Super lovely staff and beautiful store. Unfortunately the shoes I had in mind didn't fit well and a lot of variations between each shoe size. Just because it didn't work for me, I would still recommend them.

Truly terrible customer service. I made one purchase and my experience has been so bad I will never return. Terrible quality for an over priced store.

Unfortunately, even with excellent customer service, the shoes lack longevity and quality. I purchased these shoes less than 12 months ago (in Sept 2022), and the sole already has a hole, which is considered normal wear and tear by the company. This experience has left me disappointed, especially when compared to other brands like Steve Madden, whose shoes lasted me well over a year. I initially expected the quality to be comparable to well-known brands like Everlane, but sadly, I was proven wrong.

Following my review, I was contacted by customer support again. However, I was disheartened to learn that the only option offered was to resole the shoes, and they provided me with the care instructions page. I had already followed the care instructions meticulously and even purchased the leather protector when buying the shoes. Despite my efforts, the shoes did not hold up as expected.

In my opinion, the company should consider adding a disclaimer to their shoes with thin soles, stating that they are unlikely to be covered by warranty if a hole develops in less than a year, even with normal usage (1-2 times per week, excluding winter). This way, customers can make informed decisions before purchasing and avoid potential disappointment.

Given my experience, I would advise others to explore alternatives and consider other brands when investing in quality footwear. Spending a lot on these shoes may not yield the expected durability, and there are likely better options available in the market.

The investment in these products is absolutely worth it! Love the fit, look & feel of my shoes & boots!

Customer service and experience is second to none. I was blown away by how far they went to make things right for me when I had a problem with a purchase. If I could give more stars I would.

I was so excited to get my purse in, I went a couple weeks back and fourth deciding which color. I knew with covid and me changing from wearing a diaper bag to a purse I wanted to support local and splurge on myself a little bit. I decided on the beautiful tan color. Unfortunately I am so disappointed with it, I do not recommend it as an everyday purse. It is super sensitive leather and if anything gets on it it is hard to get out. My son was next to be and I got a couple small splashes of milk on it. Was given directions how to clean it and it did not come out. It discoloured when I cleaned it. Although the stain may have been on me this leather is so sensitive where you can’t get anything on it. The stitching at the bottom is coming out and the inside is pretty cheaply made for over a $350 bag. I have had many leather bags and know of many companies that stand by their products but all I was told is to take it to a leather cleaner (which would cost me more) It kills me to write a bad review but I am just so disappointed.

Love Poppy Barley! Awesome footwear and top notch customer service. My oxford flats are my absolute favourite and most comfortable pair of shoes. They stand behind their product and make it easy to support a local (to me) company!

Every Poppy Barley item has been so exciting and beautiful. I should know. I have no less than 5 bags and 4 pairs of shoes! Well made, great designs, excellent craftsmanship and will be forever in my life. Timeless pieces that will be cherished and can only get better with time (at least all the bags and accessories). The shoes are a daily necessity but having great shoemakers makes future “pass me down” a reality. Love my PB.totally my jam!

This store is so dreamy! It was my first experience and I could have shopped all day! Absolutely beautiful well-crafted shoes that certainly don’t sacrifice style for comfort. Great selection for any occasion. Staff are very knowledgeable and made the buying process very easy. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my poppy barley shoes!

Beautiful shoes, but they don't last long. I had a pair of flats that I wore for only a short amount of time before the leather literally ripped. I've never had that happen before. The shoes all seem to scratch and show wear and tear very quickly no matter how much you baby them. I thought it was just a fluke with my first pair, but it has happened with all the PB shoes I own.

They are easily the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, but at these prices, it's not actually sustainable if they damage so quickly.

If you are a guy, dont go here. They used to be bespoke, which is fine, but now they are not but still charge bespoke prices. I tried to get a pair of shoes, but the pair I want would be over 3 months. Unfortunately I was given a gift card which I cant get a refund for. Long story short - they have no idea when they will be able to stock new shoes, it will be months before they have a new line and can offer anything, so honestly? Why bother going here?
The ranking of the store seem to be driven up by a lot of one time reviews.

I unfortunately haven't been to a store location but I ordered online and am so happy I did. They delivered quickly, but more importantly the shoes I bought were SO comfortable. Will definitely buy more!

Beautiful products made well! The website is easy to navigate and the merchandise is well presented. Easy fluid transaction, the product arrived ahead of schedule. My shoes are gorgeous, and comfortable. ️

The customer service was great. I purchased the full sized backpack and it’s seriously the best backpack on the market. I use it daily as my “purse”/ diaper bag. It was great as a carry-on bag for flights with kids, where you need lots of space to carry items. It will save your back! My backpack had a small defect in the stitching but the store was very accommodating to exchange my bag. Five stars!

