Porsche Centre Calgary

2 weeks ago I went in first thing in the morning as I have heard good things about the brand from family members who have purchased different vehicles from Porsche but I can see why that was in Edmonton. Having only owned amgs and M5/M8 along with c8 corvette, I mentioned to the sales person Gaoxing that before I make a decision on turbo/turbo s, I would like to experience the brand since I am looking to make a switch in the next year and I am not about to make a $250k decision based off youtube reviews. I expected the sales people to have some people skills first and sales second, and offer a carrera or something similar in terms of test drive when I asked about wanting to go for my first porsche test drive. Instead he took my interest and turned it into a negative experience by saying that test drives are not available with "these types of cars" and we have to make a deal before it happens. What a brutal experience from someone who clearly lacks experience in customer service and sales. I guess being in my early 30s is not your typical demographic that you expect and that's where some prospecting would have helped. Will definitely go to Edmonton in the summer and stay away from this type of service that from other reviews is typical of this dealership

This review is long overdue but wanted to share my previous experiences with the service and parts departments. I have taken my Porsche Cayenne in twice for minor and major services. First was fairly average and the service rep was friendly but nothing amazing, and not comparable to my other experiences at other dealership service centres. But the parts department was not helpful and seemed pretty annoyed that I was asking about a key fob replacement or a missing crest logo for key fob. Not exactly great customer service.

Second major service I had to leave my Cayenne for most of the day but was promised it would be ready in afternoon. I received zero contact and had to call the service department twice and was just told my vehicle would be ready soon. It was Friday and dealership closed at 5pm so second call was at almost 4pm and they said my vehicle was finished. I was annoyed no one called me earlier and I had to rush to get to dealership before closing. No offer of cab or shuttle either, and I had to get my wife to drive me. Absolutely terrible customer service and it only got worse. By the time I went to pickup the vehicle, I was only directed to pay for my service, almost $3K in repairs and no one went over the work completed with me. When I asked, the person seemed annoyed and said she could find someone for me but I said it's okay. It shouldn't be me asking to go over the work completed and I just paid, took my keys and left. Needless to say, I will not be bringing my Porsche Cayenne back here again. Found a much better service shop that actually prides itself in customer satisfaction.

Michael, Brittany and the staff really know how to treat their customers. I can't fault them at all.they were patient, respectful and accommodating. Plus the products they sell are amazing.

Best service hands down! Thank you to everyone there who make it happen from front desk staff to the mechanics.

Oh and ofcourse the cars, there is no substitute!

I have previously purchased luxury cars from the Mercedes Benz & BMW car dealerships in Calgary. I personally have found that they are not as good as Porsche Centre Calgary. The layout & ambience inside the showroom at Porsche Centre Calgary are very tidy, spacious, bright, inviting & relaxing. The receptionist in the showroom is very polite and attentive.

In December, 2021, I custom ordered a 2022 Porsche Taycan 4S through Jay Gomboc. He is very friendly, honest, professional & very helpful in guiding me & my wife to select the practical options for this car, and in assisting us in making the final decision on the exterior colour (Cherry Red) for this car. During the entire custom ordering & purchasing processes, Jay made me feel very comfortable & at ease. He didn't rush me & didn't give me any sale pressure.

My 2022 Taycan 4S was finally delivered from Germany to Porsche Centre Calgary at the end of June, 2022. During these 6 months before my Taycan arrived at this dealership, Jay constantly kept me informed of & updated me through e-mails on the expected/revised delivery dates of my Taycan. He was always very prompt in responding to any questions that I had on my Taycan during these 6 months.

On the day when I went to Porsche Centre Calgary to take delivery of my Taycan, the entire delivery service/process at Porsche Centre Calgary was well organized & went very smoothly. Its specialist Garrett Geck, who is very professional & polite, patiently took about an hour by sitting beside me inside the car to teach me how to use & operate the LED touch screens. He also helped me properly set up the PCM (Porsche Communication Management) in this car to suit my personal profile/preferences.

I strongly recommend to anyone who will go to Porsche Centre Calgary to take delivery of a car, he/she should put aside at least an hour in his/her schedule to take this session from its specialist. This time is well worth it.

About a week after I took ownership of & driving my Taycan 4S, the PCM in this car started to have some software glitches. It mysteriously didn't show up my profile & didn't activate my personal settings whenever I started this car. I then phoned Garrett to inform him of this PCM problem. He then immediately worked together with his colleague Zach Stang to contact Porsche Canada & then Porsche USA to troubleshoot this PCM problem for my car.

About 2 days later, Zach phoned & told me that he had already made an appointment for me & asked me to take my Taycan to drop off at his Service Department for its technician Austin to fix this PCM software problem by following the instructions that were given to them by Porsche USA. It then took Austin a few hours to reset the PCM in my Taycan & to properly reconnect the PCM back to the satellite to completely fix this PCM glitch for my Taycan. I want to give a big thumbs-up to Garett, Zach & Austin for their excellent team work, and their very prompt & super customer support/services.

