Went there this morning at 9 am, while missing my morning classes, to wait in the lobby for about 15 minutes until a receptionist showed up. There were also some other 4 people waiting in line. Briefly, they opened at 9 am but there was no one at the reception until 9: 15 am.
Also, we needed to book the next appointment for April and their availability was very limited. When we tried to book something in May, we were told that they cannot book anything past May 3rd, 2023 as their ``schedule is not up yet. ``

I recently moved to this location because I had moved but the staff are just as friendly as the South side location. The last visit I had, someone didn’t put my wire on correctly. So today I came in to get it redone. I believe her name was Becky, if not I’m sorry! I will be better at names! She was very friendly and was probably the best person to ever work on my teeth out of the 11 months of my treatment. Very knowledgeable, very fast, and was very painless, she definitely knew what she was doing. I liked that she explained the process as she was working on my teeth. I was out in 10mins.

I had an amazing treatment at the west location! They always make you feel so welcome and all the staff are very friendly and nice! Doctor p and doctor h are the best orthos around hands down.they are both perfectionist so you know at the end of your treatment your teeth will look so perfect! Thank you to the pure ortho team!

The wait time is crazy long! I do not recommend this place but I kinda stuck with their retainer program.

Treatment wise.they were good. My only issue was that I had to leave Edmonton to move to Toronto because my mother in law has cancer and my husband which is her only son here had to move closer to her. This was beyond my control. I explained it to them.
Moving means u gotta search for a whole new orthodontist, and it’s like you’re starting a treatment back from scratch so that’s another $5000-$6000. I had to find money to get someone here to see about my braces and still have to be paying pure orthodontics MONTHLY for doing nothing and paying the one here monthly. That’s almost $550 in all I’m paying out of my pocket for both. PO don’t GAF but just money grabbing. Like it’s so unfair to myself and my family. Moving was beyond my control. I’d thought they’d understand that but still expecting me to find money every month to finish a treatment that they’re no longer doing for me! Smh!

Had my metal braces for 2 years and been visiting the west location every time. Wait time is ridiculously long, I was 8 minutes late and I had to wait 50 minutes (not the first time) to see someone for the adjustment. You pay over 7k and they treat you like you're just another number. Do not recommend this place if you're getting braces.

Dr Amir is a fantastic Person. He helped me out in a time of need. His staff are also very helpful and kind. I will definitely be coming back here if I need any Orthodontic work. Thanks again Amir!

My wife has the permanent retainer on the lower teeth after her braces were done over a year ago. However a large portion of the glue started to wear off and the remainder could barely hold up the retainer. So we dropped by and ask what could be done and got an appt for the next day to come in. The doctor and staff were super friendly. The doctor took a look then suggest that because one of my wife’s lower front teeth was removed for the braces he’d need to custom make a new retainer to better fit the teeth’s curvature. After 30 mins the work is done and free of charge. I’d rank this high in customer service.

Pure Orthodontics Staff are always welcoming and friendly. I got lot of issues during my treatment and everytime I called them they are always prompt and make sure that I was treated on time, and explained properly. I highly recommend this place for any ortho concerns or issues.

Dr. P and his west end staff are always so kind and take the time to answer all of our questions. We love it there and highly recommend it.

I highly recommend this for orthodontic needs. We tried three different offices before landing at this one. There is no high pressure sales techniques, like I have found at other offices. They’re happy to treat my daughter’s current issues and continue to evaluate verses pressuring us to start expensive treatments. We never have to wait long for our appointments And the staff are courteous.

Worst experience with this office and dentists. Every time I go I see a different dentist. The female orthodontist in the north office was the nicest. My teeth look worse now than when I started with tgem. Highly recommend you get another opinion somewhere else.

