Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Wings were not fresh. They look as tasted like they've been sitting there all day. Also they were tiny. Smallest wings I've gotten anywhere.

The sauced wings were soggy.gross. Either Popeyes has really gone downhill or maybe just this location.

I guess I don't really learn my lesson.well this time my excuse is.im running late for work so need to grab something fast.
I went to this same location.and got 3 pieces spicy chicken.
When it's time to eat it.boy! Oh boy! Let the pic speak for itself!
So disappointed! Yet again! Sub-par!

So. I think their reviews or whatever the case maybe us low. Coz the clerk asked me to fill out online survey right infront of them and asked to put highly recommended on everything. Fishy! Totally. She asked politely so I obliged. It was an improvement in their part, had my order correct and the cashier knows what she was doing.

Great food but the kitchen staff need to be more organized. I was given someone else's dinner. It was corrected before I left.

Yesterday, I ordered 10 piece of chiken and they took almost 45 minutes to deliver and it was not fully fried. When I complained to manager, she started arguing with me and insisted that it is fully fried. At the end after 15 minutes wait, they replaced the order but again few of the pieces were half cooked and one piece was smelly. I am really disappointed with their service and their quality of the product. I will not visit NE location again.

Absolutely rubbish service and staff long waits as they don’t have items like fry’s ready or biscuits.

I got Popeyes then like 2 hours later I started to puke Soo much it was so disgutang I'm never going here again PERIOD.

Always great food and great service. Typically happy every time I go there. I typically order all dark and every now and then it is not all dark but what the hell love the food anyways

My nephew and I went in to order to go. As she knew we were together. He ordered his food and paid and I ordered mine 14 piece familymeal to go. She hands my nephew his food and told me there would be a 20 to 25 min wait. Won't be going back there. Most of our food cold. I thought maybe they could of offered a beverage or somethings. Friday night dinner time.

I admire this restaurant very much.there is a special air. The meals are good.the service is dynamic and the waiters are well trained. The price is satisfactory.very much recommend.

Too bad there isn't a zero star option because they don't even deserve one.
So far the worst fried chicken I have ever had.soggy, greasy and flavorless including the French fries.
Way too overpriced for the quality of food they are serving at this location (3575 20 Ave NE calgary), also missing condiments.
Never again popeyes, it's a shame.

Very disappointed ️. Popeyes chicken never made me feel so bad ever. Today I went for take out to this location and I didn’t check it out as I didn’t feel it important to do like other days. But when came back home and I was trying to eat them, it did taste like they were not fresh at all. Chickens were soggy and flavorless and there was no chispiness. Shrimp pop corns were so hard and dry you even can’t bite them.and fries were tasteless and soggy too. Only thing that was fresh was the drink.people who love popeyes, they really better know the taste of fresh chickens from popeyes. Never going back to this location, would rather love to go other locations. Owner should look into this matter seriously if they want to store their reputations.

I walked into this place today at 1pm. 2 peeps in front of me. Ordered 8 pieces of chicken in a box. That's it, no sides no drink. After I ordered, a lot of people walked in. After waiting 25 minutes, and counting 8 people who ordered after me and walked away with their food, some or which were very large orders, I stood in line again to get my money back. Half way through the line to the till, they finally called my order, 30 minutes after I walked in. I guess that's what I get after such a complex and large order, 8 pieces of chicken in a box. Never again, not this Popeyes, or any other. Keep your overpriced chicken.

Oh that one star.if only the wait for the ridiculous crunch of delicious spicy fried could be reduced just a tiny bit I could fulfill my craving just that much sooner. But alas my heart will have to pine for that comfort those long agonizing minutes longer. In simple terms: best chicken ever.

It was so clean in the restaurant and the order process was clear and easy and it was very tasty and very attractive looking food and it was very well laid out and designed and the service was fast and the order was correct and it was my first time having and eat Popeyes. The there was so very tasty and filling and juicy and their specialty made dip was and is just the right amount of dip with the right amount of spice in it that I was so good to eat then. I will be going there to eat again then. I will be recommending the Popeyes to other people now then.

Popeye is amazing our always favourite, we went at store again and their chicken at Sunridge are getting into smaller now. I rather than go to 17Ave. SE. Because it’s worth it with the price

Ordered today there ghost pepper wings. And i couldn’t swallow it due to very salty flavor. It tasted like salt and ended thrashing it because of dissappointment!

Parking is good, only thing that you need to take care is the drive through, if you have to go towards mcleoad then man you have to wait if their is too much traffic on the road, staff is good and fast, food is really good.

