Staff & Veterinarian's are kind and professional. They are, apparently, incapable of giving a straight answer on billing (got told it would be so much by 2 staff members and a veterinarian but final bill was TOTALLY different. If you have unlimited funds, I would recommend Pulse but if you are living within your means, go elsewhere.

Finn (my handsome little black and white dude pictured below) has been seen at Pulse by Dr. Thompson and is currently under the care of Dr. Cyrus. Not to mention every other wonderful human from the reception team, to the assistant's and technicians in the back to numerous DVM's. Every single one of you have been nothing but wonderful to him and his brother Vinny (the big beast also pictured below). Drool and all, you have treated my 2 favourite guys like your own and for that I say thank you. Thank you for being there for them. Thank you for doing what you do every single day. You are all truly wonderful human beings.

Caring and fast service. Super friendly knowledgeable staff who are very kind. I would absolutely go there again if needed. We brought our dog in with what we felt was poison ingestion and the staff put us immediately at ease - it appears to be weed ingestion from something she ate on a walk. Staff see this happen 2-3 times a week. Please watch your pet carefully on the paths around Sherwood Park as unbeknownst to it was likely a discarded joint or gummy. Very scary to see the symptoms the dog exhibited. Almost like she had a stroke.

The vet that saw my pet told me it would cost thousands of dollars and sent me away when I told them I only had so much money on hand. I went to another vet and turns out my dog had an infection that was easily treated with antibiotics. If you value your pets life don't come here. The vet I saw only saw dollar signs when they saw me. The front desk girls were kind and helpful though.

My Pom was not feeling good for about a week, a day the week before he had throwed up. Been feeding him boiled chicken and rice, hadn't really ate anything for about 3 days. 4: 00 am he threw up and again at 5: 00 am, this time it looked like he threw up blood. I decided to take him to the emergency vet hospital. I live in Sherwood Park and did not want to go to Pulse in the Park. Have had very poor customer service with them. I went into Edmonton to Guardian VCA (have been to Guardian several times and always got great service in a minimal wait time), unfortunately they do not do walk-ins anymore, had a sign to go to Pulse in Sherwood Park or Vet ER on 178 st and 112 Ave, decided to go to Pulse in Sherwood Park and give them another chance. Got to Pulse at 6: 30 am that same morning, advised them that my Pom was throwing up what I thought may be blood, the admin staff there put us in a triage room. We sat there for 2 hours and 45 minutes and no one came to see us, at this point a staff member came in and said they were short on staff and that they would not be able to see us, suggested calling other vets in Sherwood Park and take him elsewhere. I replied with well why didn't you tell me this when we first came in and I sure you knew what staff would be in that day, I would have gone elsewhere, she apologized. I said this is not the first time we have been at Pulse and waited hours and then eventually walked out and went to Guardian VCA with our other animals. Very unprofessional and have no consideration for customers and their time. Our time is just as valuable as their time but they take advantage of the fact that we love our fur babies and will wait as long as it takes to get them looked at. I know my dog didn't have a life threatening event but am extremely upset in the way this was handled. If you can't see a patient then say so, then owners can go to a vet that actually cares about customers and their pets and gives them the care that they need. I WILL NOT GO BACK TO PULSE and would seriously advise other people not taking their pets there, unless you have hours to spend in a triage room waiting for someone to look at your pet and still have to go elsewhere to have your pet looked at. DON'T DO it you will regret it! Very unprofessional and uncaring.

We want to sincerely thank the staff at Pulse for their compassion and care of our cat, Lily. We contacted Pulse for urgent care when our vet was unable to help us right away. They gave us private time to say goodbye and made a difficult situation a lot easier. The card that Kaitlyn wrote really touched us and the keepsakes will be cherished. Dr Shaylee and Boyana were excellent as well. Pulse has an exceptional team, thank you!

