I missed a courier a week before. I did a phone-in to get an update on my parcel. The lady who should be doing customer service never even care to hear the concern. I don't know why people with husband, boyfriend (family problems) issues are sitting in a counter for doing customer service. I have been doing customer service from last 5 years were we are taught how valuable a customer is and could be. I still don't know why such a reputed company keep such kind of staffs to ruin their reputation. I never had such kind of experience in Windsor and Scarborough. Being Polite or to listen to a customer is the first priority of a Customer Service agent (person).
I can see so many reviews down this one. I do know that the review is just a review and no steps will be taken. Let the people know How a reputed firm can be a worst organization to dealt with in Edmonton. After So many reviews still I the same person in the counter.and the funny thing about the call was "When I went with the stick note the same lady who told me who can't track the ID with the number I mentioned through the phone used the same number to track it when I reached at the Office". Hats Off Purolator great job

The worst customer service ever! I order through Amazon and tracking mentioned delivery was attempted but they never came to the house. We were there waiting the whole day. No one even tried to call. Then they decided to return the package to Amazon without even trying to deliver it again. I wish I could rate with less than one star. Horrible service.

I gave the drivers 3 chances to make the smallest effort to buzz from the apartment foyer. Ya know, the buzzer number I entered when I placed the orders? Every time, they stick the 'failed delivery attempt' sticker on the door and walk away. If I did 30% of my job, I wouldn't have one anymore. Purolator, you are the worst (now that Greyhound is gone). Congratulations.

Basically left everyone a notice that implies you weren’t home. Exactly at the same time I got delivered a FedEx package…
In essence, do NOT use purolator if you actually want to get your package delivered. And to add to mockery, you have to wait 3 days to pick it up.

They dont deliver packages this delivery company. Like all the other reviews expect the "delivery person" to run to your door, stick a "sorry we missed you note" and run back to as quickly as possible without a single knock or attempt at delivery.

I was home and available to receive my package when I saw that it was out for delivery. By the end of the day, no attempt had been made to deliver to me. When I looked at the tracking for an update it said it was taken this centre as an attempt was made. No attempt to ring my buzzer or call me to let me know the delivery was here. No slip was left letting me know this happened. I received a text message the next day saying it was available for pick up. When I went to the store which is extremely inconvenient for me to get to, I asked the customer service person if they knew what happened and he accused me of not being home and saying that deliveries won’t be made to apartments due to “issues”. He was extremely rude, dismissive, and unhelpful when all I had done was ask a simple question. Extremely poor delivery and customer service.

AMAZING!

They have a new super efficient system where you scan your phone with the tracking barcode and it will instantly print off your paper that people at the front desk will so nicely place it on your package and send it off right away for you.

They even have a work station so you can tape up your packages and finish them up

Also this location was very Clean!

Definitely impressed. Lady at the front desk that helped me was super helpful and super nice too. Thank you!

Paid an extra $45 for next business shipping from Vancouver to Edmonton. The package arrived in Edmonton the same day, but because it snowed in Edmonton the delivery was moved from next business day to the day after. On my way home from work, and picking up my 6 year old from school, I noticed FedEx delivering to my building. If I can make it to work, my child to school, and FedEx to my building, why would the weather cause any delay for Purolator…especially when the customer has deliberately paid extra for delivery. Never again will I use Purolator.

THE WORSE COMPANY EVER!
They said an attempt to deliver failed because I wasn't home which is a complete lie, I was home the whole day, then I had to wait 7 days for a second attempt to deliver, the driver didn't even wait for 3 seconds before leaving! Rude drivers, the worse service, I will never ever use them again for a delivery!

The driver didnt even make an attempt for the deliver and gave the ticket.

The person at the store are even capable to properly check the tracking using reference number and said 'I work here.i know what I do. '
Apparently not.
Would not recommend spending any money for their service at all.

The first time, I received a "you missed a delivery attempt" note when no attempt was made, no call, and no buzzer.another delivery attempt turned in "receiver inaccessible". Talked to customer care and she said it might be traffic or construction (another excuse). The third time I filled out the snr file because I wasn't home, the driver called me and said I see the form but I cannot leave the package here, even though I asked him "you called my number and have my signature, please leave the package behind the door", but he left: . Now I talked to the customer and they said we tried 4 times and there is no delivery attempt left you should pick it up.service is awful. I haven't had any trouble with other delivery services.

Its purolator.if you had the pleasure of using them you will understand the 1 star.moving forward always see if you can set up using a different shipping company for online purchases as never once have i had a package actually delivered.

