I am blown away! We live in Kitimat BC and the way your manager Alex helped us over the phone. Absolutely blow away by the level of costumer service to one's who travel and spend a fortune in your stores. Thank you so much Alex! Kaysha from Kitimat.

The reason is completely due to the service of Rob Jamieson.
We have a son playing Junior A in BC. He purchased his sticks here, along with other equipment, before his move to the team. Two sticks from Hockey Life broke immediately after season games began. Rob has done everything he can to ensure our son will still have sticks equipped for his level of play, and that we get our money's worth for the amount we have spent. Due to his professionalism and courtesy, we are still able to recommend Hockey Life to other parents.

As new hockey parents (our son hasn't shown interest in playing until 12 years old) we were not knowledgeable about protective equipment or how it is supposed to fit. After ordering everything we thought he needed online and arrived in store to pick it up, the employees offered to "fit" our son so that everything was correct. We were able to exchange a few items for better sizes and then made our way over to skates. The staff are clearly well educated on their departments, work together to ensure things are correct on fit and form, and we left incredibly happy with the price, value and help we received!

This is a great hockey store! Everything you can think of related to hockey, you can find here. It has an area where you can test out sticks and also see how good your shot is. Always a stop when going into that store. Good selection of skates for all age groups. Lots of selection for goalie equipment also. I’m sure if you don’t see something you need, they could help you out by ordering it in. I always stop here when I go to the mall. Good selection of jerseys from all nhl teams also.

I wandered into this store about 2 weeks ago with my wife casually browsing for a new pair of skates for myself. Now, admittedly to anyone reading this, I have only skated a handful of times in my life but I think I can offer a solid review of this establishment regardless. Here's why.to a guy like me, this place could seem a little intimidating as I know their typical customers are serious hockey players of all ages, even pros. But when I start getting into something I want to learn, so I approached one of the salespeople, Mike, and let him know my situation and that I was shopping for something entry level. Even amongst a group of obviously serious players / customers who were probably shopping for $900 pairs of skates, I was treated with the same care and attention that I imagine Johnny Gaudreau would have received. Despite the fact I was shopping for a $130 pair of skates (almost the cheapest) and even told Mike I wasn't going to buy them today, but would come back, he still was happy to let me take up a lot of his time asking a flurry of questions as I was trying to learn from his vast knowledge, which brings me to my next point. Good customer service is great, but when it's coupled with S tier knowledge, that's the golden ticket. I took a lot of Mike's time because I recognized very quickly that he had been in the industry a long time, had even worked with some big players (who I won't mention) and was passionate about sharing his knowledge.

Long story short, I never felt pressured and I never felt like was less important than anyone else>>>if the rest of the staff there is even half as competent as Mike, I think this place is worth your time.

And lastly to management of Pro Hockey Life, Mike is an MVP and deserves a raise.

Ashton was awesome. The guy must have got 10 pair of skates for me to try on. He just wanted what was best for me. Which turned out to be one of the cheapest skates there. Great guy. Really helpful. Thanks Ashton

Manager stepped in when it was busy and helped us with our skate issue. My daughter had wore through a pair of skates in 11 months and he had great knowledge towards the best boot for her level of play. I was so happy with our service.

All I can say is I walked in asked about warranty about skates that I wish I would have purchased with them and a assistant manger told me how it is with them and they would have warranty my skates with a general manager at sports check wouldn’t warranty in CrossIron wouldn’t do anything only had the skates for 5 weeks skated 8 times said sell my skates and he would maybe do something for new skates at pro they where all about helping me giving me the same deal when I got the ones at sports check all I can say is pro hockey is my number one place to go even if it would cost me a little more thank you all for your appreciation to customers and service?

It would probably be higher if I played hockey and if the staff talked to me when I've had to actually go into the store.

Reason I gave this store a 4 star review is because I was shopping for jerseys and I had a question but there were no employee's to help nearby.
Over all great place

Great store. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Joshua was a great help finding my son find a new pair of skates. There were lots of people trying on skates and he took care of everyone fast efficiently. Got the skates sharpened and molded for no extra charge.
