The food was very good. But I ordered samosa and I got Samosa Cholla instead. But it was good

Total waste of money, the place is unhygienic the food is bad, they don’t cook anythinh fresh, I don’t understand how people even eat there, i saw alot of people going in & out so thought of trying some snacks, i bought kachoori & it was cold like it was taken out of refrigerator and the golgappe were all broker poor packaging

Unprofessional-unhygienic- rude- zero customer service-, I worked there its a hub for diseases, if you want free infections/ diseases please visit there and have alloo tikki which are usually rotten and stale! No oil filteration, luckily I quit the job after one day. I already complaint FDA. Most important Mr. Old man please learn some manners, don’t run behind money always.

I visited many times.
I like all the dishes chhole, Samosa, Dahibhalla and also like Mango lassi etc.
Must visit this place for our Indian foods.

Tasty food. The butter chicken sauce is delish. Goat curry was tasty too. Garlic and plain naan were good. Great place for Indian sweets.

We ordered two samosa chole and aalu tikki chole. Aalu tikki bowl has hair in it. We phoned them to just inform them about it not asked for refund or anything. They replied why you didn’t tell us yesterday about your complaint. Is this a correct response from owner? I am not expecting these things from them. At least you should tell sorry. I was not thinking to put review before this conversation but I have to do now. I am so disappointed…. Bad experience never order again

Close friend of mine recently bought a house. From my understanding, this warranted some sweets as a good gesture.

Being from a different cultural background, I had no idea what kind of sweets to choose. The staff at the time was very unhelpful and frankly, rude. Pretty obvious I needed a little extra assistance considering the nature of my situation. To make it easy for the staff, I requested an assortment of sweets with no preference. Middle aged lady made it sound like it was an outrageous ask.tried explaining my request, ended up having me randomly point at sweets (I just chose the colourful ones haha). I was nothing but kind, even upon leaving I was the one who said have a good day.this review is a testament to my "buyers remorse". After observing how she treated the customers before me, I can't help but feel slightly targeted. Perhaps they just don't serve my kind. The Lady tossed my box of sweets onto the table like a wet paper towel.

To note, I have eaten here in the past and the food is honestly good. Just a pity that my wallet cannot support those who belittle their customers in such a manner. However, made my friend and their family laugh when explaining my Wonderful experience. (Worthwhile in this sense)

Very bad experience we ordered kachori and we asked that guy that it is fresh or not we spent 14 dollar on this item I want to say just one thing how can you give this ridiculous item to customers

We went there for the first time we bought milk cake and barfi (sweets) but when i open the box at home it has bad smell, the taste was really really disgusting. We spent 28$ for this shitt. I will never visit them again…Highly dissatisfied

Last night we placed the order to go for Makki ki Roti and saag, but don't you guys think that at least you could serve salad with it!

Very bad customer service over the phone. The person who picked up my phone was very rude when I asked if there was any buffet available, reply I got was no buffet in the rudest way possible and hang up my phone twice when I called again. Punjab sweet you should treat your clients good and communicate in a professional manner. Glad I didn’t go there and won’t recommend anyone. We are paying money for the service you give you, it’s not like we are getting free food from you… learn customer service first to begin with before you run a business!

$10 for one paratha and small side of yogurt. Never heard these insane prices in my life. Should come with at least 3 paratha for that cost.

Just ordered a thali from ubereats. Food was stale and they didn’t even give full naan like other places. Quantity was literally disappointing. Will never order from this place again

Great shop for indian sweets and food, fair prices and clean/well-presented shopfront! Went on Vaisakhi and they hads lots of food ready for order too. Would recommend

I ordered through phone and told the owner three times but still gave me the wrong order. I still waited for 20 min over there but they end up giving me the wrong order. When i get home then check the food and i call them and he started speaking arrogantly and not admitted their mistake. Also, the food wasn’t even good. Don’t waste your money and time. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

Nice taste.quantity was less for kofta but it's ok.hardworking people.really liked this small restaurant.

You have to pay extra to dine in? I bought a samosa and had to stand outside to eat as the old lady was charging ma $3.50 for 1 samosa instead of. 80c

I order from Uber eats. A Aloo Paranta and Gol Guppa. I made special requests. They were fulfilled. They made it exactly how I asked added onions, methi and light spice. The dahi tasted homemade (just like my Moms Homemade). I had leftovers it was so much Paranta. I ate the rest the day after & it was crisp and delicious. Thank you Alp Ka Ji!

Food wasn’t fresh either. Worst samosa & chaat paprii i ever tried. Felt so much hurt burn and stomach ache

This place is so bad. I ordered gol gappe and tikki. Couldn’t even finish tikki. White channe looked so old. Please make fresh stuff for customers.