Absolutely terrible service. Not willing to deliver my package due to a short strip of road being under construction even though the sidewalk was open and the alleyway behind the building is easy to access. Had to wait 2 days for the package to be marked for pickup and i'm very unhappy.

This is shockingly the best location for mail services that I’ve personally experienced. Bad reviews can really scare you but I’ve only had great experiences where I live. Both customer service in the store and the delivery man was so kind and friendly. Luckily I can generally estimate the time they will arrive so that is convenient on my end. They must have actually switched their operations to improve over the past year or so because like I said, I’ve never had issues.

I reached out to the rep to leave a delivery instruction, I was home all day anticipating for my delivery, I was excited but of course when I checked for the tracking “Attempted to deliver, receiver unavailable” seriously? I’m not surprise, it’s common trend. Beyond disappointed. If I have a choice, I will never use their services again. I paid an expedited shipping but I’m not getting the package on time, that’s for sure.

My package has been hold for three days and I have to call then everyday when or where can I pick it up and now it's been delayed again I have to wait for another day just to pick it up but unfortunately I cannot pick it up anymore because I have to leave. They didn't even leave a door tag in our door.

Not very helpful and incapable of doing their job properly. Driver left a notice saying to pick it up at this location. Surprise! It wasn’t there but at a different location. Do we even have a good shipping company in Canada?

I shipped a package from Edmonton to mlt they lost it and I called them to reimburse me the content they said no we are not and even the shipping fee they didn’t reimburse me.
I paid 350 for the shipping and the goods worth more than 300
I left a review here last time and then they responded saying oh send us an email we will help you and when I did they said no we can’t help you
They only respond here to make it look like they are helping but in reality they are not.
Give me back my money.

Seems to happening to multiple people where we’re home all day yet don’t get a call, and then the tracking says that an attempt was made. Please do not respond with your Copy and Paste answer that you’re sorry just actually deliver packages to people’s door like they’ve paid for.

Initially the was a communication problem regarding a parcel I was getting but once I spoke to them and explained that my buzzer at my apartment doesn't work they were able to accommodate by sending my parcel out for another try at delivery, but they had them driver call me upon arrival so that I could get my parcel without having to pick it up. Great customer service.

Today I was served by a young lady who went above and beyond to assist me. She modified a box to fit my package, helped me pack it, and advised of all the delivery options and related costs. Such great customer service.

Pickup was easy and didn't take long at all however deliverin the package to me was difficult bcuz my buzzer didn't work so call on arrival should have been the next action other then just sticking the notice on the door

I rarely write the review, but this one I have to. This company is a joke. I was at home for the whole day when It out for delivery. However, They just leave the noted saying I missed the delivery which I never ever received a call or ring the door. The next day, I check track my number, It said it is available for pick up, then I went to the store, the guy told me that It is not here yet, dude, I went there for a reason, I checked before I go, and asked me to come maybe an hour later. LOL, what a joke.

Worst service ever. I was waiting for my medication to land from BC, as I just moved to Edmonton. I sat in my living room watching the front door patiently waiting all day. The package now says signed (by me? LIE) and left at the front door? How is it both? How did no one even stop by? I call in to Purolator and they said they can see the gps went to my house. But 100% it did not as I’ve been sitting here all day. The package said it was delivered @4: 01 I called them @4: 07 because I was checking my delivery every 10 minutes. What a joke of a company. I’m not sitting out front of their closed location apparently where the driver picked my package up.

Happened twice this year,they deliver package but they dont.got notice sticker,saying sorry we missed you, please go to this location pick up your staff,but both time I was home, and deliver guy didnt call or use buzz at all. I was waiting all day ,only find a sticker in the evening. Its really inconvenient, special after COVID. If i can chose the company wont use this.

My office is located in the den of my house with big windows facing the street and front door. I paid a lot extra to have my package delivered overnight. Only to have the status updated as attempted delivery - receiver unavailable. I haven’t left my office all day, no one came to the door. I also have a ring doorbell and it never detected any motion. This is ridiculous.

Delivery driver "attempted" their delivery. I buzzed them into my apartment complex, but instead of calling me or trying to go up to my apartment, they just put a "sorry we missed you" note on my mailbox.

When I attempted to contact this location to check if my package is ready for pick up, the phone continued to ring and the call eventually dropped. I wasn't able to leave a message or speak to anybody.

What's the point of having something delivered to you if the drivers don't actually attempt the delivery and you can't contact anybody to get details regarding your package. Absolute joke.