Brought my bunny here for GI Stasis and they took excellent care of him! From the receptionist to the techs and vet, everyone was so kind and knowledgable. They really put us at ease knowing he was in good hands. They were very transparent with multiple treatment options and sent us home with everything we needed and a plan if he did not improve. He's doing well and we can't thank Pulse enough for how great their team is!

We’ve had a couple emergencies with my little conure and this hospital has been nothing but amazing.taking him right away and always giving immediate treatment and helpful care.the staff are compassionate, and informative.if you have a parrot, i would highly recommend keeping this animal hospital saved in your contacts, as they are sooo reliable!

Thanks to the wonderful staff and vets at Pulse who looked after my 13 year old cat Tilley! She came in unable to urinate, they catheterized her and did a flush and discovered bladder stones and infection. They kept her overnight and I was able to find a vet who did emergency surgery on her Saturday morning. She is home and recovering!

Our 4month old puppy became very ill. I took her into pulse after being misdiagnosed by our regular vet and not seeing improvement. Everyone at pulse was amazing to me and our pup. Dr gowenlock and Dr farrar were instrumental in figuring out what was happening with our pup. They also were great at answering large amounts of questions and providing sincere advice/options every time I called for an update. The vet techs and assistants also took such good care of our girl while she stayed in hospital. 4 days after discharge and with a substantial amount of meds in tow, our pup is finally on the mend and doing all the things puppies should.

Pulse is low on compassion and high on price. I had an over the phone consultation with a veterinarian who at the beginning of the call did not know my dogs history or information (although it was already provided) then asked a total of three questions to confirm that my dog was healthy enough to complete a dental surgery at a later date. This call was not actually required for my dog to have the dental surgery however the clerk made it seem like it was a requirement before going under anesthesia. The phone call consultation with the veterinarian lasted a total of six minutes. When I was transferred to pay my outstanding balance I was shocked that the charge was $178.50 Canadian dollars to have a six minute phone call. I did complain about the price and asked to have it reduced due to the lack of knowledge of my dogs history or information before the consultation as well as the duration of the consultation. There was no reduction in price and I was told that I would be sent to collections if I did not pay it. Overall I decided not to take my dog there to complete the dental surgery and was dissatisfied with my experience. It appears that pulse isn’t interested in your pets best interest, instead they are interested in their financial interest. Would not recommend to family or friends.

The doctors at Pulse took amazing care of our sweet Ivy when she was admitted for surgery to remove a sock she had ingested. The doctors were caring and upfront about the procedure and risks involved. They called daily to update us on her condition. The nurses were amazing and even sent me an update pic of our pup while she was in their care for a few days. They provided detailed instructions on aftercare and told us not to hesitate to call if we notice any changes to her health. Highly recommend Pulse.

Dr Smith and the team were able to provide the diagnostics that my dog needed (MRI) very quickly. She gave me (a veterinarian) the information that I needed to make a decision to attempt rehabilitation of my dog with a spinal injury. My dog has already shown great progress within 3 days of of providing her with physical therapy. The staff that we dealt with were professional, caring and compassionate.

They did quite well with removing the one quill I couldn't.

During the wonderful mixup of covid.they kept me waiting for quite a while.having said that, they called me to apologize and comped a portion of the bill.

My male cat had a urinary blockage on Christmas eve, they were non stop all night and we were still in and out in 4 hours. The staff here are seriously amazing upfront so was the techs. I have nothing but good to say they have compassion and care even when it was a busy night.thank you for helping my little fella

My sister brought her dog down from Yellowknife NWT, she sadly passed there due to her sickness. The issue was after she had been cremated my sister had asked to be called before they were shipped. As my brother would of been in town to pick them up which is much safer then shipping. My sisters pleads and her multiple check up calls were ignored even after she was reassured by multiple staff that they would call her before and a note was on her file. Then her dogs ashes were shipped without her permission. Now we are out of the country and unable to do anything as the package containing her best friend could be lost or damaged. I thought when we were at the building it was very well maintained but now we are all extremely upset with the unprofessional conduct of the staff.

