I have never seen a place more passionate about their students.
My daughter loves dance but due to an injury I haven’t been able to walk on most days and parking is hard to find getting her into class was a challenge. I emailed asking to unenroll her and dawn moved mountains to see if there was anything they could do to keep her in class. I explained to her what was happening and she made it possible. They absolutely did not have to do anything not even say goodbye but the fact they even tried was amazing. 10000% recommend. My daughter loves dance.

Pulse put on a great breaking camp! Learned so much, had so much fun and had an excellent learning showcase on the last day. We're still seeing sweet moves everyday here.

I grew up dancing, every day of the week. It’s easy for me to say that not all studios are made the same. Pulse is one of a kind. Pulse is not only going to provide you with what’s current but will also educate you in the history of where the styles come from (that includes other elements of hip hop culture not just movement) Tara is an incredible human who has a skill for finding more incredible humans to teach you. I’ve had the amazing opportunity to dance with Tara as a kid and now as an adult, in her space. Pulse is clean, open and beautiful. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The biggest thing is that it’s a safe environment for all ages, your babies can dance here, or you can dance here. The atmosphere is exactly what you want with dance. A stunning all inclusive, positive hub full of talent and many opportunities.

All the staff and instructors at pulse studios have been nothing but amazing. Any questions I have they are always so quick to respond, it’s affordable, My son absolutely loves the days he gets to go to pulse studios and always leaves with the biggest smile on his face.

Our school had our Dance Residency with Pulse. The instructors were amazingly skilled and really connected with our students. We highly recommend them for future residencies!

I went to my very first class at Pulse Studios, and can confidently say it will not be my last. I have never danced before and went to Open House with Aris. Open meaning that it is open to all levels, so there was beginners to advanced. House Dance is mostly footwork, which I liked because I only had to focus on my feet and then I was free to move my upper body however I liked. The warm-up was fast, focused, and I got myself a good sweat on. The last half of the class we learnt a small combo and then paired off to dance with one another.
The thing I liked most about Pulse Studios was the energy. It was beyond inviting. It was the most welcoming studio I have ever been to (and as a yoga teacher I have been to lots of fitness studios). As a first-timer at Pulse and a very first-timer dancing I was a bit nervous before going in, but with this energy that all slipped away. Even after class, I stayed to mingle with everyone. Many of the regulars recommended other classes/teachers to visit. I am excited to give them a try!
Finally, my teacher Aris had magic energy. The perfect balance of grounded and energized. He is able to connect and stay with the class, while allowing us to go into our own little dance journey. Mostly, he was able to guide us to be present. When I was in his class, I never thought about anything else except being there in that moment. It was meditative in a sense.
I am so thankful to have given this a try and am excited to continue my own dance journey.

Our daughter absolutely loves her hiphop and breaking class with Eddie. The energy and positivity at Pulse is incredible. Eddie is so talented and you can tell loves what he does. The space is also amazing. Underground parking and a beautiful parents lounge while we wait.

LOVE this studio! Incredibly professional and customer focused. The whole experience from registering on the website.to walking in the front door.to the classes is really well done. All of the staff are very friendly and wanting to help; and the classes are fire!

Have taken 3 classes here and so far really impressed. The format of the classes are great, the instructors are knowledgeable and helpful, and it’s all around a positive atmosphere. The facility is very clean, including the bathrooms. Love it here!

I am currently taking classes at Pulse Studio and I have to say, I am having an amazing experience. The staff and teachers are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I initially came to the studio just to try something new and learn some dance moves, but after my first class, I was hooked.

Amazing friendly instructors and lovely welcoming people. Diverse classes that are very well suited to a wide variety of experience levels including absolute beginners and dancers of all ages.

No matter which classes, hip hop, house, Afrofusion etc, they're all so much fun and a wonderful workout! If you're thinking about trying it out even just a little don't hesitate.

I tried out the Infinity pass for a few styles I've been wanting to learn for a while, popping and locking, I really enjoy both classes and intend to continue taking classes, friendly, helpful staff and the owner is really nice, the entire studio is beautiful, cool and clean, teachers are on point and they are great at helping me easily grasp technique. They also have RNB yoga which I'm looking forward to trying out.

My kids are addicted to Pulse Studios. It is such an amazing place to dance, learn and connect with other people. My son has been going on and off since he was about 4 years old. It helps kids build strength, confidence and just have tons of fun dancing to fantastic music. My son just finished a spring camp and he's hopeful I book him for more soon. I highly recommend this dance studio!

TwerkFit with Siggy is more than just a dance class. It's like a therapy for boosting your self esteem, embracing your feminity and expressing yourself. She has build a community of women who can trust each others in a judgement free environment.

Our 10 year old just finished a week long "hip hop and make a music video" camp and LOVED every second of it. The group made their own uniforms for their performance and had an awesome week!