I have purchased multiple items from PB and absolutely love what the brand stands for, their styles, and have received great customer service. I had one pair of shoes warrantied and I found them very responsive. They were able to offer me multiple options to remedy my concerns, which ultimately ended in me exchanging my shoes for a new pair as I love them so much. I am glad that they stand behind the quality of their shoes and will continue to support them because of this, however, I would suggest that that take into account the harsh weather conditions, gravel on roads etc, that our shoes have to endure in the winter to make a more durable product in the future - especially for high wear items like booties and boots.

Disappointed in their customer service. Have yet to receive email responses beyond the auto-reply saying an email has been received. They don't stand behind their product.

Beautiful products, but unfortunately most of the shoes don't fit me. I have narrow feet and only select styles come in a narrow. Most of them are only available in a standard width. I did end up buying boots in a narrow width, however the fit isn't great. I also got the Soft Oxford, but over time it stretched out and became too wide. I will have to keep my eye on the purses.

I can't praise this company enough. I've been following them since their inception. The prices had been a little out of budget for me but I kept up with their new products. In particular, the Mini Hobo Tote caught my eye but I never could justify the cost. When I finally went to pull the trigger, I saw that it was out of stock. I put myself on the wait list and was emailed in December to say it was available. This was apparently a mistake as the lady I messaged said that they had discontinued the bag. I had waited too long! A few days later I got an email saying that an invoice had been created for me. Out of confusion I gave them a call and the nice lady said that they had a few sample bags left and they would be happy to send me one. Not only that, but it was sample pricing! I quickly placed my order and two days later the bag showed up. It's absolutely beautiful and impeccably made - as I knew it would be - and the best surprise was that it was new with tags! I couldn't have asked for a more generous company and I would recommend them to anyone looking for great service and high quality products.

I am torn with my review of this store. I have three pairs of custom boots and one pair of shoes. The shoes have long since worn out. And I loved them.

I feel as though the boots could have had a better fit. However I was overall satisfied.

My issue is that the zipper toggles always would catch funny. Last week one broke off entirely.

I visited the store without the boots. I was asked it it was the old style. I'm not sure but assumed they were. I was thrn told to take them to a cobbler and asked them to put a different style on.

I will of course. My thought though is that these boots were alot of money. As they should be for the custom fit. However they obviously knew these toggles were an issues and I feel as though they should be replaced on their dime. Not mine.

GARBAGE QUALITY, NO WARRANTY, $400 SHOES RIPPED IN 3 MONTHS. I am so disappointed with my experience at Poppy Barley. I have always wanted a pair of their boots and finally talked myself into spending almost $400 on a pair. I absolutely love the look of them and at first was so impressed with the quality. I made sure to take care of them as directed and was sure to keep away from water. After only 3 months the leather ripped and when I took it into discuss with them I was told it was a wear and tear issue. After repeated conversations and a glue repair from their cobbler I was ultimately told too bad, it was due to wear and tear and proper care. I am so upset, I have never spent that much money on a pair of shoes before and was really hoping that they would in fact last me years to come as they claim their products should. I did everything that was suggested to me and yet their product did not hold up as promised. My $30 boots from fab fit fun that are years old have held up better than Poppy Barley. I was told by an employee that less expensive boots will hold up better because of synthetics, which blows my mind! Why would I ever invest that much money on a pair of shoes if they aren't expected to last as long? Unfortunately I hoped to be a Poppy Barley enthusiast but will now never shop there again. So upsetting.

My favorite shoe place, bar none. Great styles. On the expensive side overall, but quality and service are certainly worth it. Have 3 pairs, will probably get 1 or 2 more.

I had high hopes about Poppy Barley but I was extremely disappointed with my experience. When I first arrived at the store, I was pretty shocked that they abandoned their custom shoe service and were now just charging a very large amount of money for high-end shoes in standard sizes. Nonetheless, I was told that the shoes would fit as if they were custom made based on being measured to my foot. I ordered a pair of mule boots and I was charged a 'made to order' fee even though the shoes were just ordered in a standard size that they didn't happen to carry in store. It took nearly 8 weeks for the shoes to arrive in store and when I arrived to pick them up, they didn't even come close to fitting my foot. The staff made me feel like my feet were abnormal and I was told that the boots I ordered just would never fit my foot based on my instep height. After 8 weeks of waiting, I was pretty shocked that they were so dismissive of me as a client. I won't be shopping at Poppy Barley again and I hope they revisit their business model.

I adore my gold eyelet oxfords and have gotten loads of compliments.however. I've worn them about 10 times and they've stretched a ton and now feel too big for my feet. I've reached out directly to Poppy Barley and was told to wear no show socks (which I'm already doing) and to take them to a shoe repair store and take the elastic in on them - another good suggestion. But, I've paid quite a sum of money for them and only worn them 10 times so I'm feeling a bit frustrated with a new pair of shoes that have significant change already. My favorite local shoe store closed and I was hoping Poppy Barley would be the replacement - hope that they can make some strides in how to address this issue.
