Pomeroy Hotel & Conference Centre Grande Prairie

We rented one of their banquet rooms for an event and the service was pretty good. The manager came across as someone perturbed or annoyed. The bar tender and wait staff were super friendly and speedy.
The food was quite good and tasty with a great selection for the price.

Mmmmm best lil celebration and stay-cation ever! Good service and room is absolutely Amazing. Definitely hit up the lounge for some great eats and amazing ambiance and super staff

One of the more expensive hotels in town and house keeping doesn’t even change your sheets. My girlfriend and I have been staying a week now and asked for a room clean- came back to still dirty sheets and towels.
I called the front desk and said when a room clean is done you get clean sheets as well. The girl told me “they do things a little differently around here. ”
What a joke.
Staff is extremely rude at the front desk as well.
I will be switching hotels next trip I have here. There are hotels just as nice where they actually clean your room and treat guests with some decency.

Very nice, great breakfast spread. Room was cold, heat system was loud and kept me up at night. Sounded like water running through the wall.

The best part of the hotel is having my morning started with staff Teresa, Grace and John's amazing service at breakfast. They make sure there's always hot food on the warmers and keep the food stocked throughout the morning. Tables are cleaned up right away and there's no lipstick stains on the glass in the morning. They keep things so clean, organized, and will go the extra mile for you. It also adds such a personal touch when Allan writes a welcome message on your key card sleeve and treats you like family during your stay. You'll truly feel like a valued guest with them.

Can't say enough about the excellent service all around at Pomeroy. Taylor was a superstar at the front desk and did not miss a beat even when our key card didn't work and the lobby was packed with other guests from a conference. She saw my head in the line up and waved me over, and had me on my way in a flash. I did not catch the name of the tall blonde lady at the breakfast buffet but wow, absolutely the kindest person. Women's floor can't be beat. Excellent hospitality:)

Was just there dropping a friend off for an interview. But have stayed in Jaquzzi Rooms years ago they were the biggest tubs and just a nice time Room service was excellent.

The lady scheduled on Thursday night dec. 9 should not be working in service industry I was dropping a handicap customer and she was not at all helpful and/or welcoming. Poor experience

Rooms are clean and basically outfitted. Has sauna, pool and hot tub. Hot tub unfortunately not hot. Great breakfast buffet included with room.

I had the great fortune to stay at the Pomeroy from Nov. 22-23, and would highly recommend this hotel. The staff are so warm and friendly, and the rooms and amenities are top-notch. I am disabled and do not travel often, and never while I am alone. I was therefore quite nervous about this business trip, but my apprehension immediately vanished as soon as I checked in. I could not have been treated more kindly, and the staff went above and beyond in the incredible level of assistance they provided to me. It was such a welcoming and comfortable environment that I actually felt like I was visiting extended family in Grande Prairie. Whille all of the staff were incredible, an extra big thank you goes out to Ruth, Nicole, and Neha, for their huge hearts. I also cannot praise enough the food, service, and talented staff at their restaurant, the Office. Everything I sampled there was delicious and had clearly been prepared with great care and passion.

I really cannot rave enough about this place or its people!

Don't do credit, don't need credit! So they wouldn't give me a room after i had already booked one on line.

I always enjoy going to events here, as the large ballroom always look so classy. I was an exhibitor at the EMS WINE & Scotch Tasting this year, so I got to interact with the staff who were working in the room. To be clear I did not put on the event, this is only observation. The venue was beautiful and the staff I interacted with werw friendly and efficient.

Was double charged due to front desk and told to take it up with my bank, they aren't even aware of their own policies. They told me I used a card that wasn't accepted, well then you should have told me when I asked if it was okay to use that card. Now I'm out money on a business trip. Extremely upset. Would not come back.

Had the Prime Rib dinner 2 for 1 Thursday night special at The Office restaurant.
Great as usual and can't beat the price.

Lovely one week stay! The breakfast is good. The fitness center could use a few more machines:)

Guy at front counter was very rude when checking in. Then at about midnight was woken up to a girl fighting with her bf. Across the hall security came instead of dealing with situation and removing noisey people the stood there talking for 2 hours making just as much noise, I had a funeral to go to next day and missed out on about 3 hours sleep do to this situation not being handled properly. Next day told the nice gentleman about it, and not a thing was done to possibly make it not so bad like discount ect. Will not be back.

We love going back to this hotel for the superb customer service, cozy rooms and clean hallways and a nice continental breakfast. Allan is very friendly and the rest of the front desk team and hotel staff. Kudos!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Comfy bed, great breakfast, friendly staff. A little difficult to access the hotel because of the construction but nothing the hotel can do about that.

Best place to spent your night it looks beautiful inside best restaurant right by the front door n the cleanest of this hotel is my best feeling n food

Rooms were clean and entire building well maintained. The pool, hot tub and steam room were very enjoyable as well as the breakfast buffet. The servers at breakfast were especially amazing, above and beyond service! I was with my one year old daughter by myself and one of the staff came over and helped me with her so I could get our food. When we left at the end of our stay my daughter went up and gave her a hug, which she doesn't even do with her grandma and aunty!

Rates have risen substantially. Stayed two nights, was quoted a rate and because the hotel was full the second night was quite a bit higher Typically when I quote something I stick to the prices I quote. I guess the hotel industry is different

Hospitality at this Hotel are unmatched. Both restaurants have great good, good atmosphere and service is excellent. Ashley at the front desk is very pleasant and helpful.

Skylark lounge, I have to say a terrible experience with an extremely rude old lady server…. The only saviour was the blue hair lady who prevented me from walking out! Terrible!

So worth the money. Hot water. Clean room. Great staff. Better then GREAT staff… AMAZING STAFF! The only weird thing is my window didn’t open. But the AC worked so I was so happy. I can’t wait for next year just to stay here again.

Fondue? Friday, food was excellent in the Office Restaurant. Value of portions on the Fondue could have been better, presentation was poor

My girlfriend and I came for their opening of Friday Night Fondue. We tried the cheese fondue and treated ourselves to the chocolate fondue too! It was absolutely amazing, Jane served us and was amazing! She was attentive, kind, and made the night that much more enjoyable, we will be back again.

Best breakfast. Fresh scrambled eggs, really good fresh pork, bulk sausages still warm. Wide variety of muffins pastry. Variety of fruit. Lots of fresh coffee. As I said you get what you pay for, this hotel it stands true.

Continuing. I took the top sheet off the bed closest to the door to reveal on the comforter Yellow Pee Stains. Another thing that I am still Upset about as I, ordered the Thursday Prime Rib to take to my room the Office restaurant called when it was done. In Those Cardboard boxes No Plates.plastic Utensils it was Unbelievable.

Nice hotel. Renovations look good. The only minor down side I can identify is the older mattresses. Great service from the staff and ask and they will do their best.:)

Location is good directly beside the Prairie Mall. Clean building. Was there for an event, did not see the rooms and didn't really require their any service. Seems like a nice place.

Everything updated. Rooms clean and tasteful. Food in the lounge was satisfactory. I left behind a couple of items and they were great about getting them back to me ASAP.

First off the people at the front were rude and not nice at all. Secondly the beds had what looked to be pee stains all over the one bed. I went downstairs and they tried it to move us rooms. To a small room with no ac that smelled like cigarettes. I ended up taking the clean sheets from the room and heading back to
Our old dirty room. Dirty room only had one robe. The hot tub is broken and the pool is cloudy, def doesn’t appear to be clean. In the morning the lady at the breakfast was super rude I find it distasteful to be asking to prove my stay after paying so much to stay in a sub par hotel.