Food quality is horrendous. We found metal pieces in our food in 2 different occasions when we informed the owner, her reply was ‘Ohhh I will check with the kitchen, I will tell them’. That’s all, not even a SORRY or any sort of apology. Looked like this was a regular practice for them and they take it very easy. Super unhygienic and fails in food safety standards. Doesn’t deserve even a start.

Was looking for a good veg thali to order for takeout and decided on this place as the other place I called gave bad customer service. Everything is amazing! It came with rice, simple salad, naan, dal, saag paneer, and another vegetable dish I can't quite recognize. Some of the best Indian food I have had here in Calgary and for an amazing deal. At first I was disappointed I got saag paneer vs shahi (it is chef's choice) but once I took a bite I was very satisfied. Highly recommend and will be ordering again and telling my friends.

Edit: ordered again a couple days later (couldn't stop thinking about it) and got shahi paneer and aloo gobi, the Shahi paneer was sweet and creamy and perfectly balanced, the aloo gobi was spicy and the flavours were just right. Dal was even better than last time. 5 stars again!

Owner Show too much attitude as he is the only restaurant in the city. I took KEEMA naan which was not cooked properly, side yogurt was missing. I called him regarding this and the owners started to show too much attitude instead of talking politely. He started yelling as they don't care for their clients. DON'T KNOW HOW TO BEHAVE.

I love this place. The sweets are so good and Biryani is my favorite order. They have for vegetarians and meatlovers.

A co-worker used to bring samosas from this place for us to share at work. Today 5th October 2020 I went to buy for myself 6 chicken and 2 vegetable samosas. Got home and had one of each before deciding to put the remaining in a container. When I emptied the paper bag with the veg samosas I could not believe my eyes. Left over fries and salad were at the bottom of that bag.
If they cannot simply ensure the food packaging is clean, then it makes you wonder just how clean the food is or their kitchen.
I am totally disgusted and wondering what dirt we have been eating all along.

From outside the place looks okay. But insdide the food is the best acoorrding to what they charge. Best Tikki.

We love this restaurant. They have by far the best samosas in town and perhaps the best restaurant samosas I've ever had. Highly recommend.

Their sweets selection is really good, it's always busy but the service moves remarkably quick. The owner and staff clearly know what they're doing and I will never go anywhere else in town for. Indian sweets and appetizers. I haven't had any entrees from here but plan on having some eventually.

Worst experience of take out food ever had from every other indian cuisine. Don’t know how to deliver food properly either they have changed the staff or became careless.

I went there for a good tasty meal (my first time) I ordered daal and veg samosa it tasted good, but when I got home I went to the bathroom, and my butt was burning. The next day I went to the doctor he said I had dirrera I brought medicine. I am not happy please make your food less spicy or else you will have the worst day ever.thank you

Homely taste. Authentic food and very courteous staff. Cooks are old ladies so you get authentic taste for each item. Their expertise is reflected in the taste. If you are in Calgary this is a must place to eat.

Authentic Choley bhature.freshly made and good taste. Indian sweets are also good specially the baalushahi.must try!

Food was really amazing. They did catering on 20th April last week at my house. Everybody appreciated meal. I wish this restaurant be more successful.

WORST restaurant/sweet house in calgary.i dont even know how these guys are still in business.i would suggest everyone to stop going to this place.they lie about smallest things and its never their mistake if you point something out. NEVER will i go here again. Another incident was they gave me literally 2 tablespoons worth of sweet sauce (yes, measured it with the spoon) with 12 samosa.when asked what is this.they said its business if you want more.then buy it!

Had terrifying experience. I went along with my friends and we ordered samosa with chick peas. Found a LADY BUG in the samosas.
When we politely asked one of the staff member to inform management about it. They completely ignored it and the staff were saying things such as “What do they want now”.
RIDICULOUS.
I don’t know how they are still in business, most of their reviews are negative.

Terrible customer service! We will never get food from here again! We found a hair COOKED into a samosa which I was in the middle of eating. I called Punjabi Sweet House and spoke to the owner she was extremely rude. I told her I found a hair in the food and she sarcastically asked if the hair was in all 20 samosas we ordered. Obviously that was not the case but instead of rectifying the issue she began to argue saying people make these mistakes cooking at home all the time. BUT this is a BUSINESS you are selling food. Yet she continued to argue. I have never encountered such awful customer service, she was rude, and I would advise you to think before you order here. I am completely shocked with how she spoke in a customer service driven industry. Don't order food from here!

This place has the worst customer service. The auntie is rude and speaks like a unphar Janani. Learn to speak to customer and there food is not consistent.