In conclusion, I personally find that Porsche Centre Calgary is a first class & top-notch luxury car dealership in Calgary. I believe its corporate culture is to require all its people to always provide prompt, responsive & the best customer service/support to its customers. This culture has made my purchase of the 2022 Taycan 4S the best & very enjoyable luxury car purchasing experience so far.

When you buy a luxury vehicle, you expect an experience. Not only from the vehicle, but also from the dealership. Porsche Centre Calgary has always gone the extra mile, friendly and honest service with professional guidance. Currently driving my 3rd vehicle from PCC and no regrets.

I would personally like to thank Zach S.for his wonderful service and assistance throughout the process of purchasing a new vehicle. His thorough knowledge of the intricate details found in each of the vehicles of interest, alongside his polite and pleasant demeanour makes it a pleasure to work with individuals like him. Individuals within the Automotive industry prioritise sales over the satisfaction of customers, but Zach S.is cut from a different fabric.

I truly hope that every experience I have with porsche moving forward is as pleasant as it was today. My Porsche Cayenne had a recall on a part, I brought the car into the service bay, walked inside, signed a paper and had a cab waiting for me compliments of Porsche. 3 hours later I got a call, car is ready, the complete bill was covered under extended warranty. I called a cab (again compliments of Porsche) and went and picked up my vehicle. Incredible customer service! I owned a Porsche Cayenne and a 911 years back and now I remember why I love the porsche brand so much.signed, life long customer!

Very knowledgeable and good service. Went to bat for me with corporate over a recall issue resulting in a major reimbursement.

The Team in Calgary are all Pros in their respective fields, always a positive experience there

In July I brought my Porsche into the Calgary Porsche dealership to get a polish. I had a consultation which I was told my car needed 2 polishes which would help the front end which had some stone chips. The cost would be $400.00 with interior or $300.00 for two polishes without the interior. When I got my car back, I could not see a difference. The exterior had not changed not even a little bit! I communicated that there had not been any change. I then took pictures of the water dripping down. Not only had it not been polished, the wash job was not done correctly. I have had it washed before and having water dripping with smudges is not my idea of an acceptable job. My car came back less then 10 minutes later with not an ounce of improvement. Here we are 2 months later with numerous phone calls never to be directed to Miles. Numerous times I was told he’s not available. Three other employees which do not have any authority have wasted my time. Two moths later a lot of time wasted and being over the amount of irritation is an understatement of trying to have a solution. I want a full refund or to have an actual professional to finish the job I originally paid for. I moved to British Columbia and having a Calgary store credit is NOT an option. Even if I was in a close proximity to the Calgary Porsche, they would be the last resort. It is unfortunate because there are many valued people that work there which I know and like. It is NOT acceptable to have paid for a service, and not have the job complete. Most of all it is not acceptable for a manager to not step in and help make a solution.

We are very happy to get the patient and friendly help from Mr Sebastien. We drove from Winnipeg, and we were very nervous because we first encountered a flat tire. But thanks to the Porsche Center Calgary’s help, we can drive back on the road safely!

First time Porsche customer and could not have been made to feel more welcome. Everyone from sales across all departments is welcoming and they are all great ambassadors for the brand. A welcome and refreshing change from the experiences at some other luxury brand showrooms in the city! What a great way to start a new relationship

I had taken my Cayenne to a European car specialty shop. They suggested about $4000 in work. I took it to Porsche for a second opinion and they gave my vehicle a clean bill of health. I was very leary as I was coming in from out of town but everything they did and said made this purchase a dream. I would have no refer anyone hesitation to the. Thanks again Jay, Melanny and Scott. Went in Saturday, dealer was not busy at all only 1 other couple looking at cars. Receptionist came to tell us and advised sales person would come see us ASAP, 10 minutes later no one shows we were ready to make a $200k purchase on a 2020 911. But won’t be going back. Instead are picking one up from Vancouver.

This was the worst dealership I have dealt with in my life.
I put down a deposit for a car during my first visit to Porsche Centre Calgary because I knew exactly what I had wanted, regardless of the fact that the sales person was very rude and looked down on me because I was a student and a newcomer to Canada. The salesperson was impatient with answering my inquiries and also mocked my English abilities. I had explained my dissatisfaction of the service I received to the manager at the time, however there was no follow-up after my visit. Not an apology, or thank you email for my deposit, or anything. After careful consideration, I decided that the car was not worth the frustration of dealing with the business so I went to get my deposit back. On the day that I got my deposit back, the salesperson went on to blame another colleague for lack of communication — this was not the first time. I felt like the employees there were quick to point fingers at their colleagues with no one taking responsibility.

Perhaps it is because of the fact that Porsche Calgary Centre is the only authorized dealer in all of Calgary area that the employees feel like they can treat their customers however they wish. They know that customers have no other choices in where they can order a Porsche so that they feel like they do not have to offer good customer service. I was extremely stressed about this situation and asked many people about their experiences when ordering their Porsche (people in the Porsche Club Wild Rose Region and my close friends who recently bought cars from different Porsche Centres in Canada). They were also shocked to hear about the service that I received and all said that they had received excellent service at the other Porsche centres.