I received incredible service from Pulse Vet when my dog ate a shocking amount of chocolate yesterday. He spent nearly 24 hours under their care. They were attentive, detailed, thorough, expedient and surpassed all of my expectations! Truly a world class organization. If you're ever in need, do not hesitate to take your pet to Pulse!

The staff - right from the receptionist when I called in a panic to the RVT's that helped us get my old boy from our vehicle to the VET that came to talk to us were AMAZING! They went beyond what I would have expected in an end of life situation. They gave us the time we needed to say goodbye and they answered every single question that we had. To the much needed hug at the end of this terrible heart wrenching night I could not say thank you enough. I was a mess coming in and and I was a mess leaving but they did everything in their power to make Drifter's transition to Rainbow Bridge pain free, calm and beautiful. Thank you for the compassion, understanding and empathy that you gave both of us. We had to go to Pulse in the middle of the night to put down our loved dog Stella. They made the horrible situation as good as could be. We got a private room to say our good byes and the Dr. Explained the procedure to us. We also received a very nice card a week later from the clinic.

Very poor, when asked to provide the test results on a dog in distress, this clinic refused to give the results. Claimed the dog had opioids and THC in its system. Took dog for an autopsy after it passed, it had a brain tumour. Obviously the testing was poor and not accurate.

This was my 2nd visit to Pulse, for a one-year follow up ECG on my kitty. After a very bad experience last year, I was hesitant to return but had no other option. I have to say, this was a tremendous improvement from last year. My appointment was at 9am and my kitty was taken in immediately.
I then received a call at 10: 30 that he was already finished. When I picked him up, I was contacted quickly and was asked to go in to the clinic to chat with Dr Hawks for results and follow-up advice. She and the technician went over everything thoroughly and were very kind and helpful. The results were immediately sent to my regular vet for ongoing care. I'm very glad I gave them another chance, and have no hesitation going back again for follow up ECGs.

Dr Casey Smith (neurologist) is the best! She is kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. My cat Shailer has some serious neurological issues, but I believe we have finally found the best place/person to provide her the necessary care.

I cannot recommend Pulse Veterinarian enough. All the staff, from the receptionists, veterinarians, nurses, technicians, they are all fantastic. Extremely compassionate, kind and informative. We had to take our little dog in on Sunday, worried about his health, what to expect and the unknown potential costs. We were really quite concerned, especially after our experience at a different emergency vet clinic in Edmonton. After a long couple of days we are pleased to say our pup is now in the comfort of our own home with a plan in place to get him back to health. We're still not out of the woods quite yet but I can confidently say without the help from everyone at Pulse we wouldn't have our little guy here with us today. Thank you all the amazing staff at Pulse Veterinarian for your continued support and compassion during this difficult time!

Had to take our bernedoodle to Pulse today for an obstruction, all the staff were amazing. Everyone was so nice especially Dr. Allan (sorry if I spelt it wrong). She was so caring and so easy to talk to. I never worried about our dog once. I was updated when they said I would be. Amazing service! Thank you Pulse for taking such great care of our boy!

They did everything right! Our dog met a Porcupine around 8pm. We got most of the quills out ourselves but there were still 7 remaining. Its important to get them our right away to avoid them migrating. At 9pm I hopped on the Henday with our dog. By midnight I was driving her home from Pulse with no more quills. Attentive staff. A consult with the vet Dr. Alan. Prompt service. Itemized easy to understand bill. Cost seemed appropriate for the services performed. I would not hesitate to return to Pulse for our next pet emergency.

I am so grateful for the care Pulse gave my Molly. I was given great directions, despite being incredibly busy they took care of us and kept me informed every step of the way. I felt my Molly was safe, in good hands and that made it easier when I couldn’t be with her. Molly is alive because of their excellent care.