I started my journey with Pure Orthodontics in 2016, my treatment took a little longer than expected, however the staff were/are very accommodating and supportive, always eager to serve and very respectful, at the end of my journey I am 100% happy with my results and recommend them without hesitation to everyone that needs Orthodontics work done. Both my kids finished their ORTHO treatments here and the results are great. The assistants are super friendly and front end is very accommodating. I was gonna put 4 stars because of the hiccup we had with the financial department but we’ve resolved the situation and from what the nice gentlemen (their financial management) had informed me, they are doing their best to improve how they approach patients and parents to ensure they are confident with their decision and are happy with the end result, experience and leave with a great smile. With that I think 5 stars is deserved as they went out of their way to admit their wrong and fix the problem.

Everyone that works here is friendly and polite! Jessica helped me get my Invisalign sorted out and she couldn’t have been more helpful and kind during the process! Would recommend to anyone:)

Had nothing but good things to say about Pure. My experience with them the entire time was good. Any concerns I had was always fixed at that appointment.

Appointments are always late! I will always arrive 5 minutes before my appointment time and end up waiting 30 minutes to an hour just to get to a chair. Staff forget to call me to arrange appointment once my retainers arrived. I waited 3 months for something that was only supposed to take 6 weeks. Desk staff do not take accountability for their mistakes and just smile it off like they did not just cause you any problem.
You will be treated as a priority in the beginning when they want your business but once you sign the contract and your payment is taken they treat you like garbage. I am just glad I do not have to deal with this business anymore and wish I listened more to the negative reviews when I was researching a place for invisalign.

Please run from this brace factory.or at least get a second opinion before you agree to their treatment plan. We were referred here by our dentist. I have two children (11 and 9) who have been on surveillance for the past two years. During our first visit the Orthodontist asked my then 9 year old daughter if she "wanted" braces. This alone should have made me run away. Who asks a 9 year old if they "want" braces. I looked at her and said "or do you want to go to Hawaii? " The only reason we went back (three appointments in total) was because there was no charge so I didn't see the harm. Our latest appointment this February the ortho wanted to start treatment for my 9 year old. My son and I were taken by a salesperson to an office where she told me that my son needed to have over $5000 worth of orthodontic work done now and then more in the future. While my son and I were with this "salesperson" the orthodontist went up to my daughter and asked her 5 times if she wanted braces. Who does this? (She has beautiful teeth with just a little bit of crowding on the bottom but nothing crazy.she is also only 11 and has a bunch of loose teeth so I don't think it is anything that needs to be addressed at this time.) Anyhow, the salesperson told me she would email the treatment plan and costs associated (I still have not received this information) I left this visit with a very bad taste in my mouth and went to get a second opinion for my son. This second opinion appointment was a completely different experience. I left knowing exactly what the plan would be and what to expect cost wise (it's a completely different plan that as of now only includes dental work). Please, please trust your gut and go somewhere else. I tried to give this place no starts but it wouldn't let me

Went in for a consultation with the orthodontist and was given a very honest opinion. He referred me to a different specialist that would suite my situation better. I would recommend Pure Orthodontics to my family and friends based on my positive experience today!

I LOVED the visit I had. I had gone in for a second opinion for my son's braces that I got elsewhere and I wish I had gone to
Pure Orthodontics first! I would ONLY get it from there. The Doctor I met has 35 years of experience and explained everything
so properly wayyyy better than my son's current Orthodontist!

First time there today and they are making my dreams of straight teeth come true, they are so nice, accommodating. Im very happy with this office!

I would not recommend going to pure orthodontics. What was suppose to take 2 months to correct has now been a year and a half. I was originally suppose to have Invisalign, but because they took so long between appointments to book me and get the Invisalign made, my teeth kept moving back. I was suppose to get braces for a short amount of time, which turned into having appointments every 5 weeks (which again is too long apart). They still charged me for the Invisalign which didn't do ANYTHING. Yet the prices of braces are cheaper. If I knew that braces would have been faster I would have taken that option. Not to mention they are ALWAYS late for my appointments. I never get in on time, I always get in 45 minutes AFTER my scheduled time. I have had a terrible experience with pure. Their staff are friendly, and it's very clean, but it's been nothing but a waste of my time.

