This place was amazing! Amazing view, amazing rooms, amazing breakfast and amazing service. Will definitely be back!

Too much loud noises outside the room that carried into the room. Wifi was poor. Hotel is clean and breakfast was good.

Ana was an exceptional reception desk clerk. Waterpark is small and it was enough for the kids.

Such a waste of money.will never ever go back to this hotel.id rather sleep in our rental car! Also, if something's broken or not working, fix it! People pay you for their room not to just shove down to our throat what issue or problem that we have to deal with.also, for the receptionists, be more friendly, smile, act like you like working there! And be more efficient!

I live far away from u guys and wont waste anymore of my precious breath talking to anyone!

Stayed here with my parents, sister and nephew and it was a great room place. We enjoyed the room, the breakfast and pool and the small balcony was great as well as fireplace. The only small complaint I have was that the TV lagged at certain points. But overall it was a great time for my family and I and we enjoyed it. I would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional Stay at Pocaterra Inn and Waterslide!

My recent stay at Pocaterra Inn and Waterslide was an absolute delight from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic experience.

The cozy and comfortable accommodations provided a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The attention to detail and cleanliness of the room truly impressed me. It felt like a home away from home, complete with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay.

Of course, the highlight was the waterslide – an absolute blast for both kids and adults alike. The waterpark facilities were well-maintained, and the excitement of the waterslide added an extra layer of fun to my stay. It's safe to say that I spent some quality time enjoying the water and reliving my childhood!

The location of the inn is another plus – situated conveniently close to Canmore's main attractions and surrounded by stunning mountain views. It made exploring the area easy and convenient.

Cute hotel and we had a good stay. My kid loved the waterslide. Nice touches like iced tea and cookies in the lobby. Room was a nice size and beautiful view out the window. Staff were very friendly. Took one star off the rooms because the wifi was kind of lousy (kept cycling and disconnecting all our devices every few minutes). Otherwise nice experience. Can’t really complain about the price when you consider the context of the market of Canmore.

Our bathroom was not clean on the first night had stains in tub so we didnt use it for that night, I let the front know and was cleaned on the second night, and was towels were always gone from pool room so it was a really cold walk back to the room.other than those two things, everything was really good! The check-in was smooth, the pool was nice and the breakfast was really good! I loved that they changed the breakfest menu. The first morning was sausage, omelets, and second moring was bacon, scrambled eggs.

By far one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had and of great value for the price we got it for. I don't even know where to begin. Service was outstandingly amazing (including everything from us being able to check in at 2am due to a late flight, having accommodations made last-minute without any hassle for an extra cot due to an error that I had made whilst making reservations, and any other questions we had being answered with the utmost patience and friendliness). Breakfast every morning in their dining room was always warm and tasted good. The location of this hotel is also very convenient to get to Banff park (about a 15 minute drive) and to many restaurants and shops nearby by either driving or walking. Our room was clean with a great balcony view of the mountains surrounding us. Even the bathtub was super relaxing with the way it was curved, lol. The staff were definitely the highlight of our experience there (special shout-out to Anna for answering our millions of questions every day and to Jimmy for making our super late check-in and super early check-out process very easy). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks.

The room is spacious and nice, well equippped. There was also fireplace in the room which looked quite good at the evening.
The wellness center was nice and there was typically no crowd in it.
We were wondering for 5 days from what the scrambled eggs were made out of. It was surely not eggs, the look and taste was terrible.
The system at the breakfast room is strange: you have to clean the tables for yourself and after meal you take the dirty plates to a collecting point. The staff in the breakfast room is not enough!

We stayed for 3 nights and were so happy to leave this hotel. The room was dirty (I always wipe down the surfaces when I check in and my lysol wipes were dirty.) We had a balcony room and there were people smoking in a non smoking area and the front desk did nothing about it. So we could not sit on the balcony and had to close the window. The hours for the gym were horrible so we never got to use it. The breakfast was not very good. The eggs are from a box and were very hard to swallow. The pre made waffles were cold and soggy. And they have the nerve to ask for tips. For $350 a night guests deserve so much more than this rundown hotel has to offer.
Update to review. The gym hours are 7 to 10. Every other hotel I stay at the hours are 24 hours. I like to work out before breakfast. I stayed here June 27 to June 30 and it is under my husbands name. Also, tried to use the side door a few times. Was always propped open with a certain staff member always outside smoking. Not sure how much work she was getting done. The pineapple was amazing at the breakfast and my kids did like the pool but for the price there are certainly things staff can do to make a stay more enjoyable. The little things right? One more thing. Wish there was a stair from the middle of the hotel. Only on the ends and the elevator took forever. I like using the stairs but had to use elevator when we were moving luggage.so slow.