I have a reactive rescue dog who in the past year has bitten myself and my girlfriend a number of times. He's been receiving training for his reactivity for the past few months and been doing great, today he attacked my other dog out of nowhere. This was the last straw. We tried rescues, trainers. No one would accept him and were told if he continued to bite after/during training. Euthanasia was the option as he has a history of biting people.
I called pulse to explain the situation, to see if they suggest medical attention for my dog that was bitten. Of course they would gladly take my money there.
I said the other dog has to be out of the house today and that I was told euthanasia was the only option if the biting continued.
They refused and said I would have to call bylaw as they don't euthanize for be behavior.
He is still my pet and I love him, I'd rather be with him when that happens regardless the reason but no I have to surrender him to bylaw to die alone. What a wonderful "vet clinic" so much compassion and care for the safety of other animals in the home.
Absolutely pathetic.
Would not recommend to anyone based on this experience even though I've used their services twice prior.

My dog recently had dental surgery at Pulse, their whole team from the staff answering the phones to the veterinarians were fantastic to deal with. Really appreciated their level of care and professionalism. Our pup is back to his normal self and we're glad we chose Pulse.

Everyone knows that vets are expensive; however Pulse follows he fee guidelines recommended by the Veterinary Medical Association; given this is a 24 hour emergency Vet clinic I expected much higher fees than I was charged when my “older” dog showed signs of infection.
The clinic staff are busy - almost all the time, but I’ve always felt welcomed and I’ve been treated with warmth and professionalism; I’ve felt front end staff as well as the doctors are professional, responsible, patient and listening to me even when I’m crazy scared for my pet.
I am very grateful that this clean, new, well supplied clinic is closer to me than the Edmonton clinic.
I trust the doctors here as much as I trust my regular vet to do what’s right for my pets.

We were referred to Pulse after our initial vet determined our 10week old beagle (Indy) had a heart murmur. Pulse was able to schedule Indy in with the Cardiology Team for an assessment (Aug09), where she was diagnosed with pulmonary stenosis. The Team explained the diagnosis clearly, and were very knowledgeable/experienced. Their compassion was greatly appreciated, caring for Indy as if she were their pet/companion. Pulse was able to schedule Indy in for surgery 2 weeks later (Aug23). The surgeon called prior to the surgery to explain the process, and followed up in the later afternoon to give us the good news that surgery went well. We picked Indy up this morning and she's recovering well! Appreciate the dedication and care Pulse has, thank you!

Update;
Our second visit was just as good as our first. We accidentally miscalculated travel time and showed up a hour early and the clinic took Auzzie in early to start his assessment. This clinic is fantastic and treated our fur baby with care. They answered all our questions and concerns.

My small dog (Auzzie) was referred to the Pulse clinic to see a vet cardiologist. I did not even know there was such a thing before Auzzie was diagnosed with a level 5 heart Murmur but I am so grateful that this caring clinic is here. The clinic is still following strict COVID protocols so when we arrived a very in-depth history was taken on the phone before they took him into the clinic. When Auzzie’s examination was completed, the cardiologist called us to discuss his treatment plan and his ongoing care.

Bottom line, I feel Auzzie got excellent care and I am so grateful that with ongoing care I will have my biking buddy for a lot longer

The compassion the vets and vet tech gave me was above and beyond. Coco had to be put to sleep. They let me be me I cried, screamed, and did NOT feel judged at all. Thank you to everyone whom was there with me and Coco. I will never ever forget all of you helping that night on August 16th. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me bring her home.

Pulse was there for us when our girl Willow needed help. They provided her with the utmost care and professionalism. When it came time to let our girl go, the staff were compassionate and helped to make the experience as easy as possible given the circumstances. No one wants to say goodbye to their loved animal, but I know Pulse provided my family with the best care possible. I appreciate all that goes into veterinary work. Our pets are our family. Pulse treated us with great care in our time of need.

My strongest recommendation 100%. After getting turned away from guardian vca and getting no response from the north central VCA at all, I was given the chance and recommendation to ho to Pulse Veterinary Specialists who did there absolute best and did everything to save my dogs life.
I truly am appreciative and so is my family for absolutely everything they did to help and try to save Zoe's (my dog) life.

