Ponoka Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

I would like to thank Dodge Ponoka service department for helping me get my truck back on the road after I had several engine codes come up, due to a very extreme cold day, my truck would not run and I called them up and they had me in right away had it fixed within a few hours. Great service and friendly atmosphere, my truck ran good with no issues after that.

Had appt but had to wait over an hour for my appt. No respect for time management and customer service.

No regrets… purchased slightly used vehicle from 1600 km away. Excellent experience. Jody in sales was great providing honest and accurate information over the phone and patiently answered all of my many questions. He worked around my schedule to make arrangements to purchase and pick up. This included having the driver (Ted) pick me up in Edmonton (on time and friendly). Pickup day detailing was “as new” and Wyatt in sales was helpful in closing the deal. Vehicle was above and beyond what was promised and it was well worth the trip. Long drive home, but I would not hesitate to purchase from Ponoka Chrysler again.

Had an awesome experience my first time with the Service Department. I was in a huge rush, trying to get my truck going to head up North to work. It had to be towed to Ponoka Chrysler. Karin was extremely helpful, got the vehicle going and out of their shop by the following morning.

Ended up partially being a recall issue so she didn't even charge me!

Couldn't ask for faster, better, more effective service.

This is by far the worst experience I've had when it comes to buying vehicles. I've dealt with low end financial companies and shady dealers but this place takes the cake. They will try sell you a truck, change the Vin on the paperwork and attempt to deliver a different one. They will refuse their fault and refuse to cancel a contract. (Even if they forget to deliver the truck!) They will take payments out without a finalized sale and without delivery of a vehicle. Absolutely by far the worst place I've dealt with.

Staff here are stellar! From Jodi who sold me my vehicle to the service counter staff and mechanics. There is no better place for a Dodge or Jeep business.

Decided to trade in my 2019 and pull the pin on a new Ram, absolutely loved the service and the attention to detail shown by all the staff at PCDJR. From the salesman (Jody) to the parts (Johnny and Kyle), service (Karen and Cliff) and all the rest of the staff. I'm sure my endless requests for parts and add-ons stressed them, but they came through like superstars. Thanks to them and anyone I forgot to mention. Highly recommended.

I went in to help my Mom get a vehicle appraisal. They have never done any buisness with us before but they gave us excellent customer service and treated us like family. I will be buying a car from them when I'm ready.

Absolutely awful experience. Extremely unprofessional. Booked an appointment to get my oil done, and after dropping it off, I had to remind them twice that I had the appointment. Even after the reminders, they forgot to get my vehicle in and pretty much told me too bad.

Never bought a vehicle here but Kyle and the team in Parts are some of the best in the industry. Super knowledgeable and goes the extra mile all the time. Great friendly staff

Worst sale guy and dealership Bought a dodge Ram traded my hemi in 2019 and guess after a week i opened my hood and had sent me V6 not V8. My bad for not checking upon delivery. Money grab dealership and sale guy i will not mention his name but he knows very well.

Worst vehicle purchase experience ever. Sales manager had no idea that the vehicle had been delivered to his dealership we were told he had no idea when it would arrive meanwhile it was in the process of being undercoated at the dealership. Husband was handed the keys and told "it's over there". Vehicle was no PDI'd at all. A brand new truck with overspray all over the box, marks from the factory all over the truck and a huge stain on the driver's side seat. I can not believe that this is the new standard of purchasing a vehicle. Ponoka Dodge you have lost any future business from us.

The prices of used cars are higher than other stores, so their cars can't be sold, see their web inventory backlog so much unit, waste managers

Just bought a beautiful jeep from here. I am from the Edmonton area and I can tell you my experience buying here was relaxed and enjoyable. Jody was my sales person and he was fantastic, no pressure no gimmicks which is the opposite of buying in the city. Kyle was the finance person and he too made this effortless. I have never had such a smooth experience purchasing a vehicle. I would recommend anyone buying a vehicle to visit this dealership.

Absolutely the worst dealership do yourself a favor and look elsewhere there is no 0 star button but that is what they deserve.once they have your money they are done with you. Service means nothing to them.

Do not buy a vehicle here!
I paid $1000 for it to be delivered. It was delivered with it needing maintenance right away, $500 dollars upon arrival. I was guaranteed it be delivered in perfect condition and if there was any problem that they would handle it. I provided them with the video proof of the damage with a time stamp that would match the deliver of my vehicle. I then provided them with the receipt for repair costs. I waited 3 months and a lot of back and forth basically telling me that they won’t do anything from the sales a manager and then sent an email to the general manager and never got an email back. The matter is still unresolved and no communication on there end. Not worth buying a vehicle especially when it was certified to be perfect on delivery and wasn’t and I was never reimbursed after a promise of having it taken care of or even given a proper email or explanation.

MANY REASON O NOT TO USE THIS DEALERSHIP.
- quote for listed price, agreed $86800 after discount of $1000. $87800 was sent via email for all in price then $1000 discount was given verbally (see first photo)
- I believe the dealership submitted to finance amount with new, higher price which is approximately $98k. Of course, this dealership never informed me the change of price (see second photo)
- I was told that financing got approved with $15k down payment so I have sold some stocks even market is bad. In face, I have ability to pay cash but dealership preferred financing option.
- when I got documents to sign, it was the time I realized the price was different with discussion
- I called the dealer and he transferred my call to manager, Patrick.
- Patrick has lots of excuse and bs. First, he said the had wrong price listed online. After he acknowledged I had a email of all pricing within 2 days, he changed his excuse that I am not from local area, therefore he would have to charge higher price to me.
- Now I can see the online price changed that indicates he would charge new, higher price to local ppl too!
So all excuses Patrick has made is BS.
I can’t believe they submitted loan application form without informing me the higher loan amount and now I understand why bank loan requested me $15k. It was for premium of this vehicle! This happened only within 3-4 days. Can’t believe this sales practice can be happened.

