Came in with a party of 4 for high tea.

Very classy establishment. The decor is warm yet formal. We particularly enjoyed the selection of unlimited teas and the platter of high tea offerings were very delicious and perfectly portioned.

The Espresso cheesecake, Egg salad and the salmon canape was to die for.

Stopped in this afternoon for a late lunch and a cocktail in the lounge to find that they now charge $10.50 for parking. So very disappointed in this change after nearly 50 years of coming every year. At the very least the parking charge should be nil if you are partaking in their services, especially meals. Not sure if they charge if you book a room, which would be ridiculous.

Iconic but tricky-be aware hotel is on a very windy hill, and there was no WiFi during our stay. Guests also have to wait in same line of cars with dozens of tourists stopping by, so it takes 20-30 minutes to enter hotel parking lot each time you leave and return. Food was fantastic, rooms and views wonderful.

Dump. Overpriced and wreaks of British entitlement. Stay in town & save yourself thousands. Nuff said.

Stayed here two years ago and rooms needed a bit of updating and maintenance. Granted, it was just after COVID so staffing may have been short and meals were not served in the restaurants then. Just came back from having tea there last week and the tea was wonderful with great atmosphere and service, expensive but worth the experience. Lobby and lounge with beautiful views.

Went with a friend for afternoon tea. Amazing experience. Service was wonderful. Since it is an older hotel, and it was quite warm that day, the hotel does get pretty warm inside. We're talking about visiting again for an actual stay during the fall next time when it is cooler.

Has been on my bucket list for over 40 years. Finally got to take it all in. This hotel is spectacular. But so are the prices!
If you go it's going to cost you 10.50 Canadian to park. Unless you just go for 15 minutes then it's free.
Gift shop is a bit pricey, I suggest buying the book about the history of the Prince of Wales Hotel. It's 20.00 but worth it.
Was unable to have high tea in the lobby, was booked. Which is ok, as they charge 49.00 per person!

We ate at the Prince of Wales twice during our stay in Waterton and it was amazing both times. High tea was wonderful in the dining room. The second time we had lunch in the main lobby. A tasty and large turkey brie sandwich that was reasonably priced. Staff were super friendly and the hotel location and view are outstanding. From our experience visiting the Prince of Wales should not be missed when you stay in Waterton. We will be back next year again and are already looking forward to it.

My friends and I came down from Lwthbridge for tea time for a birthday! It was really fun, yummy finger food and overall a good time!

Stay for two night without working WiFi. The surrounding view is stunning during the day and evening. The service is very slow in the dining room. The food is delicious but expensive. Elevator is cute and old.

Beautiful hotel, great views. The mattresses are old and need to be replaced, very uncomfortable. Otherwise, friendly staff and a really cool hotel.

The hotel is great. The charge of 10.50 Canadian to park is really outrageous. We wanted to get a drink at the Windsor. Have stayed at the hotel, but it is toooo much to pay for parking just to get drinks and go to the restaurant.

We did not stay at this hotel but we just visited. This is a beautiful and vintage hotel which was built in 1927. One of the must-visit attractions of waterton. Waterton lake view from this hotel is breathtaking.

We did not stay there but did enjoy high tea! We also went to an evening talk about the history of the hotel. Both were excellent!

I only went there for lunch. It is very eye catching on top of the hill besides the lake. Great location with beautiful views.

Quick stop! The hotel is beautiful and views even more so. Sitting area has board games and cards available to play for no charge. Parking is $10.50 for the day. Worth a stop just for the incredible view of the Waterton townsite.

Only visited restaurant (in the bar). Food was excellent, beer good. Enjoyed the atmosphere in this 100 year old hotel on lake Waterston in Canada. Service quite friendly and loved the tartans and kilts worn by the staff. Gave an authentic flair to this British motif. After lunch encountered a black bear on the premises. Bear crossed property between me and the hotel. Quite exhilarating actually. I will return someday.