Good customer service but they ignored a cut on my dog's eye. Charged $150 for exam i had no car so they let me stay in a room to wait. They claimed no cut on eye, but said the blood vessel was just prominent. Said no antibiotic eye drops. Place where I thought eye was cut was almost a cm away from the blood vessel. The vet never spoke to me before and vet tech did not explain to her where the cut was. Now my dog has eye infection and I can't afford another trip out there because my car is broke down.
Really don't communicate well and don't put much effort in.

I’ve waiting a long time to rate. But since my dog recently needed emergency attention, it reminded me how awful this exchange was with the receptionist at this vet. It was about a year ago, my dog ate something and had an intestinal blockage. I called this vet in the middle of the night. I was crying cause my dog was in so much pain. She gave me some prices and of course they’re double what daytime vets are at 24 hour emergency clinics. I asked her if they had a price plan. (She quoted me around 4000 dollars). She told me if I couldn’t afford it that euthanasia was always an option. I thought it was the most disgusting way of handling a heartbroken client. I can afford treatment for my dog but I think anyone can admit 4000 dollars is hard to drop in the middle of a pandemic. (this happened during provincial lockdown and my business was shut down). I’ll never call this clinic unless it’s my only option. Absolutely awful.

Woke up on a Saturday to find my fur baby cat with a gash on his leg. Called Pulse, they said come in. Even with Covid protocols in place, I still felt service and communication was exceptional. I felt relief knowing he was in good hands, and I didn't have to phone multiple vets to try and be seen on a weekend. Thank you staff and hopefully my pets stay healthy and not need emergency services again.

Brought in my 11mo husky mix with separation anxiety. He ate a Peach pit. They took him in almost immediately and induced vomiting. They were so good with him and comforted him. I know our pup is a struggle and I appreciated the vet and techs patience and absolute love for animals. He came out happy and safe. I'm so grateful for Pulse!

I have only good things to say about Pulse. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They were always willing to give updates on the condition of my dog who needed quite a bit of care for diabetes. Would highly recommend this emegency vet services. Hopefully will never have to use again but if an emergency situation occurs i would not hesitate to use them. Thanks to all involved in Beau's recovery.

I use to attend another Emergency Vet in Edmonton to see ophthalmology (Dr. BUECHNER). She moved to Pulse a while back, she has always been amazing to deal with and so personable. -

Recently my pup had to go back to Pulse as she broke her canine tooth, being the pet lover I am, I wanted to save the tooth if possible. Dr. LEWIS saw my pup and was very honest with me. She was amazing and referred me to every Dentist there was without question so my pup could maybe get in to get her canine tooth fixed sooner. Pulse was able to see me within a week, where my pup saw Dr. SAUVE. Him and his team were amazing! My pup had her consult on Monday, Dr. SAUVE came to our car and spoke with my husband and I personally about the options we have, he told us if we have any questions he would give us his card and we could email him directly.
My pup was able to have her surgery (root canal) the next day due to a cancellation. The team was amazing with me and my pup. My pup was scared to get out of the car the day of surgery and the team there was so patient with this. After surgery they contacted us to check in on my pup to make sure everything was going well.

Truthfully, Pulse has been the best experience when dealing with any pet worries:)

Update to my experience: May 25,2021 I was walking my pup and noticed her mouth start bleeding. Keep in mind this was a week after her dental surgery. - Dr. SAUVE stated I could email him if I had any concerns about Nala’s surgery and he would email me back. I emailed him at 2030 hours and he emailed me back immediately. He asked for pictures of her mouth to which I provided. He informed me just to make sure as pictures are hard to tell, he would have Nala come in the next day at no extra cost just to be 100%. His receptionist contact me first thing the next morning and worked with me to get Nala in. Nala was good, had a small object lodged in the open pocked within her mouth. They were able to clean it out and make sure it was good to go.

