My favorite LGS in calgary. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great availability of ammo (especially match grade 22lr) and firearms.

Took in a remington 7400 270 in mint shape.they wanted to sell it for me for 425.minus 20% commission-minus 100 for scope and sling-minus 100 for extra mag.i would have got 100 for the gun.sell them on town post and keep the money to yourself

Great bunch had some issues with new dies purchased there brought back explained and showed they were very helpfull replaced with another die set top notch would recommend these guys

I’m a return customer to this wonderful little shop. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable in the shop. The quality of products and skill of the gunsmith and customer service people is top shelf. I bought an “antique” rifle from them today to eventually gift to my son (he is over the moon happy) and I trust in their knowledge of the fire arm and it’s original seller. You really do feel like a friend when you walk through the door. They even helped me into after hours to figure out a bolt issue with a 270. I really hope this shop stays in business for years to come. It’s my son’s favourite store in town. It’s small but I tell you it’s always my first stop before it’s competitors.

I have had nothing but good experiences with this store and staff in the last couple years that I’ve been going there. Excellent customer service is hard to find nowadays but they have it.

Quiet little gun store with everything you need.
I was helped by all the staff very rapidly. No wait times, excellent expert opinion. Did not pressure me into buying something more expensive. Very knowledgeable.

Best gun store in Calgary by far! Brian and the team there are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about everything firearms. They are always willing to chat and explain questions/issues, which makes every visit enjoyable. I've bought quite a few items from them and will continue to do so as I learn more every time I go into the store.

Great shop, they helped me pick and setup my first hunting rifle and threw in a soft case for free. They answered all my 1 million questions and were very polite and patient. Thank you to the brown haired lady (forgot to ask her name) and Aaron.

I had an exceptional first visit to this store today. Staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and professional. The old building also had a lot of rustic charm to it. I would rather spend my money here than Cabelas' et al.

Friendly, knowledgable staff. Great prices, consignment process is simple and gives piece of mind over selling firearms privately. Keep in mind that this is a small shop. You won't find the variety of a big box store, but there are plenty of treasures here non the less.

I brought my rifle in to get a few small things done by the gunsmith here. Service was friendly and really accommodating. Prices were really good too. Will definitely be back again.

Great little store, with a mom and pop feel.very helpful every time I go.there used section has some interesting older pieces.and they have a bunch of odd ball stuff like adaptors for old loading presses to take new shell holders etc.and the staff are very friendly and helpful, a wealth of info there if there not busy and get to chatting with them.highly recommend this place, it's my first stop every time I go to the big city to restock or buy new toys.

Ordered a rifle online that was in stock.paid for it and received confirmation of my order. Next day I go to the store and guess what? They don't have the rifle in stock, the supplier doesn't have it and basically they don't know when it's going to be back in stock again. Not cool since I wasn't notified at all by the store and I wasted my time to go there.

I'd like to buy local but because of this I had to buy this specific rifle online (in another province).

And please ask other clients to handle every gun as loaded and let them point the gun in a safe direction. I had a gun pointed at me 3 times by that older man in the store!

Informative knowledge with patience and compassionate customer service. Affordable prices with lot's of options to buy in the store. Great place for beginners to experts. Parking is best to get right in front of shop for easy unloading your products to store. Old school knowledge and is the right spot to get any help with questions in mind. The best place that I have been to so far. I felt welcomed when calling on the phone to walking through the door. I must say, for knowledge and authentic feel this is my favorite little gun shop in town. Access isnt the best, nor is parking but its centrally located and the owner/operator is great. Big focus on traditional tools and quality craftsmanship. Great place to take your PAL as well. Have to support small local business and this place deserves your support!

When I was entrusted with handling my Dad's estate, it including having to deal with my Dad's gun collection. I was extremely lucky to have been introduced to Mr. Brian Kent who owns Proline Shooters. Mr. Kent's knowledge of firearms was outstanding and I was extremely happy to know that my Dad's collection was in the hands of someone of his calibre. It was extremely important to me that this collection be handled with the respect and honesty that I was looking for. I found exactly that in dealing with this gentleman and his business. I like the vibe of this store! It feels like this is where real cowboys and hunters shop. It has a charm that the big stores do not have. I ordered a mossberg and got it within two weeks. The staff were very helpful and thorough. I will shop with them again!
