I was at home in my condo when the delivery arrived.
I watched the delivery man come to the door, not call up, but stick a note on the door and leave.
The next day I went to the location on the tag to pick up my package, but they didn’t have it. Instead it was sent to this location which is 45 minutes (on a good day) away from me. The driver had mislabeled the tag? Or maybe chose an easier location to take it to.
The item is not worth what will be 3 hours of driving. And it seems impossible to get ahold of anyone to help.

This is the worst courier company I ever dealt with. They keep on postponing my shipment every day and no one even bother to even call from their side to inform the client why his shipment is being postponed.
I called and waited 45 mins to eventually speak to one staff who doesn’t have a clue about how to reach out to their internal departments to find out what going on with my shipment. I am very disappointed with such service and will never use them again.

The worst and most lazy courier. Paid for an express package and got a missed delivery. Wouldn't let me pick up my package and was told "no one works at the back and it would take time for the front team to look for my package" Shame. Terrible.

Never use Purolator to send your documents. They charge you alot of money. Their drivers are arrogant and unprofessional. Their call centre guys and even the supervisors all are lier. I call them to stop my package. They said we will stop it but in the end it is delivered

Came to drop off Amazon return items. Scan and printed and packaged by myself and then passed them to Staff. Staff took them without scanning in the system and wanted to put them away. I reminded her to scan in the system. She said to “you don’t believe me, that’s fine” then scanned with unhappy face in a second. Then she said to “happy? ” I don’t understand what the problem that I want to make sure my return items be scanned in system before I leave. Why she treated me like this? I don’t know her name, but she is Filipino with black long hair and glasses.

Worst company I have ever tried to deal with. Constantly transferred from 1 person to another. All 4 customer service ladies I spoke to was super rude. I did not choose to use this company and will NEVER use this company again. Absolutely TRASH. Maybe if they actually taught their staff and managers how to handle situations and be held accountable for THEIR mistakes. My package was suppose to be delivered on Friday and the driver was too lazy to even leave his vehicle to try to deliver this package. Do not use this company. Jennifer was no help when speaking with her (good job manager). The next 2 people was even worse. Absolute trash. I have been waiting 7 days for my package. SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA. Ridiculous.

I ordered a vacuum cleaner directly from Dyson. As soon as it became apparent that they were using Purolator to ship it I knew that I was in for trouble. I included on the delivery instructions the intercom code to call upon arrival so I could let them in. I also signed up for SMS alerts to be told of their arrival. However the only 2 alerts I received today were: your package is out for delivery, then 2 hours later: Purolator was unable to deliver your package today. What a big surprise. No effort at all to try and deliver the package. I doubt very much whether they were even there. I sat by my phone waiting for the intercom call but nothing. Not a peep. Other delivery companies seem quite capable of calling it, but not Purolator. They also did not try to call my phone number either. I’m pretty sure now that they are saving costs and trying to get people to pickup the packages from their pickup locations. Or maybe the driver just didn’t want to get cold leaving his truck to venture forth to people’s houses. Either way, the service is an absolute joke and the sooner businesses stop using these lazy clowns for deliveries the better. Up your game Purolator or just give up and go flip burgers instead. You’re useless. Redelivery date 27th December. You’re having a laugh right? Why 6 days? To try and get me to pick it up? Totally unprofessional!

I have a parcel which was delivered late and now waiting for picking up. I am not in the country till the end of December thats why I asked my bf to pick it up for me as Purolator wont hold it over 5 days. He has photo of my ID with whole name and address same on parcel, pick up note and letter from me. But the lady at counter still didnt let my bf pick it up and showed him an email address to ask me sending email to show everything and confirm to let him picking up.
I sent an email right away, another one after one day, the third one after few days and still nobody replies. Wondering what service it is and whose email she asked me to send to?
And now with the right direction from the counter staff, my parcel has been returned. Such a awful experience with Purolator.
What is the email she gave us and ask us to send to?

Very helpful staff. She made sure to go and check for the package inside the warehouse.

I was not hoping to get a call back when she said I'll call you when the driver arrives but, as soon as I got alert via text the package at the facility, I got a call from her as well.

I had my immigration paper work filed through BLS and had important documents mailed to me from consulate, but apparently my address was typed wrong on the courier (dont know how come government officials can do such big mistake with accrual mail. I called Purolator customer service which not a great help as they had no clue where my mail was getting delivered or when could i pick up from Aero location as i live close by. Finally i went to Aero location and spoke to Jinesh (hope i spelled the name right) he investigated what the issue was and recommended me to come the next day as the mail was in the truck. I came the next day and he personally had kept my mail aside. What a sigh of relief for me. I literally shook hands with him and thanked for hi dedicated work ethics. He is an asset to Purolator must say.