Don’t expect to get your deposit back when they sell your vehicle to someone else. I put a deposit on a new ram rebel. It wasn’t in stock but they were more then happy to take my deposit. The truck came in a couple of days later and then they had Chantel in finance call me and tell me that they would not sell me the truck. After 3 days of follow up with her I finally got her on the phone and she said that “she was not authorized to return my deposit, and I would need to talk with the General manager”. She said she would have them call me. I followed up multiple times after not hearing from anyone. I called myself 3 times and asked to speak with the general manager and was told that they would pass the message on. The deposit was taken February 1st and it is now the 15th. Not even a call back from the general manager. Very unprofessional business. I found out that they sold it to someone else because they were willing to pay more then what I had agreed upon.

Had the best service! Everyone was so nice and very helpful. This dealership went above and beyond!

The positive: The kind lady at the service desk is a gem!

The negative: Nobody in that building wear masks? Does Covid just not affect this dealership?

The verdict: I will be using another Dodge dealership from now on.

We purchased a 2020 Dodge Grande Caravan Crew. My credit was below par and they worked with me to get financing. Now to the not so good, we were over charged for the vehicle at purchase. We noticed the price difference and before the paperwork could reflect the difference the financing was in place. Pokoka Dodge suggested an EFT for the difference. We agreed. This process was only supposed to take 2-3 days to do. Has been 2 weeks now and still no EFT of the difference and have made multiple phone calls to our salesman and the sales manager. We feel we have been very patient and quite. Now we will be returning this vehicle due to the poor customer service we received.

The Staff are Excellent. Service staff Friendly and professional. They Make you feel Welcome. We Never had any Problems.

While the beginning of my interaction with this dealership seemed ideal, it ended up less than so.
Started out with big promises to offer lower payments, and a lower interest rate, but did not meet their own word, and in fact despite the fact they said my credit was good, they barely tried to get the payments I wanted. Cancelled 3 times to bring cheque that THEY themselves promised me.
Honestly, despite reviews, the whole situation has been disappointing.
Update: I changed my 2 stars to 1 star.
Spoke with my previous bank. They didn’t stop the payment on time to stop the bank from taking the last payment. While they did eventually send in the cheque, the bank took out those extra days off their returned payment.

BAIT AND SWITCH CON ARTISTS! Saw a newer diesel on there website. Reached out through email. Had the assistant manager email me info about truck. The next day drove 6 hrs to look at truck, but was told not for sale the dealership uses it as a tow vehicle. But dont worry here's a older truck with higher mileage for 10 k more.

Entire staff I dealt with was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Karen from the service department showed me such kindness and understanding! She went above and beyond to find a way to squeeze me in with hardly any notice to fix an untimely malfunction with my car's power windows so that I could go away to work the next morning without having to worry about leaving an unsecured vehicle behind left open to the elements. Thank you so much! Then, my mind now at ease, John in the parts department practically waited on me hand and foot letting me check out all their cool baseball caps and coffee mugs, etc. I walked away with 3 sweet hats and two travel mugs in the end, only costing me about $10-$15 each.
It was really a great experience and I will recommend this place to all. When I'm looking for a new ride down the road, I guarantee this will be my first stop, out of gratitude alone. Well done!

Called into the Service Department and spoke to a lady named Karen and she said to come down and she would set me up with a loaner but when i got there they got it right in. I waited about 45 min and my car was done. The people there were so kind and friendly. Way better service from Ponoka Chrysler than any city dealership. Thank you Ponoka Chrysler i will be back for sure.

Terrible experience. Finance never listened to my needs and did as he wanted. Once I wasn’t approved for financing they refused to give back deposit. Was told deposit would only get refunded a friend bought a car

Any dealer.any salesman is your best friend up til the time they've got their hands on your money. The test of a good dealer is how they respond minutes after you drive down the road and realize that somethings wrong. When they run for the hills and start saying that it's your fault for buying a used vehicle and not buying extended warranty, you get a sense for what kind you're dealing with. Well, you can't buy life insurance on someone who's already dead. This dealer fails! I got an education today.

You rarely get out of there without a 1,000.00 bill and they do not always stand by their work.

Horrible place waited 2 weeks for trade in value never got it. Sales man had no clue on what he was selling. Took our business elsewhere. Don't recomend to anyone. Take the drive to a better dealership

We had our Chrysler minivan serviced here and they did an exceptional job. Diana Scharr in the service department was excellent to work with and helped put our minds at ease. They worked with our schedule to make it as easy as possible on us. Thank you Diana.

We got a Jeep grand Cherokee from here. Our financing didn't stretch to a Wrangler but because the Cherokee was Deisel and Canadians don't like them for some reason we got a great discount that let us get the car. That car has kept going for 5 years without anything major happening. Since then I have brought my Challenger to them when its needed help or if it's something I can't fix and they have been brilliant. Rare turn signal bulbs that only ever went on 2 cars no problem.

5 STAR SERVICE! I went in freaking out that my jeep wasn't heating or cooling, I work in Lacombe. They not only shuttled me they fixed it quick and cheap. They were so kind to me and made me feel important. I was borderline hysterical. They were all around AWESOME to deal with.

We bought our 2017 Ram 1500 from Ponoka Dodge and the service was amazing! Our salesman and the staff were very helpful and made this big purchase smooth and easy. Would recommend this dealership to all my friends and family!
