The best Tiramisu I’ve had In Calgary so far!

This place seems to have a thing for following authentic recipes and using the real Italian ingredients.

Apparently they import all their meats from Italy!

Date night was a disappointment tonight. Woman at the counter confirming our reservation barely said a word. Male server with a ponytail came in like he had a grudge. Was very short, abrupt and unlikable. Meatballs were good as an app, but there were only 3 vs 4 in pics with other reviews. Must be cutting costs. Pizza arrived cold, charred underneath, with cold congealed cheese and ham on top. Room was obnoxiously loud. Server needs better training. He was only pleasant when he gave me the bill

If you're looking for a truly authentic Italian cuisine, this is certainly it! Probably the best Italian food in the city. Fantastic selection, flavour exceeds expectations, staff members are a pleasure to communicate with and the prices are very good! Loved our team dinner here and we'll be returning for sure!

The lunch menu is a great deal (appetizer, salad and pasta for 21$ per person). Many options to choose from and all of them tasted good.

I really like the place but the food was not good unfortunately. I had carbonara which was extremely salty. The sangria was ok.
Overall, I think I’m not gonna try it a second time.

The food is great! I love the pasta and the pizza. The restaurant was a bit loud though, it was a bit hard to hear people. They remodelled and took away the booths, which helped absorb some of the sound.

Party of 4, and a never fail situation ensues… whenever the first one says her/his order, guaranteed, next one will say same order! Like a fun chain-reaction. In our case, special occasion, Mothers’ Day Lunch 2023, that was the case. Orders the you-can’t-go-wrong 3-course lunch special for $21.00! How insane is that price these days! Choices were all great. For me was, arugula & fennel salad-arancini & pesto fettuccine w/a side of anchovies. On top of that great deal, we had side dishes to share; specifically calamari (tender, fresh & delicious) + calzone, wood fire oven char & also loadedly delicious. Drinks here & there, Calgary sunny sunny weather, was just perfect. Finish it off w/a relaxing stroll at the Memorial park w/the sound of bow river currents… which was short walking distance away! Special occasion indeed, started off w/ a first time visit to this beautiful restaurant!

Pretty decent Italian food - my fav dishes here are the caprese salad (served with buratta as the cheese) and the pizzas!
The diavola pizza is amazing and the portions here are quite large.
No kids menus and don’t have pepperoni but have enough of a selection to find something for everyone.
Have been here quite a few times but today was definitely the best meal I’ve had there.
They are currently doing LOUD renovations downstairs - even on the weekend so keep that in mind if you are looking for a quiet or romantic experience.
Looking forward to coming back after the Renos are complete.

Was excited to try the pizza but was disappointed - I had a Margherita pizza and my friend ordered a Cotto pizza but the bottoms were burnt and on the salty side. Pizza portions are large enough to share with one other person but overall, taste was average and on the pricey side.

Margherita pizza was unnaturally soggy, there's not even that much liquid in the ingredients to begin with. Rigatoni was way too salty, server didn't really look like he enjoyed serving us, no smile the entire night and throwing the machine on the table and walking away. If I had to say something good it would be the arancini but that's about it.

Went to Pulcinella after a long time and we were so glad to rediscover this amazing restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. Their Arancini’s are THE best! Our server Giovanni was very sweet and accommodating. Wanted to try the chicken but it takes 1 hour to cook. Was disappointed to see that was the ONLY chicken option. Otherwise would definitely visit again soon.

Decided last minute to have some pizza with my wife! We read the reviews on this place so it was a no brainer that we dine here. It did not disappoint! When we arrived (on a Monday around 6: 45pm) it was full so we had to wait a bit. I recommend making a reservation even if it’s a Monday. The manager was super awesome though and made our wait worth while!

Once we sat down we ordered and I have no complaints! Flavours were great and the staff was so awesome and attentive.

Only downfall was that the bottom of our pizza was quite burnt. But, I didn’t complain because they were so great and I’d feel bad. We got it boxed up and when the server came with the bill, she informed me that the manager noticed it was burnt and took it off the bill! I didn’t expect that! I didn’t even complain and they took it upon themselves to make it right. Not many places will do that. The reason for this mistake is that they had someone new bring it out, who didn’t check the bottom as they normally do.