Stayed at this hotel from July 7th to July 9th, friendly staff and front desk. Reasonable price. Nice clean rooms. Close to restaurants and downtown Canmore. One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.

After visiting 32 counties and hundreds of hotels, this was without a doubt, the very worst experience and stay in a hotel that I've ever had. $400 per night is ludicrous, in a standard room that is below ground with no access or view and comparable to a dungeon. Safety concern! No air conditioning in the room, no freezer in the mini fridge, spotty wi-Fi as you're literally in the basement. My spouse and I had to use our data the entire stay as the Wi-Fi would not work in our room. The pool was so heavily chlorinated that it burned my eyes and throat and I could not use the pool. The pillows were lumpy and so uncomfortable. Terrible sleep due to the heat, not being able to control the room temperature and terrible beds, pillow and bedding. Rude staff who embarrassed me at the front desk and were clearly annoyed when I spoke about the room situation upon viewing it after check in. I was brought to tears. They would not give me a refund so that I could stay elsewhere as I had just paid, not even 5 minutes prior. The general manager did not offer me a discount or refund after mentioning my concerns but instead only argued with me and blamed me for not enjoying my stay. I've never complained about a hotel in my life but this was utterly disappointing. Complete waste of money and I highly recommend staying elsewhere. There are so many other great options in the area, this hotel is overpriced and not worth the money! Unfortunately, I checked in late and could not book anywhere else due to the long weekend. Do not stay here!

If you decide to book the room type that has the 2 queen beds and a sofa bed they only have 4 of those rooms and are all near the elevator. I did not know this when I checked in and I wished I had known beforehand as I would not have stayed there. When I found out my room was near the elevator I told the front desk that I wanted to move somewhere else, but they didn’t have any other options. They also did not give me any discount for the inconvenience. I had prepaid for my stay through Expedia and they said that since I booked through Expedia that I would have to deal with them. When I contacted Expedia they also tried to see if the hotel would offer something and the hotel declined. The front desk staff was basically blaming me for my stay saying if I had mentioned that I didn’t want to be near the elevator in my reservation that they would have told me before I checked in. All they did was give me ear plugs and a towel to put under the door. Lousy way to treat your customers!

The walls in the room was dirty. There was toothpaste on the wall in the bathroom. They had a broken clock/radio in the room. The hotel used to be a Best Western years ago and I only knew this because their information is still on the phone in the room.

The breakfast was ok. I just got a bagel, so I don’t have much to comment about it.

My kids enjoyed the pool only cause of the water slide. I thought the pool was cold and there aren’t much places to sit. The pool had a weird smell and felt slimy.

There is only one elevator and it is being used constantly between the guests and staff. I had to use the stairs a couple times cause it took so long.

Really disappointed with the front desk staff about the situation. Paid way too much for a room that is not worth what I paid for.

We had a really good experience at this property. The staff is very helpful and the location is quite good. They put out cookies for guests in the afternoon - such a nice gesture. Breakfast is included and is a decent spread. Kids had fun in the pool, and there was a water slide.

The Canmore town is amazing, the location of the hotel is very good and the rooms are ok. Breakfast was delicious and very good amenities.

The only reason this placed is priced the way it is, is because of the mountains in every direction, and the location. The location is great, right off of HWY 1, gas stations everywhere, stores down the road. The service at the front desk was great, very nice people and helpful while checking in from a pre-paid booking.

The rooms, and the hotel itself really, are not worth the price. The hotel is outdated, with an early 90's feel, and needs upgrades throughout. The rooms have run down furniture, run down doors that don't close properly unless you slam it shut. The beds were fine and the pillows were good. The noise cancelation was absolutely awful, with the noise from the sliding door at the back of the building loud and clear, and vibrating as well. Air conditioner was loud and rattling, and fireplace for heat was turned off but was still on somehow, giving out heat.

Won't be coming back for that price and quality of room. Stay at something else down the road in Canmore if you must, or even stay in Cochrane or Dead Man's Flats.