I ordered 2- 4 piece platters and recieved 3 drumsticks, 4 small thighs and a piece of "white" meat that was basically the size of a big nugget. Very disappointed. Also people that ordered after me were getting there food and I was getting excited to get fresh chicken since they were making me wait, but it wasn't so, the chicken wasn't as fresh as it should have been.

Best place to buy some food when in a hurry. The customer service is rapid, prices are reasonable, fantastic mood. Will come visit again

We ordered Chicken sandwich combo, shrimps and fried chicken. Everything was great. It tasted so good. The food was fresh, perfectly cooked and good quantity. The staff was courteous and smiling all through the process. The place was very neat and clean. We had a great experience at this location and to add as always. Thank you to staff as they make it special always.

My mother and I started having this spot as our new lunch spot months ago. We come here regularly since we first started coming. We have never had popeyes before that. We loved it at first bite and starting coming at least weekly if not more. Lol. Was great every time we came. Tasty, fresh, good service etc.
However my mother and I were disappointed with our chicken burgers today (Nov 13) as the chicken on each were undercooked. Not extremely but enough to not enjoy the burger. We were so disappointed.it sucked because neither of us were the type to come up and complain about a meal.and we just wanted to enjoy the burger. Everything else the rings and popcorn shrimp was fine.
But with leaving the bad taste in our mouth about the burger being undercooked.well.it might take some time before going back to popeyes. Sadly it's probably our own fault for not complaining about it at the time, but like I said. Not our style to do so. Otherwise we thought it was great until now. Sorry. I more wrote this review for my mom cause she was so sad and disappointed about her favorite chicken burger as she is an older lady who looks forward to these lunch dates with her son that we have.

Not that busy branch of Popeyes esp on a weekdays. Typical Fried Chicken, nothing new. Crunchy, Greasy, Tasty. Not affordable imo with regards to serving size (or maybe the lady just gave me a small sized part because she said they ran out of big parts so she gave me two wings instead, too bad, but it's ok) AND they charge for their sauces. Atmosphere feels like a boring fastfood branch of Popeyes unlike other branches that we visited. Service is okay, fast but no customer connection. So-so lunch time that you can have on a typical work day.

The service is always efficient, excellent ambience, very welcoming staff members. Will return here again when I get in town.

Bad: An employee ate food behind the counter infront of customers, Sheryl needs more training for a $30 purchase, NO American Express Accepted at this store.

Story: Employee "Jyoti" was eating in the kitchen in plain-view, while customers were waiting for food. I think she is a manager (black uniform). She was wearing her airpods and eating out of a Popeyes container. Even made eye contact! Doesn't look good to eat food behind the counter while on the line of duty in a restaurant.

I understand that some form of management sets high expectations for cashiers to try and upsell meal sizes. I had politely refused the upsell 2 times. On the third attempt, I had to ask the employee "Sheryl" if they'd like to take my order as stated or should I leave. It was a frustrating matter considering I had decided what I wanted 15 minutes prior to entering the restaurant. I felt pressured as a customer when I was asked "why don't you want two sides". I expressed my opinion and she didn't like it. As refutation, she gave me a blank look and paused for about 30 seconds. Not entering my order. Instead, she should have carried on and placed my order. Rather than trying to upsell again and make the order process complicated. Let alone, delaying the customers behind me. Sorry to others for the unnecessary holdup.

One more thing, this location doesn't accept American Express. I was refused by the employee before attempting to use the card. Thankfully I have backup cards and spare cash. But for those of you who use American Express, simply visit a different location for payment convenience.

I ordered a box of chicken and when i opened it up the legs still had the chicken feathers on it. Take the time to properly clean up the chicken. That is very bad quality. Disappointed.

Generally disappointing experience. Neither our Chicken strips or chicken sandwich was crispy. Either the oil wasn't hot enough or the chicken was friend more than once. Onion rings were similarly soft.

I've enjoyed Popeyes elsewhere, but I'm not sure I'll be back to this location.

The place offers a vast variety of delicious food. I enjoyed eating here. Staff members are always helpful, prices are affordable and the spot is always well organised.

Good food but horrible service. The staff need to be trained on how to communicate with humans-lol. Some “Care & empathy” would help when you have to wait 20min. For the order.

Mine wasn't that good. I was actually disappointed. I ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich and the chicken was like I got a mcchicken on a fancy bun. Fries were good and the store was clean. Wouldn't rush back.

We were in Calgary for a appointment and drove halfway across the city as we had heard such good things about the chicken.we got a bucket to take home and 2 chix sand for drive home.was by far the best chicken I have had.

Certainly a place worth stopping over, the food is excellent and fresh, the rates are fair and it is always neat there. Kudos.