Not happy with service, I have been waiting for days for a shipment that was originating and delivering in Calgary. Shipment was first out for delivery on Friday. There was a weather delay and instead of making it available for pickup it was stuck in the truck all weekend. When I called again and had it put as hold for pickup I thought it would be available as per an email. Instead, when I arrived at the terminal the shipment was "out for delivery". When I found out I told the terminal clerk to "let the driver deliver. " Guess what.they cancelled the delivery and now I have to go BACK to the terminal to pickup. Talk about a waste of time. Very unprofessional.

***Quick update.just got a new notification that this is back "out for delivery". Their excuse is that there was a "sorting error". How much you want to bet that later today it will still be sitting at the terminal or better yet, lost? ***

We just wanted to share our amazing client service experience with all, we had a computer delivered and unfortunately we missed the delivery by 6 minutes to our house! In a panic we started calling to see if there was any other options available as we required this computer for the next business day! We ended up going to the main Depot and spoke with two extremely friendly and helpful employees named Jignesh and Sonia, Jignesh heard the panic in our voice and they both jumped into action! Jignesh went straight back into the wear house and started looking for our boxes one by one on a Saturday of the LONG WEEKEND! Their friendly demeanour assured us they were doing everything in their power to help us and ultimately found the computer we so desperately needed! Thank you both so very much for helping us in what to us was an extremely stressful time! You’ve made our experience extremely positive and thank you for all the hard work you both exhibited!

Quick check in to send a package and thry have an automated weighing station that can quickly print up a tracking waybill for packages which is a good service. Nice staff as well.

They made us drive around from the McLeod location all the way to the airport during rush hour with lots of rain and traffic only to find out the package wasn't in that airport location and that it might have already been sent back to the send without letting us know that happened. We drove for literally 1.5 hours wasting all that gas for nothing. And the staff at the McLeod location was so rude. Coming from work and having to be working all week, you don't always have time to grab your package. That has been the most wasteful, most unproductive, and most expensive drive I have ever done. Purolator is probably the worst delivery service I have ever experienced! If I could give zero star, I would. At the least the person at the airport location actually checked at the back if the package was still there. I'll give that person the props but that's about it.

Do not use Purolator. On two separate occasions, their driver was too lazy to actually drop off the package. One of those instances I was waiting for the driver outside on my front patio. The explanation for the package not delivered was that “the customer was unavailable. ” I was definitely available. The driver decided not to deliver the package which was important medicine that needed to be cold delivered. Because of this drivers mistake I was not available to take my medicine on time and will have severe side effects. DO NOT USE PUROLATOR.

I shipped a product from our business and clicked "signature required" as always. After losing my package, I found out that Purolator contracts out to other companies for their deliveries, even though it was local. When I called them, they noted that "because of COVID, they do not take signatures, " which is odd, since Calgary has been open for over a month. I have shipped hundreds of products in the last 24 months and am only finding out now that I have been paying for a service, customer signatures, that wasn't being obtained. These guys are absolute dirt bags and scammers. Don't have the option of collecting signatures if you are not collecting them. I can only imagine the hundreds of thousands these people have made throughout the last 24 months and the pandemic from the signature option that they did not collect.

Every time the delivery man doesn’t bother to press the buzzer when I was waiting at home all day. They never delivered parcels to the nearest pickup location. Instead of that they love to drop off my package at this location. I have to drive really far to get my parcel each time. Worst ever! Never would chose this company if I have other options.

None of the employee of this company know what they are doing and what they are saying. All are wasting time and giving grief to customers.
My package took a week from NE Calgary to SW Calgary. Amazing services. Highly recommend this company if you want miserable experience receiving and sending package.

By delivery they mean they’ll leave a slip at your door while you’re home and not actually have the package in hand. Have had multiple packages over the past week failed to deliver while I was home and am left having to rent a vehicle to be able to pick up my packages.

Sat here for an hour while they looked for a package. This is exactly what I'd like to do on a Saturday. I got a notification saying they attempted to deliver a package, absolute lie. No driver attempted to come as nothing was on my security cameras. There wasn't even a delivery tag. I had phoned and they assured me the package was here. Absolute nightmare trying to get a refund on my package as well

I am living in apartment and whenever there are deliveries, I have to go downstair to the front door to pick up. Never have any problems with other couriers or deliveries as the delivery people usually call me and wait for me 2-3 minutes to come downstairs to pick up. I needed something urgently and ordered online and the seller in the same city of mine sent through Purolator. Have been waited for 5 days for it to be delivered. There were some communication between CS and I back and forth to track the parcel. On the website it showed several attempts of delivery was made but address was either incorrect or no security code or receiver not available. The thing was I was always at home but they didn't call me when arrive even I have made remarks to CS to make sure they call upon delivery. I also confirm my address several times with CS.
What made me mad was in between the five days waiting, there was one time a person called and I told him I am coming right now and please wait for a few minutes for me to take the elevator.and he said ok. But when I arrived at the front door of the building, the person has already left. Then I tried to call back 5-6 times but he didn't pick up the call. He then changed the parcel status as receiver unavailable. The whole process of me receiving his call until I came down to the front door is within 5 minutes. Very disappointing service.