A great studio, young/cool mentorship and a completely great way to spend a camp week!

The beginner's classes are very inclusive and fun but still challenging. The instructors are very knowledgeable and great at teaching. The studio is very clean. Lots of street parking around the area.

I love this studio! I am an adult taking beginner hip-hop, which is obviously pretty intimidating. Everyone at Pulse makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend it!

My 7 year old son has energy to burn and a knack for dancing, so Pulse was a natural fit. Ryan is great with the kids and the class is 45 minutes which is the perfect length for the age group. My kid is getting exercise and cultivating a talent, what more could you ask for. Fees aren’t brraking the bank account either!

I’ve been dancing at Pulse Studios for 5 years now and everybody makes it an open and inviting environment. Every level of dancer is welcome to take class and have fun!

Pulse Studios has the most educational, professional, and highly esteemed dance classes I have ever been to! They have experienced teachers that know lots about all styles of dance! It’s a great way to get your sweat on, meet new people, and learn something new.

Pulse is an amazing place and welcoming family. Their expertise and quality is top notch. They always bring the best of the best and have Sho Tyme, a dancing legend. You do not want to miss out!

The owner told my friend the wrong dates of the competitions! I loved this place but sadly I can’t support it after what they did to her! She was so excited for the event but they told her the wrong dates for both concerts on purpose! The owner was jealous of her and told her to go at other times! I’m done with Pulse Studios!

This is our second year with Pulse- Evolution class. My daughter has been loving it and I think its because the people are kind and enthusiastic. My daughter wants to learn and work hard because of this. She has fun and these instructors are bringing out the creative side within her. I have never had to push her to go to dance. She wants to go. Additionally the instructors know what they are doing and have a huge history of dance experience. They know how to deal with adults and kids and their passion for dance shines. We've taken dances classes other places. This is by far the most positive for my daughter. Ryan -her current Instructor has been so great! She really enjoys his classes and says how nice and encouraging he is all the time!

I signed up my daughter for a week of summer camp at Pulse Studios because she loves music and dance. She was nervous to go but the staff were all amazing. They made her feel comfortable and by the end of the first day, she was hooked! From breaking to street dance, DJ scratching to graffiti, she is learning not only the moves and culture but the history of hip hop. This place is quality!

I've lived in Victoria, Toronto, Copenhagen and New York, and Pulse is hands-down one of the best dance studios I've ever been to. IN THE WORLD.

They walk their talk here: this is a place where a love of dance, community, and the values of hip-hop live strong. The teachers are incredible, and everyone from a beginner to a professional can find the perfect class to suit their ability. If you're new to dance, or dance-curious, this is a place where you don't have to be afraid. Everyone is truly welcome and encouraged. Come prepared to sweat and leave feeling elated.

I wish more places were like Pulse!

My son is LOVING the hip hop/street dance camp this week. We drive him in from Cochrane and definitely worth it as he looks forward to going. =)

This place is so great, it has a really good vibe. I've been taking House classes for a few weeks and I'm addicted.

My daughter is enrolled in the full day summer camp and she loves it! The teachers she says are really good and everyone is very friendly.

My husband and I have been looking for an activity we can do together for along time. We both love being active, but have very different workout styles. When my husband expressed an interest in doing dance, I decided to look into it, because we are not the ballroom or salsa dance kind of people. I stumbled upon pulse studios, and they have been wonderful! They have a wonderful first timers program for the first month and you can attend whatever street style dance class you want. They have been very welcoming and each instructor will break down the steps to make sure people are understanding the detail. We hope to continue to be apart of pulse after our first month is up! If you are looking into getting into street style dance, we definitely recommend pulse studios!

Such a great place for kids and adult hip hop classes. My daughter has been taking classes for 3 years now. We love the flexibility in level of commitment, quality of classes, and the whole youth empowerment atmosphere that this studio offers. End of the year concert at MRU is a real treat and we always look forward to seeing the performances of all ages and levels.

My kids and I have been dancing at Pulse for years. I LOVE this place. Unlike other dance studios that offer a little of everything, Pulse excels because they stick to one thing - hip hop. That being said, they offer so many different styles under the hip hop umbrella. This place is the real deal – not only with excellent instruction, but in providing a place that fosters the culture and community of hip hop. I love that they have a beginner class every day of the week, and that every teacher brings their own enthusiastic vibe to class. We’ll never go anywhere else.

I love this studio! As a beginner in dance, I admit to being intimidated by most dance studios I visit during my frequent travels. Pulse is one of my favourites for its welcoming nature (from the staff and other dancers), vibrant energy, and quality of teachers.

Great dance studio for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Hip hop classes are fun and challenging at the same time. Especially love dancing with Seb and Amy for Hip Hop / Strictly Steps. Highly recommended
