Toilets sound like they’re very efficient on litres per flush. Gymnasium vibes but if it was made by Cinderella.

Had a wedding here last week and I don’t think we could have picked a better spot with friendlier and more accommodating staff. Would recommend the Polish hall for any event to any person. The venue is also beautiful after renovations!

The Polish Hall is not the place for your wedding.

We went with the Syrenka room, newly renovated and a nice size for 100 people. The food was good, the service was terrible. Price was okay.

Not a single member of the staff wished us a congratulations on our wedding. Not one of them introduced themselves to us and told us who to take problems up with.
The Bartender.
- was not ready until 40 minutes after he started
- did not take stock of the alcohol, and didn't know what he had to offer the guests
- He said he took home $180 in tips. The manager tells me that a normal take would be $40. We suspect he took home hundreds from people thinking it was a donation jar
- each table was to have one red and one white bottle of wine on it. There were not any wine bottles on the tables at all. When asked, the bartender insisted it was the serving staff's issue, the servers insisted it was the bartender's. After being asked three times, wine finally came out. Too late for the dinner course though.
-the bartender left early. When asked about it by his manager, he says the bride dismissed him early. She did not.

The serving staff were mostly rude, avoided eye contact, and mostly ignored us except to drop food off onto the tables.

-they brought out coffee and tea, but no mugs
- the late night snack was served an hour late, and we did not receive the full complement of what we ordered.
-we were missing one entire appetizer that was ordered
- they ran out of dessert, told us no more was coming. 20 minutes later, more dessert came.
- nobody offered to bring more food when we ran out at the head table
- the head table was not served first for the dessert, and they ran out
-we paid the Polish Hall to cut our cake, and an extra charge for a table to display it on
-they did not display the cake
-the cake was still frozen because they forgot to take it out of the fridge as directed
- they didn't know how to cut the cake. They asked me how to cut it. Not.how I wanted to have the cake cut, how TO cut the cake. They used my ceremonial knife to hack the cake apart in the back.

We made arrangements with Cathy to leave our extra items until Monday in the coat room. Items like the table numbers, decorations, etc. We also made arrangements to pick up the alcohol on Monday. At the Syrenka room, they have brunch on Sunday. At midnight, the manager who had not been seen all night, came out to tell us we had to take all of our items home immediately. They could not be stored in the coat room as planned. Thanks to him, my bride was loading up her father's truck with liquor in her wedding dress. Stan Wilk had this to say: "Every Sunday we offer a Sunday brunch. You were made aware of this when you had come in to finalize things prior to the reception. " Which we did know, and that's why we made these extra arrangements for our items to stored. Thanks for changing your mind at midnight. We came the next day to pickup the cake that they let us store in their fridge overnight (should I be thankful?), and the coat room was unused. The restaurant had 10 guests in it. What a joke.

They did have an excellent reputation, it's too bad they messed up so hard on my wedding night service. There was no one around that night to rectify the issues with us as they were happened. Whomever was in charge of that building in the night, never once came up to ask me if there were problems. There were two other, larger, events going on, and I think we got the newest, least experienced staff. And I think they were left to flounder around and offered no support from their colleagues. That's my best guess here. Go ahead and roll the dice on your wedding if you want.

Finally, the invoice line items didn't add up. They snuck in an extra $600 or so in extra charges on the final bill. Check your invoices, people! When we were still disputing with them about our service concerns, the bill had not been paid in full. They made an unauthorized charge to my credit card for $5000. They didn't even mention it in the email they sent me that day. Be careful out there folks.

Tremendous venue, could improve on the "air conditioning" file. Otherwise, great room for all sorts of events, including political rallies. Check it out

Facilities were great but I would have to say supper was not. The roast beef was like shoe leather.

I was there for a wedding. Absolutely beautiful room and the food was delicious. The team of people serving were on top of everything that needed to be done. It was a very positive and delightful evening.

The Polish Hall ballroom is beautiful and elegant with a spacious hardwood floor, a stage for a live band, a gorgeous chandelier, and a second level balcony. It was the perfect venue for the Les Amis Gala Rose Ball, a classy formal dance. It would also be a wonderful space for a wedding!