When I called I was told that the item is in the warehouse but it cannot be picked-up. It turns out that I have to wait 4-7 days to receive it as they need to make arrangements.
I was also informed to check on the website for updates on the tracking.
I cannot believe that I need to wait another week for the item thatI was supposed to get delivered today.

I live out in the country with a gate for context. Friday I got a notice on my gate saying I need to pick up my package at Michael's in airdrie and that they'd hold it for 5 business days, I had a busy weekend so I didn't get into airdrie until Sunday afternoon. Michael's said they didn't have the package that it went back to the puralator warehouse, okay slightly frustrating. I call them Monday to see if I can pick it up there, or anywhere I don't care at this point, they said their driver has it and is attempting dilivery, my roommate is home so I tell them he can call me, well I get home and there's ANOTHER notice on my gate saying they missed me, and to pick it up at Michael's. I'd like to but is it going to be there this time? Just leave my package where you say it's going to be! Stop taking my package in circles!

Waiting all day for a very important package to be delivered and they didn’t even attempt to find me on the buzzer (apartment building) or call me. They just didn’t bother delivering it and I kept checking the tracking and they just updated the status with “no entry code”. I’ve never had any issues with any other carriers (Canada Post, Amazon, etc). Do they not know how to use a buzzer? Lol I called them and the girl was super incompetent and answered “I don’t know” to every question I had. She said they would need to update the label and it would take an extra 2 days. What a complete joke. Super frustrating. Avoid using them. (I can see why there are so many 1 star reviews now. Trust them lol)

The office that covers the Calgary area is the worst delivery service out there. EVERYTIME I order something on-line that comes via Purolator there is an issue and I mean EVERYTIME. Most times they say "delivery attempted" and I know 100% it was not. One time I had a 2 piece delivery where 1 piece went to Edmonton and the other half went to Vancouver. On complaining it got resent and went to Hamilton before eventually turning up on my doorstep damaged.
Given the choice will never use them

Right by the airport. Curb side pick-up available, you just need to show your ID and tracking order.

I did have problems with having my order delivered - which is why I ended up picking it up. However, I am not sure if it was this facility's fault or central.

I missed a delivery of my new TV had to go and pick it up. Customer service was great inside the warehouse however I notice a hole in my TV box I got home to set it up and the screen was smashed in the exact place the hole in the box was. I am not impressed at all.

For some reason I end up picking up the Parcel every time from this location. Its too far and such a waste of time. The driver rings the bell and within a min or two we see a Door Slip. Only one short attempt, miss it and you have a long drive to pick it up. Maybe I should sit at my door all the time to greet the Drivers. Never missed a package from Canada Post, its just these guys. I make sure to avoid Purolator most of the times.

My slip said I had 5 business day to pick. It's been 4 days, I went in today and they claimed my parcel was already sent back because Saturday is included in their business day. There's no indication of time or limit on these matters and as per usual I wasted a bunch of time dealing with Purolator.

Drivers never use buzzer codes for delivering to apartments and my deliveries always have to be picked up at the depot. Extremely frustrating. Use a different service if possible or expect to pick up the delivery on your own at the depot.

As I've now seeing from a ton of other reviews drivers don't actually deliver your packages. They simply state that they attempted delivery and I was unavailable. Well guess what I was home all day waiting for this package. My theory is that they simply do bother delivering as it costs money so they skip all the residential areas and say they "tried to deliver". They likely only deliver once or twice a week to residential areas to save on money. This is the third occurrence of this happening. Perhhaps we should start a class action law suit. Of course we have Cameras on the house and can prove no purolator truck even drove by. This is the worst shipping company I've encountered and will complain through all media channels and outlets. ZERO STAR REVIEW!

The staff were great! For business and personal, I’ve dropped off items and had deliveries. Have other delivery people knock on door, drop package on porch and go, appreciate that these guys wait to hand it to me. Some things may not be costly but it’s the principal. Thanks for all you do.

Ordered a bottle of (cheap) shampoo on amazon prime, as I have 100s before. For some reason Amazon chose to deliver through purolator today and they wouldn’t leave a $6 bottle of shampoo on the doorstep while every other courier is fine to leave $100s of merchandise on the doorstep. Online preference form is a useless print and send form rather than a simple button. Get with the times.

