Punjabi Chulha Restaurant & Sweet Shop

I mostly order to the same restaurant, there service, food, and atmosphere all are best.
I really recommend others to try their food.

Most of the sweets are below average samosa's are ok. Don't even bother trying the fish pakora and most other non veg items!

Very delicious food, price is very reasonable. We came from Montreal to visit Calgary. Staff is very polite.

We tried mutton few days ago. Recently we ordered chicken tikka.
Chicken is raw not fully cooked and mutton was also too old it feels like we are eating rubber.
They do not use fresh to cook meals.

Most reasonable price with great service in calgary. Specifically, Uncle Aunty are very humble and polite.

It’s not your typical fancy restaurant but the food felt like home. Loved the saag paneer and bhature chole!

Update: I just saw I was changed twice for my purchase on my credit card statement. At the time of purchase, I was told the other transition did not go through, and was cancelled. Hopefully, I can work with someone to reverse charges.

Aloo tikki was a hit at our house.

Ordered shahi paneer and malai kofta…both were identical same grevy…. And the grevy too was unhealthy.could taste only heavy cream thats it.no taste or differences in two sabzi at all…veg biryani too was very pathetic…this is not authentic place at all…. I will never buy from there.

First time in Calgary, and I’m so glad this was the first place I visited! The chole bhature is amazing, and such a large portion. Also tried the paneer tikka and it came out sizzling. The server was so nice as well! Not sure why but the restaurant was completely empty despite the nice food- we went around 8pm

Great food great service very tasty like home. Server Jyoti and Harman both are very sweet and there service is great with smile. Must visit this place and enjoy tasty food

This place is the worst to go for any order. I ordered a simple take out food item and paid them more than $50. The got the order incorrect and claimed to fix it and when I got home they missed some of the key ingredients. I will never recommend anyone to go to this place for any order.

My favorite place for chole bhathura and parathas. Good customer service. Best part is chole batura available night time also. (no restrictions of before 5.00pm)

My family and I have been ordering larger catering services from Punjabi Chulla and have never been disappointed with the service Lucky provides.

The food is always amazing, portions are generous and the ordering through to pick-up experience is effortless.

We went to get snacks and sweets for the Diwali. The food was amazing and fresh but the place was really busy.

There's two stores.
One is a sweet house restaurant.
The other is a corner super market.
Both stores have outstanding workers.
If not sure just ask. Very helpful.
Not bad for first time shopping.
Woll ho back again.

Ordered Naan and this is what you get, half cooked Naan, I don't get it how come this kind of Restarurants are still thriving, The girl on the front was so arrogant as well, no smile on the face, Attitude as if she is doing me a favour by getting me my parcel. I Wish I can give them Zero star.

Their paranthas are absolutely the best. Within a period of 10 days, we came here for the parantha breakfast 4 times. The Gobhi Parantha, Mix Paranthas and Aloo Paranthas are tried and tested. Jyoti is a great server and she is a quite lovely girl who ensures everything is taken care of on time. Thank you Punjabi Chulha for all your services.

Food taste was not so good. But most irritating thing was the girl (age of 17-18 may be) was so rude and while taking order said "dso" and then " hor kuch". Is this the right way to deal with the customer?

This is the best place to get samosa and sweets. This is my regular place to have samosa and sweets staffs are very friendly and great customer service with sweet smiles on their face. One day I was there and unfortunately I dropped my wallet where all my credit cards, health cards myself and my kids, medical insurance benefits cards as well as couples of hundreds cash was there. I came all the way down South east had my dinner and noticed that I dropped my wallet there I called them and politely asked where did you seat? I explained and she went to check for me and said I found it I went there and brought my wallet love their honesty and love their customer service. I would strongly recommend this place.

My friends and I had such a terrible experience at this restaurant. The lady who took our order was not at all interested in taking our order and behaved like someone was forcing her to do this. Food was okay but the service was very bad. We ordered for biriyani and got it without pickle or yogurt. When we asked for yogurt, we were told to pay extra. I have never been to a restaurant where we have been asked to pay extra for yogurt that should be complimentary with the food we ordered. Especially when we spent like $70 plus there. We also found a strand of hair in the naan; they replaced it after we told them but they were least bothered and didn't even apologize. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone nor would I revisit ever again.

Purchased Chocolate Barfi from Punjabi Chulha and the taste was pretty inadequate. You can feel raw sugar crystals in every bite. The servers are never smiling and don’t expect any good customer service.

Such a filthy restaurant. Just went there. Floor was too slippery and greasy. Server handed the dirty menu. Tables Nd chairs were dirty. Couldn't sit more thN a minute there. Please dont go there in this covid time

Just discovered this place while working across the street from them. Also just added this place to the list of places I will go out of my way to get food from. And with the pricing it seems like they're almost giving the food away.

I love in Toronto GTA. I was in Calgary last week to meetup my friends. I got a chance to taste their parantha and some sweets. Everything I ate was delicious. Their customer service is commendable. Highly recommended

Food is sort of ok. But when only come here when u have plenty of time and something to eat while you wait to get serves. As there 20 minutes are like 50 minutes and if u have ordered picked then just forget it. It might will take hours amd hours amd whenever you will ask them.they have same answer. 10 MORE MINUTES. Disgusting.no value for time.

Best Aalloo Parathas in Calgary, also tried Dal Makhani which was equally good, trust all other dishes will be good as Parathas. Best wishes and keep the good taste and quality going.

The food was very good just like authentic indian food! Chicken tikka and butter chicken was to die for! Definitely coming back!

Birthday Dinner Spoiled! Felt ashamed in front of my guests. I ordered shahi paneer and malai kofta and find no difference in gravy. I have tried lots of restaurants and this is my worst one. I suggest order your food from Rasoi. I also ordered veg Biryani and OMG very low quality rice were used and on top of it they were uncooked shame total shame. When you listen thier add on radio it says " Than than tai kha ke vekha but punjabi chula jaisa swaad kahi nahi" total joke. I also noticed a couple trying thier sweets in shop and said thier sweets were bitter in taste and left without taking anything from shop. Seriously i was nervous from that point and at the end it was total waste to order my child bday party food. I will never go and never suggest anyone to go to punjabi chula. By the way my friend was about to order food for meeting of 20 people and thank god he tasted your food and will not order from your resturant.

Been to many Indian Restaurants in Canada but this Punjabi Chulha Restaurant is the Best so far, good food, good customer service.

Very slow service. It's every time. Even you Order 2 hours before still you go have to wait. In 5 years it never happened even once that food is ready on time.

Fantastic food for the price charged. We had veg thali and it was more than sufficient food to fill us. Loved it! Will be coming again

Owner (Uncle) of the shop is very nice, humble and kind. He is truly about his business but also his priority is customer satisfaction. He always served me with smile whenever I went to his store for Tea, samosas, sweets or even for a dinner. I would highly highly highly recommend to visit Punjabi Chulha. I can bet you won't be disappointed. It will be worth of your time. 5/5 for overall, I will be visiting Punjabi Chulha every single time when I'm in Calgary. I will recommend Tea, any sweets, samosas and in for dining Goat Curry and Chole Bhature.