Very kind and honest staff! Highly recommend, I definitely will bring my kids come back! I was visiting Pure Orthodontics West Edmonton this morning, after the first consultation Dr. Mo Alsaleh told me according to my daughter’s teeth is too early to have braces for Her, let’s just wait another six months and see! Oh, my god, I have no idea why the other Orthodontist from other Dental Clinic let me start brace for my daughter as soon as possible and ask for payment right away! I can see that Dr. Mo is a really nice and honest person, highly recommend!

Both my kids love coming to their appointments in the West location. The staff makes them feel super comfortable and makes them laugh. It’s so much fun to watch. Even I get excited, coz the staff is so much fun to chat with. And I especially love looking at their progress photos. When there’s the slightest concern they address it right away, its very refreshing coz you know they listen. I’ve never experienced any issues again. Only negative thing I can say is that they’re always so busy but we never feel rushed when they get seen. I guess it’s not such a bad thing coz I know they do such amazing work that everyone wants to see them. I also referred them to so many of my friends and family and will continue to because of their great work and friendly staff. I am so happy we found this place!

Well my son went to the first appointment and they told us they will call us for the second appointment in 5 weeks have been 2 month so I call and I said we haven’t get a call because my son need an adjustment and be new brace in the bottom teeth well they don’t have appointment until a month later. I think they need to update their system first why tell the clients to wait until they call u for appointment this it’s a serious issues the adjustment it’s every month should be organized your system by client and why they told us to wait until they call us. So irresponsible I did call and to see a month wait very irresponsible. I am very disappointed. This is not just seeing a dr

One of the best orthodontist office we have been to in the city. All the front staff and hygienists have been great to deal with and my daughter enjoys coming here to get her braces looked after. The main Dentist is funny and always a pleasure seeing him and makes the visit so easy.

I will be honest, when I first arrived at Pure Orthodontics, I was a little bit skeptical. Given that there are multiple locations around the city and the general layout of the reception area, the office initially reminded me a bit of a medicentre and the rather young reception staff took me a little bit by surprise.

HOWEVER, as soon as I went to the back for my consult, everything changed. The dental/ortho assistant that took photos for me was was friendly and attentive and easy to explain my issues to.

Dr. Paul Puszczak, the orthodontist I saw was also great. He's been doing orthodontics for 30 years and, honestly, didn't try and push anything on me. He referred me to a TMJ specialized physiotherapist and wanted me to get other jaw, neck issues I had sorted out before we resorted to re-aligning my teeth. He told me, "I could slap invisalign on you for a couple thousand dollars and moderately move your teeth, but it's not gonna stop you from clenching. "

It was nice to know specialists like this will still have your best interest (AND WALLET) in mind.

While it might look like a corporate franchise, the orthos here, well Dr. Puszczak in particular, are there to treat you, not take your money

It was an amazing experience. The staff and doctor are absolutely professional, respectful, kind and I’m so happy that I came here.

“Free Whitening” they don’t advertise that you do the whitening yourself. False advertising & extremely misleading. The woman working said you can leave the whitener in the retainer overnight. There was so much pain in less than 10 minutes, It went straight into the garbage. You’d think after spending $5,000+ they would provide the whitening services and not leave it to the client.

The first set of trays I received were not actually Invisalign, but “pure aligners”. I did not have any attachments and wore my 10 trays as recommended and did not notice much of a difference. After about 6 months of these aligners I had an appointment and got a rescan for a new set of trays. Then waited 6 WEEKS for the new ones to come. The new set was actually Invisalign.when asked why the 2 different kinds, the response i got was that they try the pure aligners first for small movements, and if you need more movement then they use Invisalign. What a waste of 6 months when I could have just had the Invisalign in the first place. Maybe I’m just confused but that was extremely annoying and seemed like a money grab to me.

Also, I don’t know if it’s something about me but every time I go to this location I feel as though the staff is unprofessional. Not once has anyone introduced themselves to me. They never explain what they’re doing to me. I wish they would have some better “bedside manner”. Seems as though they don’t want to be there and makes me feel like I don’t want to be there either.

I try really hard to like going to my appointments because i’m excited to have a smile i love, but every time i leave i feel frustrated and angry. Consider a second opinion before handing over your life savings!