I honestly could talk positive and continue to leave a review. I am sure you get it:) Pulse is truly an amazing place with outstanding staff that make you feel so welcome and safe.

I was so scared when I showed up with my cat drooling excessively. I assumed it was due to her eating something she shouldn't have but was so uncertain of the outcome. The reception staff was so kind and accommodating. They made me feel like they would do anything to make sure she was OK. Dr. Lewis was spectacular. She gave me consistant updates throughout the day and didn't push any procedure. Just gave gentle personal opinions that I felt comfortable paying for. Babakey is back home, cozy, and healthy. I'm so grateful for the amazing staff at this establishment, they should all be very proud of what they do.

Staff, technicians and veterinarians were pleasant, sympathetic and went out of their way to ensure a prompt, thorough and efficient consultation, despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. My phone calls were always returned and my questions and concerns addressed thoroughly.
I am delighted and relieved that my dog has received the best care possible and will be able to live out her life happily and in the best health we can maintain together.

I have had to use this clinic twice with two different pets. They have always treated me and my pet with the utmost care and respect. They are very knowledgeable and make sure that the pets care and treatment is first and foremost. Of course being an emergency vet clinic they are a little more expensive than a regular vet but in saying that it's an EMERGENCY clinic and that is to be expected. I highly recommend Pulse for any emergency pet care.

We brought our little French Bulldog girl into Pulse based on the recommendation of our vet. They completed emergency surgery on her and took great care of her and kept us fully informed the entire time on how she was doing. Our story did not have a happy ending as we had to make the difficult decision to let her go. I can honestly say the staff and the veterinarians that we dealt with, made a difficult situation as easy for us as possible and we know that they did everything that they could to help our baby girl.
I would recommend Pulse to anyone in the Edmonton area for emergency veterinarian services.

Our puppy was recently diagnosed with a heart condition and Pulse was able to get us in promptly. They were AMAZING, kind, understanding of our neediness. We asked so many questions, called so many times and they never made us feel unwelcome or that they were annoyed with us. I'm thrilled they will be managing my floofster's heart condition. I feel so lucky to have been referred to them! Thank you so much ️

Vet called, was fairly pushy in trying to over sell their services. Tried to imply my dog would die if she didn't stay over night for $2500.

Picked her up a few hours later with the services i actually requested, and she's good as new the next day.

I feel a vet should be more about helping the animals, and less about trying to milk their worried owners for all the can.

My husband and I brought our cat Ivy to Pulse after she had gotten loose and was suffering from exposure. She was in a very bad way, and we thought we would lose her. The veterinarians and staff at Pulse immediately stabilized the situation. Over a course of several days, they were able to control a highly complex set of overlapping problems, getting each situation under control so that they could handle the next. Throughout the process they showed compassion for Ivy which meant a lot to us. The staff kept us updated and shared with us their thorough analysis of what was happening and discussed options for the next steps in plain language while taking the time to explain complex topics. Ivy has had a remarkable recovery and quickly bounced back to her normal self. We don’t think she would be with us without the care and professionalism of Pulse. We are deeply grateful for their help and have gladly recommended this clinic to our friends and family. We would use them again in a heartbeat if need be. A huge thank you to all the vets and staff. You are wonderful!

Brought my sweet Jasper to your team sat at 5 after a big board fell on his leg.
I gave all details to them. We waited 4 hours before you saw him coming back with a soft tissue damage for diagnosis, I asked if you felt he needed X-ray, Dr replied if you want to we can, but could be another 2-4 hrs.
I asked dr again if she truly felt it was bruised soft tissue, she said yes!
So I made decision to take him home.
Said I will follow up with my Vet.
He would not walk or put pressure on leg and always yelping in pain with movement.
Went to my Vet for assessment and X-ray. He has broken leg, they splinted him and within the hour I had Guardian Vets phone me saying they reviewed X-ray and said he was an emergency and they want him their to assess his bad break through consult in Am.
I felt My Pup Jasper was badly assessed by Pulse.
I’m very hurt by there overall assessment.