Wasn’t a problem at all though, everything was still great. I hope to visit Calgary again and try more off their menu.

We had their 3-courses deal and a pizza for lunch. The appetizer and salad were interesting and worth a try, but I won’t order them again, since they weren’t that special. But the pasta and pizza were great.

We went as a rather large group tonight (10+). Paul was our server and he was amazing! Always attentive and there before we even realized we needed something. The food was exceptional. Have to say my favourite was the Grilled Radicchio. 10/10 and will absolutely be going back!

Our experience could have been much better. The level of service and the overall treatment we received left much to be desired.

To begin with, despite the fact that there were empty tables on the patio, the staff refused to seat us, claiming that they were busy and we would have to wait for 15-20 minutes. It was frustrating to see half of the patio unoccupied while we were made to wait unnecessarily.

Once we were finally seated, the ordeal continued. We waited for an excruciatingly long time— a whole hour— for a single pizza. To make matters worse, when the pizza finally arrived, it was far from satisfactory. Not only was it not properly rounded, but it seemed like no effort was put into its preparation.

Throughout our visit, we felt disrespected, underprioritized, and overall ignored. The excuse given for the delay was that they were understaffed. Still, with a half-empty restaurant and everyone else getting their food promptly, it's hard to believe that explanation. How come it is our problem? Give a notice that pizza will take one hour, or make a note at the entrance. Not just pass by, why there were literally only us and one more table, when we finally received some attention, yay.

It is disappointing to have such an experience at a restaurant that claims to offer quality Italian cuisine. The lack of professionalism and the disregard for customers' satisfaction were unacceptable.

Plenty of other establishments in the area provide better service and a more enjoyable dining experience. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by seeking alternatives.

I ordered a pizza for delivery. Don’t do it - they didn’t bother to cut it into slices. Unbelievable. I’ll not be ordering from them again.

Felt like we’ve received the Italian version of passive aggressiveness. We arrived, there was a bunch of free tables and yet waitress told us to wait 15-20 minutes. We opened the website, did a reservation for the first slot open (10 minutes from our arrival) and they finally allowed us to sit.

Waitress avoided us all the time, and they took forever to do our order. Had originally ordered a caprese that was way smaller than I had expected. Wanted to order more food but the waitress never really came back to get my order.

Maybe they thought we’re not Italian or rich enough.

Definitely was too busy to attend us I guess.

Our waiter was really passive aggressive and condescending. The pizza was strangely watery… one could say moist. Will not be returning ESPECIALLY for that price. (The host was nice tho)

PS if you sit on the patio you will smell cigaret smoke your entire meal.

They're under Renos right now. So upstairs is your only option. Doesn't seat as many. But still the food is great and the service is great. They only have two types of beer because of Reno

Went here for a work lunch! Uugh, upset I didnt know about this place sooner. The food is flavourful, tastey, yummy yum yum! Def be back. 6/5 stars!

Ps, no matter how full you are, get the tiramisu!

Coming from an Italian who's pretty picky, this is one of my favourite places to go for pizza, pasta, cocktails, appetizers, you name it. I have had some misses here with the service and the cook of the pizza but my good experiences by far outweigh my bad ones. The vibe is perfect for a casual dinner or a more upscale night out. Their calamari is fantastic and I don't know what they put in their Aperol Spritz but it tastes just like the ones I had in Italy, other bars should take note.

Very delicious pasta. The appetizer was okay. The staff were super kind and friendly. The drink was good. Would come again. Their lunch menu for 21$ is very good, it’s difficult to get that much food at this price anywhere, very filling. We got there around 1: 30pm so it wasn’t too busy.

Headed to Pulcinella for dessert and drinks for my sister's birthday. What a great decision! Tiramisu was delicious. Everyone was so welcoming and celebratory. Really made our night!

This is the best pizza place in Calgary so far!
The taste is so fresh and 100% originally Italian.
The service is incredible, specially Mike.
Very recommended!