How does this place even stay in business? They don't even attempt to deliver your package at all. I guess their business strategy is to save money on delivering items, by not actually delivering them, and expecting you to go to their downtown location to pick it up yourself because they can't be bothered to provide the service they're paid to do. Completely incompetent.

I would have given this joke of a delivery service 0 stars if I could. The most unprofessional rude employees you can find. The delivery guy doesn't even pretend to do his job. He just leaves and says you weren't at home. Then you can expect to be harrased by their customer service that it was somehow your fault and even she claimed " someone might have stolen your delivery sticker ". I really hope you guys go out of business. WORST DELEIVERY COMPANY EVER. I'd rather use blind donkeys instead of purolator since they have a better chance of making it to the destination. 0 stars.

It’s the worst shipment service in Canada and around the world. I did ship some documents with them and they told me its take five business days and now almost 3 months nothing arrived and even though they lost my papers. No body care if this document is very important.

Like many others working from home right now, I am literally home, all day every day, and yet in a single week Purolator has twice claimed that I wasn't home when they tried to deliver my packages. They are straight-up lying so they don't have to do their job. This is incredibly frustrating on Friday afternoon when I need office equipment and cables for the the coming work week and the pick up location is closed Saturday and Sunday. Absolute worst postal service and that's saying a lot.

My last review got deleted, I guess what I said was inappropriate.

So I will reiterate, driver doesn't even attempt to deliver. I am home all day and I am somehow unavailable to the driver. The second day it just got dropped off at the pickup location and I am notified by Amazon that my package was "delivered". Signature was required but I guess the drive can just sign it for you because I didn't sign anything. People make an effort and go out of their way to wait for their parcels at home, maybe show some common decency and actually make an effort to deliver it.

Sadly they do not answer the telephone, or really care at all it seems. When I was forced to physically go in to check on my package I think the girl just hit a few keys on the keyboard (pretending) and told me my package wasn't there.

Apparently my shipment arrived in Edmonton on the 25 of the march, and was out for delivery and I guess I wasnt home when it was supposedly attempted to be dropped off. However I received no notice, no phone call, no email until the last day that they would hold the package. Unfortunately for me I'm off work almost as they close. Still managed to get here 5min before they closed, low and behold doors are locked. So now my package is gone back to the original shippers? Their phone line is absolutely useless as is customer service.

I've had to deal with PUROLATOR for about 5 times and everytime the package has been late by a month, delivered to the wrong address, or just sitting in limbo where no one knows about it. It's not only me, but I have had 3 others friends with similar or exact same issues with this company. It baffles me how they are still operational as a company, it would be a blessing if they went under just so we never have to deal with them again. If you have a choice/control over who handles your shipping, save yourself the hassle and go with FedEx. They have shipped to me in under 4 days internationally with no hiccups.

I wish I could give negative stars. The worst delivery service ever. Left my package outside my door in my apartment building today. Did not bother knocking either. I was home too. It could have been easily stolen.

Also, I have had two packages returned back to their office because the driver found the buzzer not working. Did not bother to call me when I was home. I called Purolator only to be told that their company policy is to not provide their drivers with phones to call customers. Seriously? I really wish online retailers would stop using purolator. They are useless! Worst delivery service provider ever. I will be requesting whoever I purchase from not to use purolator again.

Reduced hours to 9-4pm and then didn't hold it for the full 5 days when I finally took a day off work to pick it up! Didn't even try to buzz me when they originally "tried" to drop off the package.

I ordered a deep freezer that was to be delivered today, April 6th, to my home address. We live in a duplex and the other unit is for sale and unoccupied. Our unit has a shovelled sidewalk to our front door, which as our address clearly affixed beside our front door. The Purolator driver went to the unoccupied door and 'attempted' delivery (just 20 minutes ago according to the delivery slip left on the wrong side of the duplex) and didn't even try our own door with the obvious address. I am dumbfounded how the driver missed delivering to our house, which is within plain view of the street.

We have no buzz call at our apartment but usually other delivery company would just call to let us pick up. They don't even bother to call and just gave me a notice to ask me to go all the way to pick up and won't even let me pick up today!

This is the second time I have a bad experience with this delivery company the first time is when they return my package and didn't even let me know. Like why do I even put my phone number down if they not gonna use it at all!