Pulse vet saved our dogs life early Monday morning and we are so thankful for their quick assessment and professionalism as they rushed him into surgery. We can never thank pulse enough, they saved Brunos life ️

I was very impressed with the care my dog received at Pulse Veterinary Specialists. She had to have an abdominal ultrasound and fine needle aspirations. The staff updated me on findings before I had even picked her up and were professional and courteous. The procedure was performed quickly and she was feeling great and not too sedated when I picked her up. I would definitely take my pets here for any diagnostic services without hesitation.

Thankful and lucky we have a local emerge care centre for our pets when needed When my pup was seen by the staff recently I was very pleased with the care and attention provided. They treated him as if he was their own pet and I've even had to call them with follow up questions in which they were happy to help and provide assurance and comfort when needed.

The specialists here are fantastic. Our little guy had surgery, and despite being young he pulled through. Afterwards it was found out that he had a heart condition, the team worked day and night to ensure that our pet would return to us. It was a difficult time but I couldn't be happier with the assistance and communication from the full Pulse Team.

I'm so happy that after the surgery the vets were in-depth with the post-surgery recovery and found out that our cat does have an underlying heart condition that we can now medicate and watch for.

I can't say enough except for thank you all. The staff is incredible and I would trust taking any of our pets here.

My cat was diagnosed with a heart murmur for the 1st time at age 5, I took him to see Dr. Hawkes at Pulse Veterinary, he had a consultation and echocardiogram, Dr. Hawkes was kind and personable, she explained the results in a way that was easily understandable and what the next steps were, unfortunately we won't know his prognosis until we do another scan to see if his heart condition has stabilized or not. The front office staff were able to submit my insurance claim electronically which was great as I forgot to bring one and live and hour and a half away.

Brought my dog in the other day and they had done all the test they could (so said) and all these X-rays and everything yet we still lost him 2 days later to cancer. It had travelled to his head and the Tumour on his back end ruptured. They missed the whole problem. I am disgusted. The staff was decently polite and nice but that’s about it. Definitely won’t be returning EVER as I know my pet will never be properly analyzed.

Took my dog here at 4 am (on a long weekend) after he had seizure. Excellent protocols in place during the COVID pandemic to keep us informed and up to date on my dogs status. Professional service, excellent explanation by the vet on causes and options. I would definitely recommend Pulse for emergency vet services!

So impressed with the team & level of care at Pulse! Our cat was in pretty rough shape when we arrived & they took amazing care of him - we are so lucky to have such a facility in Sherwood Park now!

I couldn't have had a better experience. Rabbit-savvy doctors are hard to come by, but I felt reassured by the confidence and excellent communication of the staff at Pulse. I didn't feel I needed to ask extensive follow-up questions to get the information I wanted; the doctors were thorough and patient. A special acknowledgment to Dr. Farrar, the first doctor to see Benny, who put my worried mind at ease. I felt sure he was in good hands.

Amazing staff, incredible team. After an unfortunate incident we had to rush our budgie Tata into this vet clinic with a severe cut to her wing. She had to be sedated and stitched back up, lots of risks when sedating a bird, we were very worried she wasn’t going to make it but she pulled through! She is now almost fully recovered and can fly short distances! So thankful to the staff of Pulse veterinary clinic for doing everything they did to save Tata’s life! And the support they provide afterwords is amazing!

My 14 week Yorkie had head trauma from falling off my couch. The technicians were absolutely wonderful in caring for my baby. They made sure to keep me updated on her progress and were always gracious every time I called to check in on her even though they are incredibly busy.
I 100% recommend this hospital to anyone wanting the best care for their fur babies.

Update:
My little one ended up having a liver shunt and was not head trauma at all. That being said.the staff were amazing in trying to treat my little girl. Unfortunately.we ended up losing her and again the staff were so kind and helpful during such a hard time.