Their drivers have an instinctual fear of doorbells. As such you will visit this place often to retrieve your packages. They won't care. They won't even pretend to care. You will complain, they will blow you off.

They have your money. They have your things. You will go to them and that's all you need to know.

Purelater would be a better name.

They're so disappointing as in if they lose a package they don't even go the extra step to call a customer.why pay for guaranteed shipping with purolater You're just going to get ripped off and then you're going to wait a week wondering what happened to your package tracking system goes completely off.then you call Amazon to figure out what's happening your package only to find out that purolater sent them a message saying the carrier lost it in transit meaning really the courier stole your package because it was scanned into the truck but not off. Good job Purolator hope that's it for business.

Parcel arrived Calgary late and attempted delivery on Tuesday. According to tracking time, I was home and received no phone calls or any notes were left in condo complex. Excuse was driver had no phone and/or could not get to the address. I had to call the center to get my package re-delivered. Very poor for delivery organization. Too bad no option for zero stars as it was zero in satisfaction.

Terrible delivery service. No attempt was made to deliver items on two packages on a row now. I know because I waited all day for the vehicle to arrive the only indication was that the driver "could not access" the place. This is important medical devices for a veteran and now I have to uber to the airport to pick up the package myself!

Edit: in response to their comment that "safety" was the issue. I would like them to explain why garbage trucks, scissor lifts, Fed Ex and UPS has ZERO issue driving into our neighbourhood but for Puolator a little snow is a safety hazard. I would like to believe them but twice now they failed to deliver packages and there was NO indication that safety was the reason for non-delivery.

The bottom line is if Purolator needs to make excuses for non deliver to a neighbourhood then they must not offer services to that area. Period.

They were hired by Amazon to bring me a small package. Instead of leaving it in my mailbox, on my steps, or anywhere inside my yard (as they're instructed to with Amazon Prime packages and no it did not require a signature) they left me a notice demanding I come pick it up from them, at this location, within 5 days. It would cost me fifty dollars each way in a taxi to go all that way to pick up the item, when its only a very small inexpensive item. I have complained to Amazon and will have Purolator deprioritized on my account since they refuse to deliver a simple tiny package. Every other courier in the city follows instructions and leaves packages in a secure location for amazon customers, but this Purolator office does not. Theyd rather make someone spend a bunch of money and time instead of just doing their job.

Edit: This location has AGAIN failed to deliver yet another package just today. Again. And no it did not require a signature, nor did the other package they refused to deliver. The first package was mailed all the way back to Amazon so I'm sure this one will be as well. I'm extremely unhappy and just made another complaint to Amazon about them about this courier that refuses to do its job.

They are the absolute worst organized people I have ever seen. Their main office (1-888 number) answers the phone and has no connection with Calgary office who do not answer phone calls. I called about 5 times today no response. They delayed my package by over 3 days. I should have been refunded for my shipping cost and then some. I would absolutely not recommend Purolator if you are having to deal with this location.

Purolator, the only delivery company that doesn't deliver the packages you paid them to deliver. THE DRIVER NEVER GOT OUT OF THE TRUCK, he never made an attempt to deliver my package (which was medicine). I had to go pick it up an hour away at the airport a day later.

If I could I would give them just zero rating. First of all, their delivery driver didn’t dial our building phone to let the door open. They just hang the notice on the outside and left; although I was waiting the whole day for their arrival. They just threw the notice at the end of the day, precisely 6: 22 pm. Then the pickup location they provided is 15 km from my residence. Anyway, I went there; and there was another hassle - another drama. I showed them two of my government issued photo ID; however, they refused to give me my package since my current address wasn’t on the ID. They said Dell required proof of address, although my shipper was hp. Those two ladies working there was asking my car insurance for address verification. I mentioned them that the insurance and registration was my wife’s name; but they said that’s okay. So, I showed them; but that didn’t satisfy them since my wife’s last name didn’t match with me - so, they didn’t accept that. Then they asked for my online purchase receipt which I showed them instantly. At last, they were understood that this was the legitimate person to pickup. Their faces was so pale as if I were the defaulter. YOU Purolator need to learn how to identify somebody and train your staffs the right customer services. Also, train your delivery drivers how to use a buzzer to get access instead of just throwing notices.

The people inside are nice but drivers don't know how to buzz an apartment to make a delivery. The only reason I had to go to the location was because this was the second package in two weeks that the driver didn't buzz me even though I waited home all day. I don't recommend Purolator as a delivery service.

Stupid me! Why did I choose purolator? ! This company is NIGHTMARE! NEVER AGAIN. I am surprised that this useless company is still in business
