Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I love popeyes chicken that’s why we always go to this place as this is the nearest popeyes restaurant to us. Service is good, however, no one seems to check and empty the trash bins. We came before supper rush and looks like no one checked the garbage since lunch rush like how full both of their trash bins in dining area.

Ordered drive thru.told me to wait out front will be 5 min. 45min later still waiting.this isn't the first time. But I'm done. There is no 3rd chance.

The girl that served me was so comical, and makes me want to go back. In fact I will go back and hopefully she serves me again.

I have never had an experience like that in my life. Staff were yelling and screaming at each other. They locked the doors with customers inside. 45 minutes to get our food and others had been waiting longer. NEVER AGAIN. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Told it was a 5 minute wait for strips. We waited over 15. With waiting that long none of the food was even remotely warm.

Ordered an 8pc family meal to go. It was quickly packed up and I was gone
We've ordered here before and food has always been very good and filling.

I loved going to Popeyes Louisiana kitchen in Lloydminster. Staff is very friendly? But the service was terrible yesterday at the lloydminster Popeyes. They told me to wait 4: 17 pm minutes. I waited and waited. Apparently they gave my order away and expecting me to wait another 15 minutes for a meal that I paid $73 for and I didn't get what I ordered. Half spicy and medium. Why did they make me pay 73 and gave it away and made me wait long? Very disappointed!

In Lloyd for work and I wanted to try Popeye's as I'd heard good things. Nope, nothing good there. 17 bucks for a 3 piece meal and guess what you get? A thigh, a leg and a.wait for it.a WING. Are you kidding me. I asked about what I was going to get for that wonderful news and I foolishly asked if I had to pay more to get a breast. Haha, silly me. No you just get what you get. Popeye's is much too important for us little people.

The young lady that served me went above and beyond as she first tried to get a small breast thrown in for the wing. Nope! She was working against management and that wasn't going to happen. She did manage to get me another thigh and I appreciated it. In the end she ended up slipping in a breast as they didn't have any more thighs and I didn't want to wait all day. You could see by the people waiting when I walked in that it's a normal thing.but for what? Some of the finest chicken money can buy? Nope!

I got back to the hotel and found that my coleslaw was missing. Oh well, a small price to pay for the breast. The chicken was amazingly.meh. Not memorable at all. Needed salt, needed flavor. The onion rings were average. The blueberry cream cheese doodad was alright. Everything was greasy.

So if you like:
Long waits for your "fast" food
Chicken that's no better than KFC and is average at best
And not getting a breast piece in a 3 piece meal for 17 dollars

Then Popeye's is for you!

Don't bother, I know I won't be. Glad I was able to try it but I won't bother in the future. It's not worth it.

The only reason I gave two stars is for the young lady that served me.

I was told ahead of time they were apparently short staffed. 40 minutes after waiting for my food I finally was noticed and they jumped to make my order. Only to make someone else's order then realize they didn't put my order on with the other orders. They couldn't offer anything more for almost an hour of my time but a measly pie and I told them I don't like pie!

Brutal. Wont be stopping there on my way through anymore. Only gets 2 starts cause the chicken sandwich was great.

I recommend the Blackened Chicken Sandwich. They let you know when you order if you are okay with a short wait to cook it fresh which I appreciate. The chicken was juicy and delicious. Friendly staff and clean facilities.

The chicken was extremely greasy, the biscuits taste like cake and I don't know what that stuff they call coleslaw is.

It was my first time trying Popeyes and I think the hype of it all got the better of me. I was expecting something different. It was a tad too greasy and just underwhelming.

Great food, the washrooms were nice and clean and the staff were very helpful, must try the popcorn shrimp

Although the food took 5 mins to be ready it was very fresh and delicious. The chicken was very fresh and the staff was easy to talk to and they had great communication with each other

Sent for Popeyes chicken tenders from Cold Lake, when it arrived I was surprised at how small the pieces were for the $$$ price.thought okay that's fine, they'll taste good.and my first one was pink inside! Definitely a disappointment

Same menu tastes much better if you are in Calgary. But this Lloydminster location never really impresses.

They use a medium mashed potatoes and gravy just dumped into a large container to make it look more. The wild berry desserts is about the size of a two dollar coin and very raw! The only thing they had going was the chicken! It was very poor and let down. What are we actually paying for? Really bad visit. Very slow service

Amazing location! Probably one of the best pop eyes location i’ve tried food from. The food was freshly made and the staff was super nice as well. The restaurant was very clean and the washrooms as well.

This place has something against putting chicken breasts in their family meals. Every time we ask them to include some. Every time they don’t give any.

I can’t stand the taste of dark meat! And tendons gross me out!

They either don’t know what a chicken breast is, or they’re too cheap to flipping have them on hand. If that’s the case, they could at least say so rather than assume the customer is too stupid to know the difference between a breast and a thigh. There is a clear difference. This is ridiculous.

Done with this place. Don’t recommend them.

This is one of the best popeyes branch I’ve ever been to! The food are always freshly prepared every time I order and the staff are all very friendly. I think the managers have set a high standard for this place, it is very clean from their counters up to the dining tables and tidy washrooms.

I wish I could rate them better because my family and I usually love Popeyes. Three times we've gone and all three times we've had to wait 20 mins for the food. The person always says the same thing, at least the chicken is fresh. Where I agree it's freshly made, but it is supposed to be fast food. And further to the crazy wait times, the biscuits were dry. The chicken had the thinnest crust I've ever had on fried chicken. Just definitely not worth the wait times.

Please take me off of your list. I don't like advertising where I go, what I eat and what I do when I go out. The collection of personal information it's something that I'm uncomfortable with.

I drove 150kms to try the new nuggets on my day off and there sold out. Thank you for having horrible management

As good as can be expected, from fast food fried chicken. A slight variation on what one would want from a chicken place.
Stars would be higher, but over the last few months. The chicken is getting drier, and the chicken sandwich is being served, when its holding too much grease.

Always stop in when driving through. I ALWAYS, love me some Popeyes chicken!

First visiting a Popeyes, I must say I was very impressed. Service, price and quality food, that's a winner in my books.

Small portions, ordered onion rings, but got fries in the bag instead. Had a long drive ahead so no time to go back.

Missed one of our meals.didn't realize until we got home. No phone number listed to call for customer service. They fixed everything and the service was great and food is lovely