Just the absolute worst shipping service. Picking up packages is like pulling teeth, only limited places you can pick up from and not close to a lot of areas. They “attempted delivery” but they didn’t even leave a note and the customer service agent was unhelpful on the phone not being able to do anything for me. My package is now a 20 minute drive from my place

Just like a lot of people my experience with Purolator is abysmal. Delivery was attempted on a Wednesday, a card was left. I received an email Thursday morning saying the item was scheduled to be delivered today. Nothing came so went to the depot 30 minutes before closing, my item was not there, fellow says its on the truck for delivery. I look at the tracking again, and it shows that there has been a weather delay. Edmonton was plus 2 and sunny today, why cant they just admit to an error instead of some B. S.like a 'weather delay'. Common Purolator, look at all these terrible reviews, do something about your service!

My experience so far is positive with this Purolator store. The staffs were nice and friendly. The service was prompt, there was nothing to complain about. The delivery driver also called me, but I wasn't at home. Then the store phoned me for the pick up instructions. I am satisfied this time with the Purolator service and the store as well.

Terrible service. I called them to ship my package to a closer pickup station and I confirmed with them about the location. When I actually went there to pick up, they said the package is still in the original pickup station.

Sat around waiting all day waiting for my tv to be delivered only to find out they can't make a phone call because they don't have a phone. It's 2019 everyone has a phone. I specifically paid for delivery because this is a large item that I wouldn't be able to carry by myself. They wouldn't let me pick up it up the same day and were conveniently closed all weekend because apparently people with day jobs should book a whole day off work just to receive a package anywhere between 9AM and 9PM and then wait outside for it as well. I even called to ask if they could give me a ball park time when they would be coming and they said they couldn't. Absolutely brutal service, I can't believe a company as big as Best buy can't afford to hire a delivery service that will actually get people their order.

I live in a apartment, but the buzzer to get into the building is linked to my phone so I can see when someone has tried to deliver a package. They NEVER even attempted to enter my building and just left a note saying “sorry we missed you”. Do not recommend this company whatsoever.

The absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. They claimed to have attempted delivery on my package.while I was sitting by the door with my 3 dogs hearing absolutely no knock or doorbell. Imagine my shock when I receive an attempted delivery notice at 2: 44 through my email when I've been there since 1pm! Of course now my package is pickup only so I was used to help the driver get through his shift faster? No help whatsoever, they literally tell you to just "wait and see". A mail delivery service seems to struggle with the prospect of ACTUALLY delivering mail.

Awful service! I ordered the piano from Costco and purolator scheduled delivery on work days and there no one notification about estimated time, as consequence nobody was at home. After rescheduling delivery for another day they didn't show up that day! Thay decided to reschedule for another day without any suggestions! I don't know why Costco still work with them? Unreliable company. I'll try to avoid using this service, but it seems they don't care about people reviews because there is no improvements.

If I had a choice I wouldn't use them but unfortunately my shipper only uses this horrible company. I have no buzzer in my building but my window is right above the buzzers and is usually open. I have left notes with both my phone number or to even just say hello or my suite number but the driver couldn't be bothered. Since then I've had drivers not show up and say it was undeliverable. I now have to request hold for pickup, which totally defeats the purpose of a delivery company. Would not recommend them to anyone!

Whenever I order something online and they use Purolator to deliver my package it's often sent to a far off location because my building doesn't have a buzzer? Oh and the driver is not allowed to call me (even though I'm right inside my apartment and could come out and meet them) because of security reason.:/

What the actually f. They're closed on weekends!? !? So. I'm just NEVER going to get my package then? I miss deliveries because, you know, I have a job. I pay for expedited shipping because I'm busy with you know, A JOB, and can't go shopping. AND THEN this place isn't open on THE ONLY days I can go grab WHAT I PAID FOR.who decided to have a shipping/pickup site CLOSED ON WEEKENDS!? !? If i was around weekdays, i wouldn't have to go to your site to pickup my package! Absolutely idiotic.

Purolator does not even attempt delivery, they just leave the slip. I've been home the last two times they "attempted" delivery. Terrible service. DO NOT USE PUROLATOR IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS

Stayed home to get this (already late) package but no one knocked- and to my surprise I get an ‘attempted delivery’ email.
I go to my door to check- no notice. 15 min later however? Somehow there is now a notice though still no ‘attempted delivery’ of my package. Very shady dealings Purolator!
I would never go through this company by choice.

I sure wish Amazon would not use these clowns. Purolator still sucks. This time, instead of emailing about their non-delivery of a package (for which I was home) they just decided not to deliver it to my front door, or e-mail, or call, OR LEAVE A TAG.
When I called customer service I was kept on hold for over half an hour saying that they will try again tomorrow. Too bad I am leaving on a trip tomorrow first thing and I needed these items for said trip.
This company is a joke and I will cancel my Amazon subscription if they keep using Purolator.
