99 and pay $40 for labor. Needless to say, this is very disappointing.

I could not thank the RC department enough for all the support and help they provide. A great team that has the experience and care for their customers.

It’s a great place with the downsides being the paint is more expensive then the other places and I Definitely wish they were open even a hour later.

Having just acquired a 3D printer, I'm getting back into mini painting after many years away from it. I was greeted immediately upon entry into the store, and found the airbrushing section easily. The team member there asked a few on point questions and took only a minute to offer me two options right in my price range. He was able to immediately answer my questions about using acrylics and offered great advice on cleaning and maintenance.
This first time customer is now a loyal customer!

What trouble to return a $9.00 part. Then the worker jeanie or something accuses me of opening the package when it was still sealed. I will shop else where in the city and Amazon before I will spend another cent at that place. Other stores in the city have better staff, prices and selection. Plus you can return stuff at most places WITHOUT somebody making you feel like you tried to rip them off when you just want to return a unused / unneeded part

Disappointing experience with this place time and time again. Arrogant and uninformed staff. I was inquiring on some of the different paint selections and the folks behind the train counter simply noted “ I don’t know, I can’t read Japanese. ” Wow, ok. That was not my question but it should be expected the staff are familiar with the product lines they carry, no? Not worth spending the higher mark up in turn for zero help compared to the other shops in town. Keep looking elsewhere.

Terrible service. Rude on the phone, and multiple associates saw us struggling and completely ignored us in order to keep chatting/laughing amongst each other. Zero knowledge on the products they sell, and they couldn’t care less about giving a positive shopping experience. 0/10 will never be back.

The best, and sometimes only, place to find general level craft goods all the way up to more niche hobbies. There is a focus on miniatures and models but the staff have always been a wealth of knowledge and have offered solutions to finding and using what we need.

P. S. Some of them know a thing or two about fishing and spots to go. Thanks for sharing them with me!

If your looking for RC planes/helicopters and RC cars and models the store is recommended. If you are looking for trains or any other hobby I would suggest elsewhere as the selection is quite small and not worth while looking at. Store is very dated and floors appear dirty. This store has continually dropped in my visits as a hobby store and now go elsewhere

Bought a part for RC car the guy said it would fit. It didn't fit it would have been nice if he was sure before recommending a part.