I will never recommend Porsche Centre Calgary to anyone from now on. I would rather recommend them to order from Vancouver, where I personally had a far better service experience or to Toronto, where all my friends are very satisfied with their exceptional Porsche service. Thanks to the extremely poor customer service at Calgary Porsche, I had to get my deposit back, which was very hard decision for me because I had been a Porsche fan for many years. I will never consider buying Porsche again as long as I live in Calgary from this dealership.

EDIT: After posting up this review, the owner was quick to respond, however I'm wondering why they never responded to my prior emails when I tried to reach out to them before.

Been here a few times to look at the beautiful automotive eye candy. Colton was the first person i spoke with. He was very helpful and courteous. Unfortunately, I didn’t purchase a car, but i do recommend Colton and the team of Porsche Centre Calgary. I need to win the lottery.

We had a chance to spend some time looking at a Porsche Macan with Miles Mcewing on New Years Eve. Miles took the time to explain all the features of the car and the options that can be custom ordered. After chatting with Miles we realized how proud he was of the brand Porsche and it's heritage. We also chatted with Andy with regards to customizing a Macan. They both are very professional and knowledgeable.

All though we ended up not ordering a new one from Porsche Calgary this time, we will definitely buy from here in the future as I am interested in a 911 turbo soon.

The experience of meeting a few team members of Porsche Calgary was very exceptional. At no time during the visit were we pressured to purchase a vehicle. Great visit with no obligation.

We Just took delivery of our new 2021 Macan GTS. This was our first Porsche and what a great experience it was. Andy was our sales rep but everyone there was very pleasant. We had nothing but amazing customer service every time we visited Porsche Centre Calgary. Someone always said hi as we walked through the doors, but we never felt pressured or uncomfortable looking around the showroom. After a few visits and test drives, we decided to do a custom order. Andy helped us through the process, making sure we understood all of the possible options. During times when Andy was not available, someone else from the team stepped in, to make sure we always had our questions or concerns addressed. Everything was well communicated and explained. There is also a great kids corner, where our kids could play while we finalized our options. We especially appreciated the extended test drive, so that we were able to take home a similar model, to ensure our car seats fit with ample space. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our new Porsche, and with the team at Porsche Centre Calgary.

Amazing facility with a welcoming and friendly staff. No purchase this visit ;) but I can see myself coming back. They have a kids play area and made my family feel at ease.

My wife and I were looked after by Miles, Hugh and on collection Zack. We have had a truly wonderful experience! Amazing experience!

Me and my wife have owned Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Nissan as our previous vehicles but our recent purchase of new Macan at Porsche Centre Calgary ousted all our previous experiences.

A big thank you to Hugh Bullen who helped us personalize our new Macan 2019. With in depth knowledge of each and every single component of car he guided us to shape the car which fits our expectations. After our deal he kept us informed in regards to progress of manufacturing process.

Scott, who helped us with all financial paperwork and registration made sure that everything went seamlessly. He made us familiar with Porsche connect and My Porsche app as well.

Finally We met Zach who spent more than 4 hours during delivery of vehicle. All the executives who helped us were very knowledgable and passionate about Porsche.

This is our fourth new vehicle and all our previous experiences were positive but level of service and enthusiasm were exceptional at Porsche Centre Calgary.

I recently had the opportunity of buying a pre-owned car from Porsche Calgary. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. Colton made the whole experience extremely pain free and Scott was very knowledgeable/kind. The best part I liked was how every member on the team from the front staff to people handing over the car were all aware of what was going on and there were no confusions/hiccups. I had a small issue come up post purchase and Colton went above and beyond what was required to deal with the issue effectively/definitively. Again, I want to thank Colton, Scott and all of Porsche Calgary for their kindness and professionalism. I would highly recommend going in and having a chat with them even if you are looking for a preowned car.

Right from my initial visit Colton was polite, professional and very informative. I came back the 2nd day for a test drive and was surprised how easy this was to do, we struck a deal that same day and I collected my car on day 4. Everyperson I dealt with was curtious and professional, Scott and Hugh took care of the admin / registration and the process could not have been easier.

The delivery process was quick and easy and credit goes to Zack who explained all the functions of the car (there are a lot) in a very effective manner.

After this experience, which has blown me away I would highly recomend this dealership if you are looking for something a little bit special in product and service. 10/10 this dealership oozes class and professionalism!

Best experience I have had buying a car at a dealership. After searching for weeks for what I wanted and having all sorts of weird customer service thrown in my face, I walked in there and walked out smiling that same evening. Thank you Hugh.

Hugh sales guy was helpful and awesome except elder lady receptionist (I believe her name was Kim). She didnt look happy when we said we came without appointment as they are short membered on fridays. But then again we shouldve made appointment to make things smoother etc. Still overall great experience with Hugh! I would just like to share my experience with other reviewers. First of all- if you need someone to talk cars with- Lawrence is your man. It is amazing how much knowledge he has and he is very patient with someone who asks a lot of questions (like me).
The dealership is absolutely stunning and the cars are a feast for your eyes. I highly recommend a visit.
