Anne is the total package. Her grooming skills are amazing but what I value most is her familiarity with canine special needs and the gentle methods required to handle them. For example my veterinarian referred me to Anne because my 10 year old cocker spaniel was having seizures during drying a the fancy spa like place he'd been going to. Next to benefit from Anne's tender patience and skills was a traumatized adult rescue who has since blossomed, followed by a 15 year old cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy, and then his blind and deaf elderly littermate. Lastly a totally loving but bonkers serial nut case who has relaxed under Anne's care. It has totally be nothing short of needed therapy focused on knowledge, patience and trust.all achieved during monthly grooming sessions. Yes, I have allergies!

Do NOT bring your pets here. They think that it’s acceptable to leave dogs in crates in multiple vehicles barking for hours on end. They ignore the barks, but I cannot. They claim to be dog whisperers and can tell you exactly why their dogs are barking, but won’t do anything about it? If I have a screaming/crying child in my care; I cannot just leave them in the car while I go grocery shopping. The principle is no different here. They neglect animals. The pictures don’t show the dogs barking and screaming, if you need evidence of this, I’d be happy to share.

Best groomer in Edmonton. Anne has been grooming my dogs for 2 years and I won't take them anywhere else. They really like her, and they always look great when I pick them up.

8 years later and Anne taught me how to groom my dogs, so now I do my dogs myself. But I still go there for training, and I rent the back of the shop for classes or events. It is a great dog sport facility.

Best groomer in town, hands down. Anne is so patient and caring with my dog. She has done a great job with my Sheltie’s coat.

Anne is wonderful! She has cut our Bernedoodle 3 times now. He is a big shaggy boy when we drop him off & comes out a handsome well trimmed boy. We don’t want him shaved down & Anne always comes through with a great haircut.

The was nothing wrong with our previous groomer. They seemed caring and kind but we always had to wait for the cute to grow back. It always took a week or so. Not this time! I don't even know how she knew, but she gave the PERFECT cut! My Bella-butt came out looking so fresh and clean and sparkely! Pup-pop was ready for the ugly dog phase but instead, just keeps exclaiming, "BEST. CUT. EVER! " Before he gives her squishes.

I’ve taken my foster cat here twice now and highly recommend them! Anne is lovely, experienced, and so friendly.

Anne has groomed my golden retriever twice now and we will definitely be back again. My Gracie has so much undercoat that it is very hard to deal with when she is shedding. She now looks sleek and smells and feels fantastic! Thanks Anne with taking the time to make her look pretty again. You are a very professional and talented groomer!

Anne is sooo amazing with our doodle Lucy. We starting taking Lucy to Prairie Grooming off of a recommendation from our vet and Lucy was always so excited to see her. We moved to Calgary about two years ago and tried to find a groomer there we liked with no luck. We now drive 3 hours just so Lucy can see Anne. If you are looking for a patient and loving groomer who goes above and beyond to make your pup comfortable then you found the place. Lucy always looks her best when Anne is done and you can tell she truly cares about your dog. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an awesome groomer!

My dog has severe anxiety with grooming and Prairie Grooming was recommended to my by my vet. She is so gentle with the dogs, takes her time (as much time as the dogs need) and makes sure she is fear free. I drive almost an hour just to see her specifically! I highly recommend her to anyone with a scared little pooch!

This person advertises on other groomers pages trying to steal clients. Very shady, makes me wonder about this groomers business practices.

They host dog obedience classes, which should be named human training.

Definitely beneficial, cause my girlfriend is telling me what were been doing wrong.

Having tried other grooming stores from the Big Box to other smaller stores it was difficult to find a consistent groomer that made us almost as happy as our dog after arriving at home.

Ann always does a great grooming job with my poodles. She is very experienced and always listens to what I want done exactly. I’ve been using Ann for years and have always been very happy. The most important way that Ann distinguishes herself from other groomers is that she takes the time to ensure the dog isn’t scared. She has gone above and beyond with my fearful dog (letting me come with him for grooming, giving him treats and breaks) and I’ve always appreciated it. Also, when you go to Prairie you are supporting a working mother and female entrepreneur rather than a large corporation (ie.rather than going to Petsmart).

She also runs classes out of her training studio and I’ve been very happy with those as well. I’ve gone to a couple that Heather Edgar has taught and found her to be a very thoughtful and encouraging (force free) trainer.

I always recommend Ann whenever someone asks me where to get there dog groomed.

My sweet dog got such a great groom from Prairie Grooming. I'm thrilled with the service, and it ended up being less expensive than I expected. I'll be back again and again.

We have two rescue Alberta Specials who have some funky hair.

Our pups usually run around the bush, getting all sorts of mats and burrs on their adventures. When Anne is done, they could be first in show!

She manages to save their beautiful fanning tails, which other groomers told me had to be shaved off every year, and respectfully keeps the facial hairs that show off our pups' personalities
